• Morales (8/5): Great hotel and overall stay, made better by Ethan’s excellent customer service - Great stay overall. The hotel was clean, well located, and offered free parking, which I appreciated. It was also much prettier in person than I anticipated. My check-in experience was disappointing due to one front desk staff member who quickly told me I had no reservation when she couldn’t immediately find my name. I was bluntly told that I did not have a booking, without much effort made to further investigate the issue. Thankfully, Ethan, a young staff member wearing an “in training” badge, stepped in and found my reservation right away. He was professional, pleasant, and very helpful. It’s unfortunate when one negative interaction can impact an otherwise excellent experience. I truly appreciate Ethan’s great customer service.

I guess the guests dont come first.. - Location was great… parking… The windows in my room were broken.. would not close..windy and snowstorm… high traffic area and the noise of traffic and sirens and snowplough kept us awake..spoke to an employee and they said they will let maintenance know.. we came back later and not fixed.. We were there for two nights and upon checking out explained to front desk… they didn’t care.. I bet if I went back tonight someone else would be there and windows still not fixed.

• Artur (9/5): Comfortable stay. - Clean well maintained Hotel and room. No chemical smells on towels/bedding. Soundproofing is pretty good. Stairs in the middle of the hotel are safe and fun to use. Friendly housekeeping and well managed. The beds have weak springs and the pillow tops make it worse. Initially the front desk staff told me that all beds are the same but the next day the manager overheard me and was accommodating. Showed me a room with a little more firm beds and I was able to stay 6 more days.
• Jennifer (4/5): Next time I'll spend a few more dollars to stay somewhere nicer downtown. - The room was clean. Our stay was at a reasonable price relative to other nearby hotels. The soundproofing was poor and there was noise in the halls through the night. The lobby was under construction with bits of debris everywhere. I understand construction needs, but it was the weekend with no work happening and seemed that the floor could have been swept.

• Nidhi (10/5): Comfortable and practical hotel to stay at while in Halifax - The stay here was very good. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. There was plenty of parking on site. The gym was very basic but I still got a good workout. There are some restaurant options just across the street. The drive to downtown was not long. The chromecast in the room was a nice feature to have; we were able to stream a movie at the end of a long day of travel. The staff was very quick to help us out. The mattresses are comfortable ; however I feel the edge of the mattress droops a bit which you should be aware of.
