• Gérard (10/5): Notre charmante hôtesse et sa très souriante équipe ont toujours été aux petits soins pour nous! - Un hôtel parfaitement adapté aux calme et à l'intimité recherchés, avec cette vue si agréable sur l'océan et les pirogues des pêcheurs que ce soit depuis la large baie vitrée de la chambre, sa terrasse, ou depuis celle du restaurant. Une chambre vraiment spacieuse et aménagée avec beaucoup de goût, mêlant le contemporain au local. Des plats succulents absolument bien servis. Il faudrait être de mauvaise fois pour trouver quelque chose à critiquer, trop heureux de notre séjour!

Stylish, beautifully decorated and good quality facilities including building itself, furniture, mattress (which is a problem is many island hotels) , flooring, swimming pool. Very nice and friendly staff is attentive to every detail. This is the most important. They do their best. The hotel restaurant is another hightlight. We felt a pity that stayed only 2 overnights and were not able to try everything from the menu. The Chef is master, and it became evident during breakfast and dinner times, when the restaurant was occupied by both hotel guests and external visitors. Veggy and meat options are of fantactic taste and no compromise to the quality. Good wine list. Pricewise the food and drinks were almost nothing comparing to European or Middle East hotels. Regardless the size of the hotel, it was enough space for everyone. The rooms are very cozy, very clean and fresh. Qutstanding quality of supplies like shampoo, coconut body lotion, bath salt. The hotel is a hidden gem in this area and not only. The Jozani park with lovely red colubus species is not far. Also recommded visiting for animal lovers. On our arrival we had a very nice surprise as upgrade ftom budget room to the best one, and this gesture definitely made our holidays up.

Van het eerste moment tot het afscheid word je hier echt in de watten gelegd. Niet alleen door Madelina, maar door het hele team. Iedereen is even vriendelijk, attent en oprecht. Zelfs de huispoes zorgde voor extra sfeer en entertainment. We verbleven in twee hotels op Zanzibar, maar Passion Boutique stak er met kop en schouders bovenuit. Een dikke pluim voor jullie allemaal, en dankjewel om van ons verblijf een ervaring te maken die we nog lang gaan koesteren.

• Stéphane (10/5): Fabulous, clean, friendly and tranquil! - The staff (Sylvester, Enzy and Anthon) and manager (Madelina) are kind, attentive and super sweet. Always a welcome smile and an attentive gesture. The rooms are beautiful, detailed and comfortable and on top of that smell great! The facilities are fabulous and clean at all times. The restaurant is right on the beach and had delicious food and their number one priority is that you enjoy, they never said NO to any of our request for little changes on the menu, anything was possible. They are extremely helpful in a non evasive way, it’s all in the detail. When I dropped my earring in the basin they did not stop till they got it out of the drain. The only negative is that you never wat to leave. There is nothing bad to say.

She runs a very tight ship and it shows. Everything is spotless and your wish is her command. Highly recommend. Wifi was a bit weak but it is in a remote site so you can’t expect miracles.

• Sandrine (9/5): Un boutique‑hôtel charmant, sublimé par la douceur et la disponibilité de la propriétaire. - Un très joli hôtel de 8 chambres, calme, propre et décoré avec beaucoup de goût. Mais ce qui rend ce lieu vraiment spécial, c’est surtout la gentillesse incroyable de la propriétaire, une personne d’une générosité rare, toujours prête à tout pour aider. Elle s’est pliée en quatre pour nous : elle nous a commandé 25 kg de riz pour que nous puissions les distribuer dans le village, et lorsque nous n’avons pas trouvé la boutique de savons dont elle nous avait parlé, elle a carrément fait venir les savons directement à l’hôtel. Une attention qui nous a profondément touchés. Son équipe, tout aussi adorable, contribue à créer une ambiance chaleureuse et authentique. Nous y avons très bien mangé : des plats délicieux, préparés avec amour, et de très bons cocktails, appréciés aussi bien par les voyageurs de l’hôtel que par ceux des établissements voisins. La propreté est irréprochable, le cadre est paisible et vraiment agréable. Seul petit bémol, la piscine peu exposée au soleil, mais ce n’est qu’un détail au regard de tout ce que l’hôtel offre. Madalina made our stay even more special. They looked after us so well. Passion was the best hotel we stayed in Zanzibar we extremely recommend it. We can’t say thank you enough. They made our honeymoon unforgettable. We were there for Valentine’s Day and they organised a romantic dinner by the beach for the guests, we loved it. 🥰 Nothing to complain about the hotel. The beach has some seaweeds but the hotel is a must stay.

Скорее всего это будут ваши лучшие эмоции и уровень комфорта! В ресторане готовят вкусно, от души, с любовью. Это так важно и этого не найти на Занзибаре, поверьте. У завтрака нет четкого времени, вас накормят тогда, когда вы выспитесь и спуститесь в их атмосферный ресторанчик. Это так здорово! Это и есть отдых! Убираются чисто, в номере приятный аромат, всегда есть вода, чистые стаканы. Если чего-то не хватает, персонал поможет во всём. В этом отеле рады гостям. Каждый для них - это праздник. Вами дорожат и готовы сделать дни в отеле наслаждением. Вы всегда это чувствуете и это большое человеческое достоинство. Больше не острове мы нигде такого не нашли. В дорогу нас провожал персонал, дали воду, подарили именной подарок. Всё это украшает путешествие! Лучший отель на острове, потому что много души, любви и радости встречать гостей. Счастье, если туристы будут знать Занзибар и вот таким. Единственное, что может не оправдать ожидания - это океан. Но это никто не скрывает, что Джамбиани не место для белоснежных песков и вечного идеального прибоя. Это место для прогулок, для книг, для коктейля вечером в лучах уходящего дня, для знакомства с отливами и необыкновенным миром океана, который каждый день показывает что-то новое.

We ate all meals at the hotel because the quality and variation was great. The area both inside and outside the hotel property is fantastic, with the beach just outside the door step. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone going to Zanzibar! Hope to be back here one day😍

• Alexandra (10/5): Perfect boutique hotel with amazing staff in great location - The property was beautiful, stunning design and right on the beach. Staff were wonderful, particularly Madelina who organised reservations, yoga, taxis etc- so relaxing not having to think about organising anything. It was my birthday whilst we were there and she arranging a delicious cake and lovely room decorations. The food and drinks were great- no time restraints around breakfast was a nice touch. Air con in rooms worked well and there was plenty of hot water- beds were very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again and Jambiani was a good base to explore the island. Nothing - they have thought of everything!

The staff are out of the world, especially the manager Madalina who truly went out of her way to make every detail special. The massage in the room was perhaps the best we ever got. The room itself was gorgeous and tastefully done with a lot of attention to fine details (even an ice maker in the room!). The restaurant served brilliant food, location is enviable, pool is great, and the entire vibe made us so so happy. Don't think twice in booking a long stay here! • Paul (10/5): Highly recommended - We had a brilliant stay at Passion Boutique Hotel. The room was lovely with a beautiful sea view, the infinity pool was gorgeous and the whole place felt peaceful, clean, and very well looked after. Breakfast had loads of choice and was delicious. We ate at the hotel restaurant almost every night and the food was consistently excellent, especially the nightly specials. Rooftop yoga was amazing with the sea breeze and views, and we also had a couple’s massage up there which was one of the best massages I’ve ever had. The evening entertainment was in the gardens and on the beach, including a very talented local group and even acrobatics. The standout was Madalina, the manageress, who was genuinely exceptional. She went above and beyond, anticipated what we needed, and personally organised tours and experiences for us with so much care. She also has a brilliant team behind her. Tip: The Rock Restaurant is worth visiting for the location and a sunset drink, but we found the food disappointing. As someone who has stayed in many hotels worldwide, I would highly recommend Passion Boutique Hotel. We would absolutely return. Water was very warm.

Le service et les attentions personnalisées sont à un niveau exceptionnel que nous n'avons jamais rencontré même dans les Relais et Châteaux. Ensuite, la chambre 8 était magnifique (vue, confort). La cuisine était délicieuse, variée, avec des adaptations possibles sur quasiment tous les plats pour les régimes sans gluten et sans produits laitiers. Ils servent non stop de 7h30 à 22h. Nous y avons finalement mangé tous les soirs ! Et il y avait également des cours de yoga ou une soirée avec un orchestre très sympa. Sans parler des conseils et de la prise en charge de l'organisation pour les excursions. Bref une adresse incomparable pour se détendre. Merci à toute l'équipe pour ce magnifique séjour 🤩🙏 Patricia et Jean-Stephane Éventuellement, en fonction des attentes de chacun, on pourrait regretter : - des rangements limités, mais on avait emmené trop de vêtements par rapport à ce dont on a réellement besoin sous ces climats... - une plage avec beaucoup d'algues et une mer assez trouble au moment où nous y étions. Et la mer se retire loin à marée basse. Par contre cela permet d'accéder à pied (attention aux ousins, chaussures recommandées) à un banc de sable avec une eau turquoise d'une transparence extraordinaire sur lequel nous avons passé des heures.

The hotel is small but beautifully decorated, everything is extremely well maintained, and the cleanliness is impeccable both inside and outside. My room had a lovely balcony with chairs overlooking the ocean and the pool. There is also a rooftop with comfortable sofas where you can admire the whole beach. All the staff are professional, friendly, polite, helpful and truly attentive — but Laura, the Manager, was something extraordinary. She is always looking after every guest, incredibly sweet, and she made my stay and my birthday absolutely unforgettable with so many thoughtful gestures. I don’t think I’ve ever felt so spoiled (in a good way). I have no words to express my gratitude. Everything we ordered was delicious — I had the best grilled lobster of my life, and the soups are divine. The beach is beautiful, long, with white sand and very warm water. Along the shore there are a few charming bars with fun décor. At the end of the day, locals gather on the beach to play football, which is lovely to watch, and you also see many traditional boats used for fishing and tours. It’s a very safe area. I recommend this place without hesitation — 5 stars!** There was absolutely nothing I didn’t like — everything was perfect, and I only have wonderful things to say.

Besonders erwähnen möchten wir Managerin Madalena – man spürt sofort, dass sie mit ganzem Herzen dabei ist. Immer ein Lächeln im Gesicht, stets zuvorkommend und sie hat uns wirklich jeden Wunsch erfüllt. Als Honeymoon-Paar bekamen wir sogar ein liebevoll vorbereitetes Dinner – solche kleinen Gesten haben den Aufenthalt einfach perfekt gemacht! Die Frühstückskarte ein Traum :) Auch das Abendessen lässt keine Wünsche offen und war jeden Tag vorzüglich! Die Anlage ist wunderschön, extrem sauber und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Rooftop Liegefläche, Strandliegen, Strandbetten, Bibliothek mit verschiedensten Büchern in unterschiedlichen Sprachen, Spiele - alles vorhanden und top gepflegt. Ich kann es kaum in Worte fassen, wie schön dieses Erlebnis gewesen ist. Und mit bestem Wissen und Gewissen dieses Hotel rund um das gesamte Personal, welches hervorragendes leistet, weiterempfehlen.

From the early communications through to the stay, Laura was wonderful in keeping on top of everything. The location is excellent, the rooms were great and the food was extremely good (we usually eat at a variety of places but were more than happy to have all our meals in house). The approach to breakfast so refreshing - with great flexibility on times and choose whatever you wished. Never felt overrun with people and lovely set up with pool, deck chairs, hammocks etc. Overall, definitely one our best stays. Nothing to dislike at all. We had a few bits of feedback on things in the room which Laura took on board so willingly but it was a largely faultless stay.

For a small boutique hotel the selection was amazing and we loved everything we ate (we stayed for 4 days and ate every meal but one at the hotel because it was so good). There were daily specials which we had several of. The staff were all so lovely and very helpful, we felt very welcome. There were lots of small details that made the stay easy and special. They set up a romantic meal in the garden for our honeymoon, organised a sailing/snorkeling trip, and gave advice about places to go etc.. The location is idyllic. We went into Paje one day but we were happy we chose the quieter Jambiani. The bed was comfy and the room was nicely done. Only thing was the swimming pool did stain our swimming costumes a bit. The pool was definitely clean but maybe people’s sun creams had reacted or the balance of chemicals wasn’t quite right. We spent most of our time in the sea anyway.

Das Essen hat jeden Tag super geschmeckt und es gab täglich Specials auf der Karte. Auch das Frühstück war köstlich - immer frische Früchte und Säfte. Der Pool liegt traumhaft und der Sand ist fast so fein wie auf den Malediven! Die Hotel-Managerin liest einem jeden Wunsch von den Lippen ab und ist auf eine lockere, zuvorkommende Art perfekt für diesen Beruf. Auch das Personal ist super zuvorkommend auf eine sympathische, nicht aufdringliche Art. Wir durften einen gratis Ausflug mit einem Dhow Boot machen - sehr tolles Erlebnis! Der Strandabschnitt ist schön ruhig und man kann perfekt entspannen. Dieses Hotel ist perfekt!

Wir haben für 2 Nächte sogar ein Upgrade erhalten ohne Zuzahlung. Das Essen ist wirklich außergewöhnlich lecker und nirgends in Sansibar haben wir so gut gegessen wie hier. Die Sauberkeit in diesem Hotel ist eine 10/10. Es wird zu jeder Tageszeit geputzt und auf alles geachtet. Das Personal super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Hotelmanagerin weiß über alles Bescheid, ist jederzeit ansprechbar und einfach toll. Ich kann und werde dieses Hotel jedem weiterempfehlen der nach Sansibar reisen will und komme definitiv selber auch wieder.

We were welcomed very friendly and shown around by Madalina (who is an exceptional manager). Our room was big, bright, beautifully decorated and smelled amazing. Cleaning was done every day when we were out - no dnd sign was necessary. There is even free room service if you need anything. The food is one of the big highlights - breakfast can be taken at any time of the day and they will make you everything you request, even things that are not on the menu. In general, the kitchen is amazing and even considering german standards the food is outstanding and at a fair price! There is a consistent and tasteful boho vibe throughout the hotel with small details everywhere, there are day beds and shade to relax. The staff were genuinely kind, never pushy and were always checking in if everything was okay. Lastly, we celebrated our anniversary and the staff gave everything to make it a perfect day - thank you for the efforts again!

Durch die insgesamt nur 8 Zimmer ist die Atmosphäre sehr familiär. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind groß, sauber und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, sodass man sich sofort wohlfühlt. Die Lage direkt am Meer ist traumhaft – ob am Pool oder im Garten mit Liegen, Sunbeds und Hängemätte, überall kann man perfekt entspannen und den Blick auf den Indischen Ozean genießen. Auch das Restaurant hat uns begeistert: das Essen war frisch, abwechslungsreich und auf sehr hohem Niveau. Danke auch für den leckeren Kuchen zum Geburtstag! Wir wären gerne noch länger geblieben ...

Hele mooie ruime kamers die echt de Afrikaanse sfeer in onze kamer bracht met een geweldige uitzicht. Het eten was echt heerlijk! Je hoeft echt niet elders op zoek te gaan naar een lunch en diner. Kwaliteit staat voor hun hoog in het vaandel en je kan het ook zeker een exclusief hotel noemen die met 8 kamers alle aandacht voor zijn gasten heeft! We hebben ons elke dag meer dan speciaal gevoelt en zijn echt blij, dat we voor de Passion family hebben gekozen! Speciale verzoeken werden gehoneerd, alsof het een normale vraag was. Dat ik het niet meer dan een 10 kan geven😅
