Guest Reviews
- Rebecca (7/5): -
- Lydia (9/5): A warm and comfortable stay - The annex is clean and modernly decorated. The bed was very comfortable and the underfloor heating warms the place up quickly.
The coffee machine was great and the kitchen has all the basic essentials you need for your stay.
The welcome book was useful.
There's a nice little terrace outside the property overlooking a stream and gardens.
A short walk to local pubs and cafes so the location was great. It's also a great place to stay and explore Cornwall.
We had a very pleasant stay here and the property offers everything you need. The parking area needs a revamp. It was dark when we arrived and the parking space is awkward to park in which would of been ok if it was tidier and easier to see.
There was some wood, ladders, taupulin, bags and a wheelie bin in the parking area making it difficult to park.
It took us a while to park as we didn't want to hit anything. The whole area just needs a tidy up to make it easier and more welcoming.
There is also no lighting in the parking area or along the path so a torch is needed. Some lights would make a big difference.
Also a property sign by the parking space would also really help so if you arrive in the dark, you can see that your in the right place.
The shower was not very hot or powerful and theres nowhere in the bathroom to hang towels.
- Zoe (10/5): -
- Frances (9/5): - Decor, internal layout and space, as well as small outdoor seating area. A nicely proportioned space for two.
- Debra (9/5): Unfortunately my stay was cut short but I would stay here again. - The property is comfortable and in a good location for exploring the area. Unfortunately a fault with the boiler meant I had to move after a couple of nights to another property in the area which was found straight away for me.
- Martin (9/5): - Quiet street location. Zero passing traffic
- Furtuna (8/5): -
- Steffan (8/5): -
- Desmond (9/5): - All good. We couldn't find cutlery.
- Elizabeth (9/5): Modern, comfortable and light rooms. - Great location. Comfortable accommodation. Well appointed. Traffic noise at night/early morning as close to the main road into Newlyn.
- John (10/5): Brilliant! - Location was ideal
Loved Newlyn and surrounding area including St Ives Mousehole etc Ideal ! Wish we could have stayed longer.
- Andrew (8/5): Great, relaxing stay. - Excellent location. Light, bright, modern and clean in lovely garden. Car parking. Well equipped. Heating glitch meant no heating on first evening. The heating should be put on prior to arrival to test that it works and to warm the property, especially if it takes a while to heat up.
- Emma (10/5): Perfect stay! - Brilliant location, great kitchen for eating in, close enough to leave the car and walk into Newlyn and very close to restaurants/pubs/fish and chips if you wanted to eat out, I visited for a course at Newlyn School of Art and this was just a 10/15min walk away,
- Julia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Luca (10/5): Exceptional - The tropicali garden and the coffee machine
- Susan (10/5): Would definitely stay there again - Very modern, clean and comfortable in an excellent location
- Andrew (10/5): Beautiful place in superb location - Very clean, bright and modern
- Anonymous (9/5): Lovely place to stay, would recommend. - It was nicely decorated, comfortable and well equipped. Everything was very clean. I was welcomed by the owner who helped me with my luggage. Good location (albeit along a narrow road). Staying for a week I would have liked a washing machine.
- Marie (10/5): Exceptional - The cleaniness, well situated for me to get out and about, layout and really comfortable š Nothing
- James (8/5): Very good -
- Love (10/5): We will 100000% be coming back ! What a beautiful place to stay ! - Property decor was amazing !! Looked even better than the pictures and genuinely felt like our little home . We looked forward to coming back to the annex after a day out!
- Amy (10/5): Exceptional - The location was great. We didn't necessarily realise what a cute hub Newlyn was, but there was plenty to do in the immediate area, and getting to other nearby villages/towns was super easy.
We happened to arrive at the property when the owners were around, so they let us in and checked we were good with the facilities before leaving us to it.
The road to the property, specifically where you park, was narrow, but no more narrow than any other Cornish road. Slow and steady got us into the parking area safely and without any scrapes or dents on our estate car.
- Lorraine (10/5): It was just gorgeous, the location, the property & the owners were lovely people. - The location N/A
- Paul (8/5): We had a great time and loved our time away. - Bed was too small and soft for my wife and I, but that could be a personal thing.
- Alison (10/5): hidden gem that Iād happily move into full time! - absolutely beautiful quaint cottage in a beautiful spot. owners have made it gorgeous for their guests. cannot rate it high enough and would definitely recommend to friends and family alike. absolutely nothing!
- Russell (10/5): Gorgeous venue in a lovely location - well recommended. - We liked everything about this lovely place - the apartment/cottage itself, it's surroundings & location and the service from the Managers on a couple of queries was responsive & exemplary. Nothing at all, all was great.
- Claudia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anne (6/5): Rather over-priced. - Everything in good order, the bed was very comfortable. Very uncomfortable sofa. Lack of instructions on how to use the smart TV. No lighting by steps at the end of the path.
- Dafydd (10/5): Cosy stay in a well presented apartment right by the SEA! - Really nice stay guys, place is super warm and cosy. Everything you would need in Newlyn. A wee bit more kitchen equipment, couple more knives (filleting as we're by the sea?) such a lush kitchen though
- Lily (8/5): Very good - Beautiful location and property. Well equipped with lovely little touches like cornish treats left. Only issue for us was that we found the bed and sofa uncomfortable but overall it was a really wonderful place to stay. Bed and sofa not very comfy.
