Guest Reviews
- Christine (7/5): Nice - Just perfect for a weekend away with family, including young children, who enjoyed seeing sheep, cows and horses. Sheets were highly perfumed from some washing powder... sounds weird, but very over powering.
- Georgia (7/5): - We loved the location and being amongst nature! Very close by to Maleny for things to do. Great walk to the creek for the dogs to swim.
The house was so well equipped in the kitchen with everything you need.
Great to sit on the deck area and bbq.
The shower, beds, bedding and towels were really clean and having board games for our son to play was a great bonus. While I understand that this is a farm/cabin the cabin really does need a good clean through and not just a surface clean for the next guests coming to stay. Lots of dust and cobwebs inside.
- Janetta (8/5): Peaceful country oasis. - Beautiful views and peaceful area. It was wonderful waking up to the birds singing. It is the perfect escape from the busy urban life we lead. A great location to de-stress. The home has everything we needed for the stay. No streaming services available on the tv.
- Carolyn (10/5): Excellent country escape. - A very well fitted out country escape. The owners were very helpful with our queries. So many things that we didn't even know we needed were supplied.
- Nerida (10/5): Perfect bliss - It was perfect. It is easy to find and has good parking for two vehicles. We didn’t take our dogs but wish we had. The area is lovely. You feel like you are in the middle of nowhere but there are cafes & shops close by in Peachester & Beerwah. If you want peace & quiet and beautiful nature this is exactly what you are looking for. The communication with the owner was excellent, very prompt & super helpful. I really felt they strive to ensure our stay is comfortable and enjoyable. We will definitely be back. Nothing, it is perfect.
- Samantha (9/5): - The location of the property, animals in surrounding properties. Walking tracks on the neighbouring property. The kids loved the outdoors bath and fire pit. Loads of exploring to be done. We would return just to explore more walking tracks. Items in the cupboards ie utensils and cups etc, needed to be washed before using. Some still have food stuck to them. Very dusty, but could be that way if no one had stayed in a while and was cleaned months prior. We gave the place a vacuum when when arrived, again, just think maybe needs a spruce up before guests arrive if it hasn't been cleaned in a few months. This is just considered to happen as a guest, who has paid a lot of money to stay. I won't share the photos we have, but just a general wipe over of things and removal of mould in sinks and in the water jugs in the fridge.
Lovely spot, needs better cleaners for inside. Would possibly return, we would just have to clean inside before using anything.

- Monique (10/5): A modest cottage on a beautiful piece of land! - This was a lovely, modest cottage. It is on a beatiful piece of land that feels secluded and lush. We really enjoyed the fire place and proximity to farm animals. The cottage had everything we needed for a weekend away.
The host was very responsive and helpful.
- Lois (10/5): Perfect relaxation in a gorgeous unplugged setting. - The property was neat, tidy and comfortable. The big deck was wonderful in the afternoon and the surrounding landscape is gorgeous.
- Dana-marie (10/5): Exceptional - The wildlife sounds were stunning. The air crisp and fresh and the fireplace warm and cosy. Was a great getaway from the busy city. 👌
- Coen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ryan (10/5): We had an amazing, relaxing getaway, unwinding in the beautiful rolling hills. - Beautiful location, nice big deck for spending time relaxing, friendly cows from a nearby farm coming to visit, outdoor bath on the deck in an amazing setting, and a big (mostly) enclosed yard for our dog to chase her ball and have the time of her life! Also great being away from reception to disconnect from the world but having access to WiFi if needed.
- Dianne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alexandra (10/5): Magical place in sunny coast hinterland - Beautiful property, a perfect city escape with everything you might need including lots of infoor and outdoor space, a firepit, and no one around. The owner was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed.
- Michelle (9/5): Had a wonderful weekend, couldn’t fault the accommodation, it had everything we needed - The location was perfect and we went on a long nature walk through the forest. We made s’mores on the fire pit and i cooked up a huge roast in the well equipped kitchen. Could have done with a small heater in the outside bedroom as it was so cold the sheets were damp
- John (10/5): Eucalyptus Escape Excellence - Absolutely beautiful location, lovely comfortable accommodation with all the amenities you could possibly need. The owners are really nice people who went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our stay and even went to the trouble of spending nearly an hour on the road to deliver keys when we locked ourselves out. This is without a doubt the best short term rental we have ever stayed at. It was really hard to leave and our next stay will be longer. It's so conveniently located with multiple local towns and attractions within 15 mins. The privacy, beauty, peace and quiet and tranquillity are second to none, yet you are handy to everything you could possibly need. The scenery is superb and the bushwalking right at the doorstep is brilliant. I cannot speak highly enough of Eucalyptus Escape and look forward to returning for a longer stay next time. Thank you Eucalyptus Escape for a superb family weekend that we will never forget. We even got to take our family dog so that was the icing on the cake. We didn't like having to leave. Unfortunately work and life commitments forced us to limit our stay to a weekend. A really hard place to leave indeed.
