Guest Reviews
- Ellie (10/5): -
- Ellie (10/5): - Location. Close to town pubs, close to the park and canal.comfy beds.
- Joanne (8/5): Spacious clean house - Spacious house, easy to find and park. Good size kitchen, living room for 4/5 adults. Very reasonable price Bathroom door doesn’t have a lock, and not enough mirrors or a full length one for getting ready to go to a wedding.
- Electrotechnical (10/5): great place to stay and great host - Everything was great thank you not applicable
- Karen (9/5): - The back garden needs a fence or gate to make it dog proof. The back garden connects to front so had to improvise a makeshift fence with pallet and the bin.i would stay again though . Not secure back garden
- Rhian (9/5): Lovely property. Great location. Plenty to see and do. - It was very clean. Lovely property lovely location. Only criticism is that a hoover was not available.
- Karen (8/5): Nice, practical and welcoming - It was nice to have basic food as a welcome, to be able to make coffee and toast when arrived.
It was clean and tidy and there was a lovely place to sit in the garden The beds were quite uncomfortable but not awful
- jayne (9/5): Lovely stay 💕 - We stayed here for 2 ngts as we had a family wedding at Combermere Abbey. The location was perfect and only cost our pre booked taxi £20 to the venue.
The house was immaculately clean and very comfortable.
Callum was reachable when needed and also left us bread, milk, butter and condiments which we were very grateful for after our long drive. There was everything you needed and more.
Definitely would stay there again. We didn't dislike anything.
Only thing i would say is that there was 1 mirror in the whole of upstairs. So it was a bit frustrating when we were all trying to get ready for the wedding.
Definitely would recommend to get a long size mirror and mirror in each room.
- Natalie (10/5): My children loved staying at this house, it was ideal and allowed them all to have their own space during our trip. - Spacious, very clean and well equipped. Very comfortable. Nothing, it was perfect.
- Laurence (8/5): Very good - Lovely house in a great location. Bathroom light didn't work, and couldn't properly close the bathroom door.
- Ian (9/5): Property has all you need for a nice stay and the owner is very accommodating. - Well maintained, clean and spacious property. Owner replied to any questions promptly and also left some milk, bread, butter and Jam for us which was a nice touch. Coffee, tea and sugar also available. Good location with easy access to many areas of interest, including north wales and Chester. Would highly recommend and we will be using this property again. Could do with a slip mat when taking a shower.
- Anika (10/5): Fantastic stay, very clean and well-appointed. Great communication with host, prompt and friendly. -
- Ann (10/5): Exceptional - The keys were in a key safe and the description of where were sent to me prior to the day of arrival and along with a key code Only not having a teapot - I drink gallons of tea and prefer a teapot and not a teabag dunked in the cup - bought one locally and left it for future people!!
- Chris (10/5): Lovely little house, nice area, clean and great location. Excellent hosts. - We really appreciated the little touches of bread, milk and spreads. Large tv with good access to channels. Lack of power in the shower. Thin curtains let lots of light in when shut.
- Daniel (8/5): Very good -
- Claire (9/5): Superb - Property was super clean and some nice bits were left (bread, milk, butter, chocolate) which was appreciated. We had a nice stay. Thank you
- Rich (9/5): Superb -
- Maureen (10/5): Exceptional - I found the property was in a very convenient position local to the town centre. Every thing in walking distance.
- Richard (8/5): Very good -
- Jodie (6/5): Nice area, house needs TLC though. - Nice area, close to Malpas P.Y.O Farm. Wasn't decorated to a high standard, there were wifi wires on the floor by the stairs that could easily trip you up. Also the single bedroom mirrored wardrobe collapsed on my 6 year old Nephew & locked him in the bedroom - it was very loose & the mirror doors kept sticking together from the beginning of our stay. The owner didn't seem to believe how it collapsed but it was falling apart from the start. No health & safety regulations met at all & no offer of a small refund as we nearly ended up in hospital with my Nephew or worse, I'm also 27 weeks pregnant - the worry of not being able to get my Nephew out of the room was really scary. We ended up leaving stuff in the cupboard with the stress of what happened on the day we were leaving, told the owner & there was no offer of sending it back to us.
- Anna (10/5): Exceptional - Great location. House was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. Garden was great but not fully enclosed which was not ideal for our dogs. The garden did look like it was undergoing work so maybe will be secure in future. We were able to use the bins to block the gap between the house and rest of the fence that wasn’t there and make it secure so not a huge issue.
- Carol (9/5): Lovely comfortable house very clean good for shopping places to visit not far away - Very clean and comfortable everything you needed they left us a nice welcome pack of milk bread butter jams eat cleaning products Good area for food shopping just a few minutes in the car We visited the Icecream Farm only took 30 minutes to get there WE WOULD OF LIKED A MORE SECURE GARDEN as there was no fence or garden gate and steps upto the lawn were loose we didn't think it was safe for our 6 year old granddaughter who had special needs There were alot of sharp knifes in the cutlery drawer I moved them higher up so little fingers could not reach them
- Rose (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was so clean and welcoming!
Received a message from the owner the night before with instructions and a warm welcome!
A fresh loaf of bread and milk was supplied which was an amazing touch! There was nothing to not like!
- Charmaine (10/5): Really enjoyed the property. Thank you so much. - Amazing property. Beautiful and clean. My toddler was happy there. Shower was great. Such a lovely homely feel. Owner is lovely too which also makes a difference x Only thing I’d say is no side gate, but not a problem if you don’t have a wild child.
- Maureen (10/5): Excellent, really enjoyed our stay. - The property was the perfect location for our stay in Whitchurch. Very clean and tidy, with everything needed for a perfect holiday. The host was very thoughtful, supplying all the things needed to make the holiday special.
- Gopal (7/5): Value for money, good location - Good location, nice little 3 bedroom house. Looks like few DIY pending, small bedroom cot creeks a lot and wobbly .. bathroom door not latching properly and no inside lock.. garden can be accessed from right side of the property - no barriers or door - left open. Phone cable running in the entrance of hall..
- Sam (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect
- Ellie (9/5): Ideal property for a home away from home stay. - This house was ideal for our stay. We stayed due to taking part in a triathlon and it had everything we needed. We were able to cook all our meals using the utilities provided.
The property was clear, provided towels, bread, milk, butter and jam (lovely touch). Check in / out was done with ease.
Would 100% recommend! Nothing.
- Beverley (10/5): Really good central location, would highly recommend - for persons taking pets please note garden is not enclosed. - Location was fantastic, facilities perfect with some well thought personal touches Not applicable
- Angela (8/5): Perfect for a family stay - The house is spacious and contains everything you need for a stay away from home. The owner had left us Milk, bread and condiments, meaning we didn't have go shopping for the morning. Th house was very clean with lots of room storage. Only a little niggle that the beds were a little creaky but didn't really bother us.
