- Simon (6/5): - it was simple. i couldent open a window, room was quite hot.
- Darran (7/5): - Good location No staff if you needed anyone in an emergency

- nchaz (8/5): Pleasant stay at Anson Hotel - We had a pleasant stay at Anson Hotel. Everything was as advertised. The room was on the smaller side but that's fine. There's communal kitchen for each floor so you 're not crammed with others. The room was also bright and despite being in the room that's looking over the bins it wasn't an issue. Kentish town and Tuffnel park are close so you have a lot to do in terms of cafes/pubs even if you don't want to go to central locations. There's not much. I would have liked our towels to be changed as we stayed 4 nights but I guess we could have asked them to. The only thing was that the room got a bit hot on hotter days. There is a fan supplied though.
- Debbie (8/5): Great reasonably priced hotel - Great location, clean, comfortable and a good price
- Campbell (8/5): Comfortable, conveniently located and very affordable! - Location is excellent for what we needed. Short walk to the underground, buses and local amenities. The bed was really comfortable, and the street very quiet considering it was London. The kitchen has mostly everything you could need and the ensuite was great. Particularly good shower pressure! The radiator in the ensuite did not turn off, despite there being a thermostat for the main room, so there was quite a loud noise from the pipes throughout the night.
- Joyce (1/5): No Good! Didn’t like it at all - Location. I didn’t like, everything was bad, hard to turn off the Heather, No AC, hard to contact the propriety owners, however they answered me as soon as they cool that was ok, no that bad, it was a tiny room, they gave me the room 1, located at -1 floor, with tiny stairs to go down and up with big luggages. So dangerous!
- Rocio (8/5): - La limpieza y la comodidad de la cama Parece más grande en la foto
- Ryan (10/5): - Felt secure with the locking system
- Cleo (10/5): -
- Georgina (8/5): A Well-Rounded Stay - Compared to other accommodations, it is affordable and also has a private bathroom. The kitchen was spotlessly clean and well equipped, offering coffee and tea, a washing machine, an iron, and shared storage space in cupboards and the fridge for each room. The room itself was generally fine; there was nothing that disappointed us, although the spaces were quite small. I had seen in previous reviews that the room is located in the basement, but for the duration of our stay this did not bother us. Even though there was no reception or on-site staff, communication with the hosts was very good and prompt. Overall, I believe this is a room that is especially convenient for short stays, as the location is very close to the metrо and the neighborhood is quiet.
- wilson (10/5): See you again - Very easy to find it was my first time using the property. I’ve never been to a Airbnb and no staff on site which was the first I was very impressed. I was also very impressed with the amount of security that you had in the building such as key code at the door as well key code is at the bedroom Also with the amount of CCTV around the building I have absolutely nothing nasty to say about the place. I was very happy.
- Lizzie (3/5): - Convenient check-in Advertised as a hotel but we had a suite that was below ground level with a view of some bins, there were also drilling sounds on the first night. General shared spaces could have been cleaner. Wouldn’t stay again or recommend.
- Robert (8/5): -
- Simon (8/5): Very good - Bathroom layout.
- Elize (10/5): Fab stay! Thank you. - The location was brilliant and tube was really accessible. Room 1 was fab and an amazing deal! Thank you so much. Nothing!
- Klaudia (10/5): -
- omar (9/5): Buena estadia en Londres - La cama era confortable y cumplía con lo básico el lugar para tener una buena estadía. No tiene ascensor para las valijas y nunca entendimos la calefacción , tampoco se esforzaron para explicarla bien.
- Nath (7/5): -
- su (9/5): -
- Spiga (8/5): One night stay - Room was clean, warm and cozy. Good location
- Pip (9/5): - No keys needed, all automated locks & keypads. Room was basic but exactly what was needed. Heating was great. Shared kitchens were a bit odd, never encountered that before. Less of a hotel & more like a really good hostel.
- Thomas (10/5): - Easy to access, clean and comfortable Bit small and some wear and tear
- Molly (10/5): - Clean and next to good high street with lots of nice restaurants and bars.
- Alison (8/5): -
- Elena (9/5): -
Garderobe
- Natalie (8/5): Value for money - Clean and spacious Quite far from nearest tube/bus to be walking in the dark at night. No glasses or cups in the room or kitchen for a glass of water at night
- Paul (8/5): Last stop - After traveling in the UK for a month, the shower won the gold medal 🏅
It was like a massage, so you didn't want to get out. It was great to have a washing machine. Not so much as didn't like but disappointed.
The first ever time in my travels, the TV had no chanells. I emailed the owner as was told there is no live TV, so you must sign in with your account. It's not good for oldies who just want something simple. The kitchen was big and clean, but a narrow counter and stools to sit on for eating would have been nice along with a basic TOASTER would be helpful.
- Paul (10/5): We only needed a room for one night and this exceeded expectations and was excellent value. Recommented it to friends al - Exactly as described, easy to gain access, clean and very comfortable bed! All was perfect
- Michaela (7/5): -
- Jasmine (9/5): Great - Lovely spacious room
- Megan (8/5): Good location, good price and clean. - Location was great for Camden Town and literally a 10 minute walk to the nearest high street which was full of shops and bars. PERFECT property to stay at for the 02 Kentish Forum Town. Guy on the intercom was super helpful and friendly. Room was clean and good space. Nice full length mirror. Easy to use code for front door and room door. Kitchen was nice and big and easy to use. Area felt very safe as well which is nice in London. Quiet streets and roads. My card payment didn't go through because my card payment had 'failed' even though I had enough money in the account. Had messages to say I needed to update it, which I did. Then on the day of going they sent a message to say the booking had been cancelled but we had just turned up at the hotel. I tried to ring them but it went to voicemail, so I had to call them on the intercom on the outside door. The guy was super helpful and we got it all sorted, but considering I was deciding whether to go and spend my money at another property I feel they should've contacted me more to sort the issue out before I arrived at the property. The sink hole also didn't work which was annoying for wanting to brush teeth and wash hands.

- Ausra (9/5): It’s a perfectly located clean little hotel with friendly and helpful staff - Love the area we lived in, with beautiful neighbourhood, was really peaceful and we felt safe at night. Also, the staff was supportive and helped with every question, and we value that a lot. There also was an iron in the shared kitchen if anybody needs to iron their clothes, which we find very thoughtful. The shared kitchen and corridors were always clean. The room had an AC that was working perfectly. There was no room maintenance that you may find in other hotels each morning, however, since my friend and I are tidy, we didn’t find any need for that. The front door lock didn’t open at our first night stay, other couple was also unable to open it, even though the code provided that we entered was correct. As a result, we needed to contact the owners with the provided emergency number. Afterwards, somehow we were able to enter the hotel, however, it was probably due to more force used the last time we tried to open the door, as the owners when on the line didn’t find a reason as for why the doors didn’t budge. Even though this scenario happened only once, each time we had little paranoia what if the door won’t open again.
- Philip (8/5): Perfect for a night or two. Clean and simple - Simple and very clean. Cooling fan in the cupboard and mini desk which are useful touches. Door entry was simple and work perfectly. No bedside light
- Uri (10/5): Lovely stay! Would always recommend. - You'd think that you'd hear a lot of noise from other guests based on other reviews but it really wasn't a big deal and lasted for seconds at most. People come in and out of their rooms, go figure. Nothing!
- Davis (10/5): Nice and good - The room clean and nice we like so much next we will book the same hotel Nothing everything is perfect and good
- Luana (7/5): Good for short stay but very basic - Good value for money. Non-contact check-in and check-out, with clear communication. There is a kitchen No possibility of leaving the suitcase with someone. The bedroom needs a side lamp, the main light is too bright. Bedroom could have an adapter.
- Emily (6/5): was still okay but wouldn’t stay there again, especially because of the mold - it was close to the station the room wasn’t really clean, the trash from the bin in the bathroom wasn’t taken out a single time, our towels were accumulating on the floor for a whole week. we asked if we needed to do anything for new towels and they said to just leave them, but having a bunch of towels on the floor for a whole week is unsanitary. furthermore, the cabinet beneath and above the sink was rusty and full of crumbs and dust. plus, the one beneath the sink was very wet and moldy. there were toilet paper rolls inside that smelled like mold as well and were wet.
- Edwin (8/5): I would come back for another stay - Location is excelent, close to a tube station and enough places to drink/eat. The kitchen facilities were adequate although I did not make much use of it. Only for tea ;) We had a fire alarm at 7am one morning, but that is not the fault of the property. I tried out the TV, but I could not get any channels. Not very important to me but others may find this a negative point.
- Despoina (7/5): Good -
- Leonard (7/5): Good -
- Jess (8/5): Very good -
- Rahaf (9/5): Superb -
- Emma (7/5): Disappointed - Messaged through booking.com prior to my stay but didn't receive a reply to my enquiry.
Arrived at 3pm, but hadn't received the door code, so couldn't get in. Tried to call, but you can't speak to anyone.
Booking.com says it's an apartment, but it's not, the kitchen is shared.
Sink plug didn't work.
Only one bedside table.
Woken at midnight by other guests unable to get into the building and making numerous phone calls outside the room with the security lights on.
Disappointing stay.
- Alister (8/5): Very good -
- Alex (10/5): Cosy, clean, comfortable and great value - Great location. Free parking outside at weekends. Kitchen is really handy. Rooms are small but comfortable and clean and great value. Stayed here 3 times and so much better than central London. Short walk to Tufnel Park tube Nothing to complain about
- Gerardo (7/5): Not happy …after 3 days the room need to be clean - I never see the breakfast In 3 days no one cleared the room
- Gaia (9/5): Superb - It was a pleasant stay. As described on the page here on Booking.
Very good cleaning and the atmosphere was fantastic. The quiet neighborhood and 10 minutes walk from the tube where you could reach the center of London in 15 minutes. they were available to answer all our requests. If I were to return to London, I would return to them. the only negative thing? the bathroom was a bit small.
- Lance (7/5): Small but sufficient, super location. - Great, quiet location.. a lovely area, and only a short walk from Tufnell Park tube station. I have to agree with some of the other reports noise from the doors and shared kitchen area. Did wake me up from around 7 o’clock. However, my partner didn’t hear anything as they’re heavier sleeper. It does need a little more TLC, cupboard under the sink, blind surround falling down.
Otherwise, it has everything you need .
- Katelyn (8/5): Very good -
- Carol-anne (2/5): Very poor -
- Sophie (8/5): Very good - Beautiful and clean A little too hot at night
- Jacqueline (7/5): Good -
- Nida (8/5): Very good -
- Csaba (8/5): Very good -
- Talika (8/5): Lovely quiet stay in a bright clean room. - The property is on a lovely leafy street away from heavy traffic so very quiet. While we were aware there was a shared kitchen in the property we never received information of where it was and didn’t want to just wonder around to find it.
- Samantha (7/5): Good -
- Olivia (8/5): Perfect location good value for money - The location was amazing
- Aileen (3/5): Shabby, unclean, noisy, not worth it. - The location was very nice. The room was in the basement, which wasn't advised at the time of booking, so we had a view of the bins. The whole property was shabby and needed redecoration, the room was not properly cleaned, there were spiders and cobwebs everywhere, and the bathroom was so tiny as to be basically inaccessible. The noise throughout the night kept us awake. This was not because people were being particularly noisy, but because there was clearly no soundproofing whatsoever so you could hear every footstep and phone beep etc. We ended up leaving after our first night and found alternative accommodation. I recommend anyone considering staying here...does not.
- Wendy (4/5): Disappointing -
- Hayley (9/5): Superb - Location, very quiet and kitchen facilities Nothing to dislike
- Marcin (9/5): Perfect accommodation for a city break. - Great localization - approximately 10 minutes walk to the underground station. For this price in London it's a bargain. The shelves above the beds were a little dusty.
- June (8/5): Very good -
- Ana (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was very neat and everyone was super nice
- Annette (9/5): Lovely room review. - Cosy, extremely clean room and private bathroom.
Lovely kitchen. Quiet and peaceful hotel.
I would have loved to meet the host.
However, I still had a relaxing stay.
The housekeeping is excellent and the domestic staff are welcoming and polite. I didn't like the fact that my room was on the basement floor. I struggled to get up and down the stairs with my suitcases, because I am disabled. Perhaps the host could provide the option of the first floor for disabled individuals.
- Calvin (10/5): Sweet and simple - Ease of access and good location with easy transport links Nothing
- Tomasz (7/5): Good -
- Ann (10/5): Great accomodation - Great location - 10 min walk to tufnell underground station on northern line which was only a 15 min trip into centre of city/london bridge for sightseeing. Lovely fresh room, good size, Very clean, ensuite was very nice, beds were very comfortable, great to have a share kitchen with all necessities to have breakfast every morning..fridge, microwave, hob etc. Very easy check in and out by key code. Ideal place to stay in london. Would definately recommend. Wouldve been great if more cuttlery in kitchen. Other than that everything was perfect. Great stay
- Kate (7/5): Good -
- Rhys (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, super easy to check in and out, clean and comfortable.
- Jenny (8/5): Very good -
- Abida (2/5): It was not satisfactory - The shared kitchen was nice The room was in the basement. But no where in my booking procedure was not mentioned. It might be normal in London, but an international booking platform should mention this.
- Aaron-trowell (8/5): Very good - Very clean and comfortable. I would stay again Quite a lot of noise from people going in and out of the shared kitchen
- Clare (9/5): Great find for a few days in London. Would use again. - Easy access and convenient. Clean and well set out, good kitchen set up. Not set up for disabled access
- Hayley (9/5): Few days visiting friends - Lovely room, clean, comfortable, and secure. Location for me is excellant
. Nothing
- Deesan (7/5): Good -
- Jodie (5/5): Convenient purely because of location. - I liked the location as it was very close to where I needed to be. I wasn't sent my code or room number so had to contact host on arrival. Room was too hot despite fan, open window amd thermostat turned down. Bed was hard. Bathroom smelt awful and wasn't clean (we found several bugs in there). The shared kitchen facilities were poor. 6 sachets of milk between 5 basement room. Everything smelt musky.
- Hugh (6/5): Adequate. - Location excellent, check in excellent Being in a basement room the stairs were a nightmare with luggage and poorly lit.
- Katharina (8/5): I‘m happy - It was easy accessible and the location was nice
- Tinaz (8/5): Very good -
- A (8/5): Very good - How it was alot of technology based and you didn’t need a key It wasn’t very clean
- Tracy (9/5): Great place, had everything I needed in a lovely quiet street. - Extremely clean and quiet, the shared kitchen was great. I arrived half an hour early and they let me check in then which was very welcome.
- Gareth (8/5): Good value for money, good location. - Comfortable room. The location is great, short walk from the tube at Tufnel Park. The room and building seemed secure and the shared amenities were great. The space isn't huge, but i imagine that's very much what you get in London and we weren't expecting a big room to stretch out in! The bathroom was difficult to air out.
- Pablo (8/5): Very good -
- Simon (5/5): Ok stay, was ok for one night. - Not applicable Door access keypads difficult to use. Would not stay at this hotel again for this reason.
- Alessandra (4/5): Could be better. Lack of information in the website. - Equipped kitchen. There was no lift - we had to use stairs with our luggage (this information isn't on the website). Our room was in the basement, so our view was the garbage! We cannot leave luggage there after check-out because there is no reception or staff. It is 800 meters from the nearest metro station.
- Yan (8/5): Very pleasant stay - Good and quiet location very close to Emirates Stadium for perfect for a stay after a game. Rather cosy room with communal kitchen facilities available. Staff quite responsive The bed could be larger for couple stay and bathroom a bit small
- Brian (7/5): I would stay there again when next I go to London . - In a nice area of London . Room was on the small size , everything was a bit cramped .
- Stephanie (10/5): Exceptional - Private, cosy, homely vibe, great amenities, and peaceful. The location was very residential great transport connections.
- Phoebe (6/5): Decent for London! - It was in a good location. It felt safe walking home from the station in the evening too as the area was pleasant and it was clear there was a lot of CCTV, which is reassuring when walking home alone. The walk to Tufnell station took approximately 15 minutes, so was fairly close and flat.
The property was very clean and the room was quite large. There was a large smart TV where you could sign into Netflix, Prime etc, which was convenient for some down time after lots of walking. There was shampoo & conditioner in the shower, which was an added bonus. Checking in was very easy with the very smart key code policy, meaning you don’t have to worry about carrying or losing a key; you just need to remember the codes! I was at the front of the house on the basement floor so anyone entering the property could see me if I opened the blinds. I was also next to the kitchen so I heard people entering and leaving early hours of the morning which wasn’t pleasant.
A review on here had said that some breakfast stuff was supplied in the kitchen, but that was not the case. Plus there were not enough teabags to cater for a floor of about 4 rooms (3 teabags but loads of coffee!).
The property contacted me a LOT during my stay; probably upward of 5 messages before, during and after the stay, which was quite disruptive to my evening as I worried there was an emergency or something every time I saw the notification. Yet when I contacted them requesting more teabags for my floor, this was ignored.
- Annalaura (3/5): Poor - nice location, close the tube the room was tiny, dirty and full of dust. you won’t find the staff but you can only reach out to them via message. we asked to clean the room as it was super dirty and it took two days to have the room “cleaned”. the bathroom is tiny.
- Meeli (7/5): Clean place in a good location - The surrounding area was very nice. Close to Tufnell Park underground station. Easy check-in, no human contact needed.
The bathroom had hand soap, shampoo and conditioner, extra toilet paper. Extra/new towels could be taken from the kitchen. Hair dryer in the room.
The bed was comfortable, the sheets were clean. (There was only one blanket in the room, this might be a challenge for a couple that is not used to sleeping under one blanket. Not sure if another blanket could be provided on demand.)
No one stole the food from the shared fridge, the shared kitchen was generally clean. Complimentary coffee, tea, milk, sugar in the kitchen. The noise - every step, every button press, every door, every word that people said near the common area was heard. Very poor sound isolation. It was not an issue in the evenings, but in the early mornings. This is not a place for those that want to have a good night's sleep unless you are a very heavy sleeper and noise doesn't bother you at all.
The green hue from the emergency exit light was on all the time, including at nights, and was a bit bothersome.
No table lamp or any other smaller lamp to use instead of the bright ceiling light.
The water kettle was not very clean, there was limescale in the bottom that we didn't feel comfortable with.
- Michelle (10/5): Anson Hotel - near Kentish Town - Its clean and everything we need was there. Just perfect for us. Location is good too as its just a few minutes walk to the nearest station and feels safe. I would definitely recommend this b&b. There is no reception and unsure what to do but someone turned up and let us in (unlocked the coded door). Nothing major. All worked out alright in the end. Thank you
- Kyra (10/5): Exceptional -
