• Michael (10/5): - Property proximity to Farringdon tube/rail station. (Needed to arrive early morning for passenger check-in on the Eurostar.) The aim was to limit the number of moving parts underpinning my journey the next day. This location succeeded admirably. The flat itself is well designed and clean. A great example of what can be done when repurposing existing building stock. Ambient noise from Clerkenwell Road remains perennially intrusive. Ear plugs recommended for a decent night's sleep.

The bedroom was very clean and comfortable. Nothing - it suited me perfectly

• Luis (9/5): - Mary is an excellent host - prompt responses and clear communication. The location was perfect for me. The room was good - no telly was a plus. Minor point - The shower had a single shower head and nowhere to conveniently hang it, making it harder to take a shower.

• GARCIA MORENO (1/5): UN HORROR, LAMENTABLE, TERRIBLE, ARRUINÓ NUESTRAS VACACIONES DE CUMPLEAÑOS - El WC estaba averiado, se lo dijimos desde el primer día y no hizo nada por repararlo. Durante TODA nuestra estancia nos hemos tenido que apañar con un CUBO. Esta mañana se ha despedido de nosotros sintiendo las molestias y ahora tiene la poca vergüenza de reclamarnos unos daños que ya existían el día que llegamos (200 LIBRAS DE UNA RESERVA DE 400). Somos nosotros quienes debemos reclamar el importe integro del alojamiento por las molestias ocasionadas.

• Raita (7/5): Entspricht der visuellen Vorstellung, aber man muss sich bisschen vorbereiten. - Die Unterkunft entspricht den vorgezeigten Bildern. Das Bett ist sehr bequem und sonst war alles sehr sauber. Die Gastgeberin hat mich persönlich erwartet und anschließend noch Tipps gegeben, wo man essen gehen kann. Unbedingt Ohrenstöpsel mitbringen. Sehr schlechte Lautisolation, sowohl von der Straße als auch von den Geräuschen der Einwohner. Leider war die nächste Drogerie bereits zu um spontan paar Ohrenstöpsel zu kaufen, somit war die Nacht nicht erholsam. Wer gerne bei kompletter Dunkelheit schläft besser auch eine Schlafmaske nicht vergessen. 2 Steckdosen haben nicht funktioniert, aber es gaben noch andere deswegen war es ok.
• Loretta (10/5): La proprietaria è davvero gentile e disponibile e ci ha fornito utili indicazioni per raggiungere l' - Sia la camera molto luminosa che il bagno corrispondono alle foto mostrate e sono molto puliti e il letto molto comodo. La posizione è veramente strategica. A pochi minuti dalla stazione treni e metro di Farringdon è ottimamente collegato all'aeroporto di Gatwick e per raggiungere ogni punto della città.

• Maria Valentina (7/5): Probabilmente ci tornerei - Ottima posizione, super centrale, a 10 min a piedi da St. Paul Cathedral e vicinissimo a una fermata della metro. Zona tranquilla la sera, non abbiamo mai avuto problemi. La proprietaria molto gentile e la stanza pulita. La stanza è nella casa in cui vive la proprietaria e una cosa che ci ha lasciato un po perplessi che non ci fosse la possibilità di chiuderla da fuori, ma solo da dentro. Non abbiamo avuto problemi perché lei carinissima, ma non è proprio bellissimo. Altra cosa sistemerei, la tenda della doccia non proprio bellissima.

• chiara (9/5): OTTIMA SOLUZIONE - Mary é stata molto ospitale e gentile. Ci ha fatto trovare tutto il necessario per il soggiorno. Camera più grande della media di Londra così come il bagno.

Les deux soirées sur trois sans eau chaude (donc pas de douche) et l'impossibilité d'accéder à la cuisine, partie commune, le dernier jour car utilisée par une personne pour y dormir jusqu'à 9h ! J'oubliais le lit en 140 cm, un peu petit, l'isolation phonique (pas de boules quiès, pas de dodo!) et pas de possibilité de laisser les bagages (mais ce dernier point est excusable).

• Iacopo (10/5): Nel cuore di Londra - Camera accogliente, pulita, comoda che ha superato le aspettative. Bagno privato con tutto il necessario. Posizione ottima, centralissima, a 3 minuti a piedi dalla stazione di Farringdon (ottima per chi atterra a Gatwick). Tutto perfetto.

• Valentina (8/5): Soddisfatta, lo consiglio. - La comodità e la vicinanza vicino alla stazione dei treni e metro. La stanza non aveva la moquette ( o meglio, c'era solo su un pezzettino di stanza) Lo scarico del bagno un po' debole. Rapporto qualità prezzo in linea con gli standard di Londra.

• Heinrich (8/5): Top Lage - Vermieterin sehr nett. Die Lage top, alle Highlights gut zu Fuß oder mit Bus zu erreichen. Gutes günstiges Frühstück um die Ecke (war ein Tip der Vermieterin). Das Bett ist schmal, daher für Leute, die wie wir etwas größer geraten sind, zu überlegen.

Plenty of shops and pubs around. Hand held shower. Curtain rail that fell down when we opened or closed the curtains. No TV.

Our host was super nice and helpful, she even recommended us a pub nearby when we arrived way too early to enter the room the first day😊 highly recommended for solo travelers and couples! -

Really strong washing liquid smell on towels and sheets - so much so that I had to wash my clothes to get it out!! Not complaining about the cleanliness, just the excess detergent. Would have been nice if the shower had something to hold it on the wall. Not the cleanest bathroom, but adequate.

I was not aware that it was a room inside a flat, but nothing against. My bad. At the end I have to say that it was very nice and comfortable

The room and the bathroom very clean. The room is located very close, just about 5 minutes walk, to the Farringdon station. Tesco Express, Pret a Manger, and a good and safe pub within 2 minutes walk. I highly recommend the place.

• Erling (10/5): Calm and safe place for a single traveller. - Superb location with the Thames within walking distance, nearby Farringdon Underground station junction, and easy travel back and forth to Stansted Airport. VERY hospitable and pleasant owners that offered just the right amount of presence, and a nice cup of coffee and a small chat in the morning. Except for the entrance door area, the whole lower part of the appartment is essentially yours during the stay, so it feels very private. Traffic noise as expected for a capital area location, so bring good earplugs as I did, and there's nothing to put a finger on really.

The thoughtful inclusion of a heater and warm blanket makes London's chill a non-issue. The kitchen is a gem with a microwave, dishwasher, and even supplies like sugar and salt. George and Mary, who live upstairs (though mostly at work), ensure everything runs smoothly. Plus, the proximity to the underground station is a game-changer for easy airport access. Highly recommend!
