Guest Reviews
- Tabatha (10/5): Very nice, clean, close to town place. - Close to town, but far enough away to enjoy the quiet. Hot tub was a little dated
- OTR (9/5): Great Chalet! - This is a great chalet. So cosy and the surroundings so beautiful. We had everything that we needed. Very spacious for a family of four. Easy communication with the host. Great location for quick access to the GSM National Park and even Dollywood. Would stay here again. Nothing really.

- Niocca (10/5): -
- Nicole (9/5): - Everything was really nice we enjoyed it. The only bad thing was the temperature downstairs. It kept pretty cold and most of our stay was in the upper 50s.
- Eric (10/5): -
- David (10/5): We really enjoyed our stay. - The location was great. The cabin was excellent. Very Cozy. The roads to get to the cabin were bad. It was a single lane road that went in both directions. The drop off on the side of the road was a bit scary. Maybe guard rails would help.
- William (10/5): It was an amazing week - The view Na
- Steffan (10/5): -
- Monica (10/5): Loved our time there and it will be the first place we look at the next time we visit! - Location was perfect, close to Gatlinburg and everywhere we needed. Beautiful home, great deck!
- Shauna (10/5): -
- Robert (9/5): We would stay there again. Very good value - The location. Needs a comfortable reading chair, like a recliner. Otherwise the design details and furnishings are outstanding. It would also a quiet, peaceful location. This is a very welcome counterpoint for crowded tourist trap aura of Galinburg.
- Keri (10/5): -
- Mercedes (9/5): Stayed here with my fiance for my birthday and it was amazing. The house is very nice and clean. Very close to town and - The house was very close to downtown, very clean, decor was amazing and felt very at home. The game table was a cherry on top. Hot tub felt and looked great.
- Little (8/5): Great stay but could be cleaner - This property was amazing, great location and good communication with the host!!! This property could’ve been cleaner. The night stands needed dusting and there were a ton of cobwebs on both patios.
- Raymond (10/5): -
- William (10/5): -
- Lacey (10/5): We loved the cabin! Was just like the description. Very clean. Great location. We accidentally left something behind and - We loved the property! Great location and it was very clean!

- Hussain (8/5): Very good -
- Omair (8/5): Very good - Beautiful private cabin and tons of bear watching throughout the day. The upstairs sink wasn’t draining properly and the trash can foot push button was broken. The dryer wasn’t working either but the host took care of the dryer issue the same day.
- Michelle (10/5): Exceptional -
- Clifton (8/5): Very good -
- Hunley (10/5): Few nice peaceful weekend getaway at a very clean and cozy place - Very clean and cozy No steps to get in and out of hot tub
- Neil (10/5): Really enjoyed the trip. The owners were accomodating, and very prompt to reply to any message I sent them! - Good views this time of year with no leaves in the trees. Enjoyed the view!
- Carlos (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lesa (10/5): You will not be disappointed - This cabin was lovely. Everything I hoped it would be. We truly enjoyed our trip. It was clean, warm, and spacious. It had everything we needed. The downstairs was fun with games and a big T.V. The hot tub was awesome. The only downside was that there were no steps to get into the hot tub so it was a little struggle for my husband's new hip. Otherwise, it was a perfect stay! They kept us informed on our stay and gave us information on how to reach them with any questions. No steps into the hot tub.
- Lakisha (9/5): Superb -
- Ashley (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rovena (7/5): Pleasant stay - It was a very nice tree house and it is better than in picture, very spacious and it has a lot of light with a spectacular view.I didn't like the fact that once you leave the house the air conditioner stops and it takes hours to get it cozy. Also there are no extra blankets and sheet covers which makes it a little uncomfortable and the towel s and sheets do not smell fresh and they feel old and not soft.i tried to cook breakfast and the fan doesn't work. However the overall experience is pleasant.I enjoyed the jacuzzi, however i would prefer to have the balconies cleaned up before our arrival. The view was spectacular and the tree house was very spacious
- Marci (10/5): Perfect mountain getaway. Remote and quiet. Very relaxing. - Clean, well kept, comfortable, cozy, relaxing, met all of our vacationing needs, perfect getaway.
- Katerina (10/5): Perfect Stay in Gatlinburg - This home is beautiful! It was the perfect “cabin in the woods” experience near Great Smoky Mountains National Park. This place was super clean and well-taken care of. There were games available in the basement including Skee-Ball! We would stay here again and can’t wait. Amazing location in respect to the park and surrounding areas. The only things I can say to this question are that there was no full length body mirror and the pillows on the bed were not the most comfortable. Otherwise, everything was great!
- Teresa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gilbert (10/5): Exceptional - The property was very close to town but still secluded enough to get away from the noise and traffic. A second shower would have been great but we knew going in that it only had one.
- Cunningham (10/5): Perfect size and it was nice, quiet, clean and easy to get to. - Great quiet location that was still close to town. Perfect size for our family and appreciated all the tech (Roku TVs, charging docks, EV charger) No issues. Great property
- Donell (9/5): Loved this place for our family of 5! - Very clean, comfortable beds including the sofa bed. Spacious, comfortable furniture and lovely view Would have liked to have one more shower.
- John (10/5): Very nice cabin, beautifully decorated and quite comfortable with bonus hot tub. Great stay! - Beautifully decorated, clean, organized, good location, hot tub was a real bonus. Had nice club house facilities available. Only 1.5 bathrooms, would have been nice if two bath. Privacy for the sleeping bunk beds on lower level.
Had contradictory entry and departure instructions from Booking.com and owner. Followed all instructions from owner once we had access to unit. Needed more blankets, pillow cases, etc...
- Ashlee (9/5): Superb -
- Rodney (10/5): Beautiful, modern cabin located perfectly between Downtown Gatlinburg and the entrance to the National Park. It’s very q - Location was perfect! Not enough storage in the master bedroom, but definitely wouldn’t keep me from staying here again and again.
- Daniel (8/5): Very good -
- Helen (9/5): Fabulous space, well equipped in a great location - Great space internally, well equipped and loved the woods around it.
Very close to Smoky Mountains National Park
We saw bears on 2 of the days and spent an hour on the deck watching a mum and her 2 youngsters hanging out on one of the evenings.
We had a wonderful week here. Partially overlooked when others came in for the weekend, which made it a little noisy
- Kelly (10/5): We loved it ❤️ -
- Kason (10/5): Exceptional - It’s was very nice and clean!
- Jomar (9/5): Great family trip and a beautiful chalet! - The property was beautiful, comfortable and well kept. I know it is newer. I also don’t like driving around the mountains lol. Scary stuff but we were not too high so it was perfect! We even saw a bear up close and personal. It was big! The only thing I didn’t care for was the hot tub could have been cleaner. I was looking forward to spending some time in it but settled for just the one dip.
- Lisa (10/5): Beautiful Cabin for Lovers - The cabin was beautiful and spacious. Everything from the upstairs fireplace and the lighting ambiance with the glass windows. To the downstairs seating that was comfortable to cuddle and watch a movie. The hot tub was a plus. We loved everything.
- Kim (10/5): Overall, this was the most relaxing trip. The property was absolutely perfect. - We loved how well kept this property was. It was by far the cleanest property that we have ever stayed at. We LOVED everything. There isn't one thing that we can say bad about this property.
- Kotone (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing location, homely stay, great facilities. Nothing!!
- Whitney (10/5): Exceptional - This was the perfect place to stay if you love to be in the mountains but not too far from town. It was comfortable, hot tub was very clean, and overall just a cozy atmosphere. We loved everything about it! We plan to come back to Theo’s Treehouse for our future vacations.
- John (10/5): Amazing, newer, well equipped cabin with a hot tub and great host! - It is a beautiful, well equipped newer cabin. It is located on a dead end street so very quiet with little to no traffic. The bed was very comfortable. And it was great having a hot tub to relax in after a long day of seeing the sights. There is a room downstairs with games, a large TV and two extra beds, that would be a great place to hang out in. The owner is a great communicator who answered all of our questions in a timely manner. We will definitely try to book this amazing cabin on our next visit. That we couldn't stay longer!
- Carlton (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ashley (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joshua (9/5): Superb - There was no breakfast aside from coffee. The location was nice. There was a cleaning fee yet the host wanted us to still clean up.
- Shelli (8/5): Overall it was awesome..great for a quick getaway for 2. - The cabin is nicely decorated in a minimalist sort of way. The deck and hot tub are great. The neighborhood was quiet. It was very comfortable. It had quick, easy access to Gatlinburg. There was not a lot of room for clothing and suitcases. There is only a tiny closet in the master.
A few areas needed a bit more cleaning.
- Chris (10/5): Was perfect! - Everything about it was great. Great location very reasonable priced. Extremely nice place. Can’t wait to stay again.
- Joao (8/5): Very good -
- Christian (10/5): Love it and will be back next year! Wanted to stay longer but it was booked! - The cabin was beautiful and exceeded our expectations. It was not to far from town which was also nice. The decor was perfect for what I was looking for. I will definitely be back! Parking might be an issue if we bring our kids, but we can make it work!
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brad (9/5): Superb -
- Elijah (10/5): Theo's Treehouse is not just a place to stay; it's a destination in itself. - We recently had the pleasure of staying at Theo's Treehouse, and to say the experience was phenomenal would be an understatement. The setting was incredibly peaceful and quiet, offering a perfect escape from the busy day of activities. Nestled in the Gatlinburg ski mountain among towering trees, the treehouse had all the comforts of home while providing an connection to nature.
The views were absolutely breathtaking; As for Joey, our host, he was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived to the second we left, Joey made sure every need was met, every question answered, and every comfort provided. His attention to detail made our stay not just a vacation, but a cherished memory.
If you're on the fence about choosing between a hotel and Theo’s Treehouse, let me make it simple for you: choose the treehouse. The tranquility and uniqueness of the experience far surpass anything a conventional hotel could offer. My family had an unforgettable time, and we can't wait to return.
- Johnson (10/5): Well worth the cost. Much better than getting a hotel room - The comfort and newest of the cabin. Nothing
- Miller (10/5): Beautiful cabin, great location!! - The cabin is absolutely beautiful, the bed was so comfortable and there was everything we needed. We were even offered an early check in without asking and it was very convenient to get to. It is no joke to not leave food in the car there was a bear right outside and we also saw a mama and 3 cubs on our way to the cabin. I would definitely stay here again.
