• Cardozo (10/5): El alojamiento perfecto en la isla perfecta - El alojamiento destaca por su excelente limpieza, confort y una vista al mar simplemente espectacular. El balcón es un espacio perfecto para disfrutar del entorno y relajarse. Todo estuvo cuidado al detalle, lo que hizo la estadía aún más especial. Sin duda, un lugar al que dan ganas de volver. Nada todo estuvo perfecto…volveré
• Cardozo (10/5): mpecable - Un lugar en condiciones impecables, limpio, ordenado y cuidadosamente mantenido. Excelente trato de los anfitriones. La vista al mar, el balcón, la hamaca, todo lo necesario para disfrutar de este paraíso que es Providencia.
• Liedtkemoin (1/5): - Die Aussicht vom Balkon war gut. Katastrophal verschmutzt. Überall Dreck und Spinnenweben. Abfluss von der Dusche mit fremden Haaren verstopft und die Unterkunft hat nach Schimmel gerochen.
• jofa212 (9/5): Hermoso lugar!!! - La ubicación en relación a las playas, comercios cercanos. El apartamento cuenta con una hermosa vista. La anfitriona Gabriela siempre a disposición, gentil y amable. N Lamentablemente la zona no cuenta con la posibilidad de tener agua caliente para la ducha.
• ALEJANDRO (9/5): Lugar ideal para descanso por tranquilidad, privacidad, oferta cultural, gastronómica y de playa. - La ubicación es ideal. Se encuentra a 5 minutos caminando de una de las mejores playas, con buen restaurante frente al mar. Está a 1 kilómetro caminando de un buen supermercado y de buenos restaurantes. Tiene su propia sala de programación artística que pudimos disfrutar (Cortometrajes, Concierto). El lugar es tranquilo y de noche es silencioso. Los anfitriones son muy atentos, oportunos y cordiales, con intereses culturales y arraigo en la Isla. Recomendamos mejorar la limpieza haciéndola más exhaustiva para mayor comodidad y mejorar el menaje de cocina. Se sugiere cambiar la cortina de la ducha para que sea más higiénica.

• Thomas (7/5): Nice apartment with ocean and lizard views - Cute little apartment on Providencia island with view on the ocean. There are also lizards in the trees that you can admire. House offers the basic things you need for a short term stay It got very hot at night and we didn’t always want to turn on the AC, but the windows had no mosquito nets, so leaving them open was also not really an option
• Michael (9/5): Back to basics comfort and convenience - Back to basics convenience with high speed internet. Need to replenish our own trash bags rather than have them supplied.
• Elizabeth (10/5): Exceptional - We really liked to be there, it was a great gift to find it. The balcony view is just incredible, you can't get enough, there are birds every morning to watch and iguanas. The studio is super close (walking distance) to the best beach (Southwest) where you can eat delicious food at El niño divino. Also 4 min drive (we had a motorcycle) there's a supermarket and dive shops. The studio has everything you need to have a comfortable and cozy stay. The hostess is very kind and helpful, she is an incredible person that cares for the environment and community. Thank you Gabriela!
• Joe (10/5): Paradise personified - We cannot overstate how much we enjoyed our 3 day stay here. Gabriella looked after us very well, Checking us in at the expected time. The studio has air-conditioning, a balcony, a great shower, a fully equipped kitchenette, and is a five minute walk from South West Bay, alongside a 10 minute walk from the supermarket. The accommodation overlooks the sea, and you can go to sleep to the sound of the ocean at night. The bed was very comfy, had good quality linen. It was clean, and exactly what you would want for a couple of days in paradise. A mosquito net is provided, and hangs over the bed to still allow ample space. We will be back. That we had to leave and fly back to the mainland.

• Veronica (9/5): Excellent stay with beautiful sunset, iguanas on the tree and attentive host! Everything you need in the island. - The location was not too far from Southwest Beach. Gabriella was such an attentive host and helped us with so much to get better situated in the island like a contact for a scooter and laundry. It was quiet and even had a residential cat that we grew fond of. Some things may have needed a little more cleaning.

The studio is small but well designed for two people and very clean, very quiet with nice sea view. nice big bathroom and the AC works very well. the kitchen is well equipped with a big fridge Gabriella is very friendly and helpful bear in mind the bed is a standard double might be a bit tight for some

• Anonymous (10/5): In sum, Junto al Mar is a fabulous place to stay on the island!! - We loved our stay at Junto al Mar! Gabriela and her daughter were excellent hosts. They we kind and attentive to our needs. Plus, Gabriela is a documentary film maker and shared some of her beautiful work with us. The apartment was clean, bright, and has a beautiful west-facing terrace gazing over the sea. The hammock was a treat every afternoon, and the simple kitchen allowed us to stock up on groceries and cook many of our own meals. After spending a week on the island, we believe that we had the best spot of all. Junto al Mar is walking distance from Freshwater Bay where you can find groceries and mototaxis. Ten minutes in the other direction is Southwest Bay, a dreamy beach with a few mellow beach bars and an excellent restaurant. Sirius Dive School is at the end of the beach and we highly recommend their services.
