Hosts left some nibbles and wine, plus enough for breakfast, and had all the facilities to make our own meals. House itself was lovely, as was the location in amongst the vineyard. Would stay again!! • Simone (10/5): The best place I have ever stayed at. Will definitely come back again! - It was truly spectacular! I was looking to get away from the usual stress of day to day life for my birthday & this place definitely stepped up. There were so many little touches that made it so comfortable & welcoming from the gorgeous dogs greeting you when you entered down to the hand lotion on the dresser in the bedroom suite. The fireplace was all ready to go when I got there as it was very cold in July. Bottle of wine made in their vineyards with treats. Vegemite/jams/breakfast muesli’s in the cupboard & bread in the freezer for breakfast. So much more! Everything was thought of carefully and with love. I would not hesitate to stay here again. So much more I could say but you need to stay there & experience it all Absolutely nothing to complain about.

• Christine (10/5): If you are looking for lux- this is it! - If you need a getaway this is THE PLACE! Set in the middle of a stunning landscape that has breathtaking views from every angle. From the friendly greeting given by Archie and the delightful Pepper (dogs that live onsite) to the luxurious comfort of the Villa -there is so much to like about this stay. A well appointed kitchen (with welcome drinks, nibbles and a few breakfast supplies) to my all time favourite feature- the underfloor bathroom heating, this is lux! A spacious living area, toasty warm comfort and a heavenly bed made our visit hard to leave. The gym was well equipped and had everything you needed (and more) for an invigorating workout. Highly recommend this slice of perfection. Nothing! It was perfect!

The open fire was ready to light on arrival and the bottle of wine was delicious! Every detail was anticipated to provide an exceptional experience. Stunning location nestled between McLaren Vale and Adelaide Hills. We enjoyed the beautiful countryside, relaxed vineyard setting and proximity to so many awesome wineries.

The views are breathtaking, the ambiance is superb and every little detail is well thought out. Exceptionally clean and so much care is taken to ensure a wonderful time can be had. The owners are lovely and everything was absolutely perfect. A must place to visit, to relax and unwind whilst taking in the majestic beauty. Thank you for the love and care put in to make the stay very memorable. Just maybe a fresh juice for breakfast and top up bread for toast daily and milk for cereal if needed. Otherwise, it was superb.

The hosts Vanessa, Marty and their dogs Archie and Pepper were welcoming and very accommodating with our requests, which made birthday celebrations extra special. They have truly thought of everything and even provided some snacks, drinks and a bottle of wine upon arrival. Tastefully furnished and attention to detail was second to none. This has to be the most complete and thoughtfully set out place l have ever stayed in (and I’ve stayed in many!). Facilities are great and the suite itself is clean, cosy and has a luxurious feel with amenities to match. The property has a beautiful and tranquil setting nestled amongst vines and paddocks with friendly animals. We had a fabulous stay, would highly recommend!

Very clean and modern inside the accommodation, the pool being available was great as we stuck a heat wave and was great to end the day in along with the BBQ and a local red and steak. Bed super comfortable, checking in easy , the farm animals and dogs great company. Great value , location and well presented, we would definitely come back. We had power issues during heat wave as everyone in the neighborhood was drawing hard on the power supply with their ac units.

Everything was so warm and inviting. My husband and I felt so at home and at ease. We are on our belated honeymoon, and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. A great spot in the wine regions of South Australia. Marty, Vanessa and their family were wonderful hosts, incredibly accommodating and easy to communicate with. A message here and there to check if we needed anything. The dogs Archie and Pepper were super cute, and gave us plenty of attention (greatly appreciated, as we were missing our zoo at home!). Awesome gym and tennis courts on the property - which we were welcome to use. Freedom to walk around and explore and take in the beauty. Some good nature trails within walking distance too. Heated blankets on the beds, heated towel rail and underfloor heating in the bathroom. Everything that one would need for a cracking fire - already sorted - greatly appreciated for us Queenslanders in winter! Truly, it’s as if Marty and Vanessa (when setting up this space) thought “What would we like when we’re away? What makes life easier and a holiday more enjoyable?” and then covered all bases. Touches like extra face-washers; tissues; cleaning products etc. as well as some snacks, drinks, and a beautiful bottle of Shiraz to welcome us. • Julia (10/5): Exceptional - If I could give it 100 starts, I would. It was the best stay within SA I've ever had. The property is fantastic, so comfortable and stylish! It felt like home and better. The surroundings are stunning and you get a great view of the wineyards and valeys from 1st and 2nd floor of the house thanks to wide huge doors and windows all around. There are animals around the property too! We saw pretty rabbits, gave a nose scratch to a horse and got lots of cuddles from Archie and Pepper (adorable pupps)! Also I am so happy we had a fire place in the living room and heated floors in the bathroom, those spots get specially helpful in winter time 😁. I want to say special thank you to Martin and Vanessa for their kindness and care about their guests. Highly recommend to book this place for a cozy romantic get away ❤ Everything was exceptional!
