• Colin (1/5): - u cant living your own house when your guests come in. you respect any guests and leave them. you need to move another unit or side dont let social with any guests. my sister owner chalets for guests but she living her own house side not like Wendy. my sister and her husband very cleaned up in the all chalets, very kind, offer and understanding any guests what guests needed. i love them is best job and keep cleaned up and perfectly not like her. kitchen, laundry very dirty and bed and towel no change even long staying. she is control any guests and not give any guests required. she must keep cleaning all rooms if she want money from guests. she just know that she just sitting on the computer everyday. NO TV, Heating that property not provided. she is so stingy and heartless. you can see this property very dirty and messy in the kitchen when guests come in. she is no respect any guests what we needed. you put fake information and old photos in the website via booking.com that look great but no exactly.

• Jason (3/5): lacking Hygiene in all sleeping and leisure areas. - The location was good. nice size apartment. However the owner is conning people in regards with cleaning. there are no cleaners. the sheets, bed and especially the couch are positively gross. not been cleaned or washed ever, it felt. we were scrounging around for clean sheets and they were hard to find in the apartment. kitchen was tidy but we washed allitems again for fear of themnot being cleaned well. They are not honest people

• Michael (8/5): Need a car to get there reasonable price for Adelaide - Comfortable bed quiet at night Description says it’s an apartment it’s actually a room in the owner’s house. The fan in the room didn’t work. It says it has the air-conditioning but it’s a central air-conditioning. There is not one for the room. They have a nice bathroom with a big bathtub, but they don’t have enough hot water to fill the bathtub.

• Jacqui (8/5): Adelaide trip - Beautiful home and great host. Jacky welcomed me, gave me all information I needed and privacy. My little dog was also welcome to stay. The room i stayed in is not in the pictures advertised. Only issue was the bed was hard.

Very clean home and to be able to bring our pet puppy was appreciated We weren’t sure if we were sharing or had the home to ourselves. A bit more communication would help. Access to the air con for hot nights would have been good. The fan helped but it was still a bit stuffy in the sunroom

This accomodation is effectively one upstairs bedroom within a large family home. Was asked to remove shoes when entering. Big time waster of repetitively changing footwear every time I went through the front door. Unable to lock door, no way to secure my belongings. Insecure street parking only, dark street because the trees blocked light from the street lights. Needed to ask for toilet paper.
• Sheryl (3/5): Even though the room meet our needs cost and location wise I do feel that the description needs to be changed - The description of the premises was no where what it was . No where in the description does it state that the owner lives on the premises IT WAS UNCOMFORTABLE there was a major language barrier also. The cupboards and fridge in the kitchen was full of the families food. My husband and myself took our own food to cook but felt very uncomfortable to cook as the owner was sitting at the dining table on her computer. The door of our bedroom didn’t stay closed it also had no lock on it as would be expected in a shared house we had to place our bag behind it when we went to bed. The outdoor area was very unkept and the sink had dishes and a half eaten apple on it.there was also a cat on the premises
• Christine (1/5): Bloody awful. - Nothing. It was pitiful. I'm amazed you would have anything to do with it. Everything. Necessary lights don't work, no soap in bathroom, shared bathroom with other guests and family in their home.
• Shuang (2/5): It’s not appropriate for living - This room and the facilities were very dirty, with dust everywhere — the kind that builds up when something hasn’t been cleaned for a long time. There were food crumbs and leaves on the carpet. The pillows and quilt had an unpleasant odor. The table and mirror were covered with stains. The bathroom is shared with another person, which was not mentioned at all in the room description. Also, the window doesn’t close properly, and if it’s not shut tightly, the wind makes a lot of noise. There were also frequent noises from the street at night. I do not recommend this place at all.

• Mark (10/5): Exceptional - The very helpful owners welcomed myself and my 7.5 month old Golden Retriever. It was a quiet stay and I appreciated a well needed rest. The nearby parks were great and we enjoyed several bush walks and lookouts in the Adelaide Hills, a short drive away. Thank you Wendy and Jacky

• Katrina (6/5): Great value if just looking for a room. - Quiet, comfortable bed, good Thai place around the corner. Quick responses from host. No hot water in basin of bathroom. Had to have shower all the way to hot to get warm shower. The title is Sun room however there’s little sun in the room. Host was always lovely and polite however always felt as though I was intruding. Description suggests use of washing machine and kitchen however was told could only use washing machine once without being charged extra even though I brought my own sachets. Says air con but I needed to ask to turn on as it was so hot in the bedroom in the afternoon even with fan. Certainly didn’t feel I could cook and sit down anywhere to eat so bought dinner and lunches each day.

• Steven (4/5): Overall disappointing as I felt uncomfortable and something of an intruder during my stay. - The location was suitable for my needs. The booking .com listing is misleading, it didn't state that the owners lived at the property and I felt VERY uncomfortable and an intruder using their stuff and facilities, therefore no cooking (and no food in the room) so everything was eat out, even a morning coffee. There was a language barrier (English is the only language that I speak) that made things (on my part) very difficult. House rules such as no shoes were only explained 3 days into the stay not when you first arrive. I was there for 11 days and not offered any change of linen, but again feeling uncomfortable to ask. Available parking is listed in the bookings .com site but it didn't state that it's on street parking on a narrow city street which is unnerving with a hire car and IF something happens $$.

• Thilina (9/5): Superb - The hosts were great, the room was nice and the location was quite and secure. There was a wardrobe and full sized mirrors. They had a work desk so if you had to get some work done it would have been easy. Extra towels and a throw was provided. Shared bathroom was large and very well equipped. Ideal short stay for a solo traveller. I was in one room but cannot comment on the other room/rooms.

It’s close to everything you need, yet it offers a quiet and relaxed environment, ideal for those seeking comfort without the hustle and bustle of downtown.
