- Rachel (10/5): We loved the apartment overall and will definitely come back. - Great location and view. The shower in the main bathroom was a little hard to get the water temp right. There was also no fan so it steamed up very quickly. Also the soft close draws in the kitchen weren't that easy to open.
- Robbie (9/5): Great holiday location - The property was very well presented and equipped with everything you need. Location is close to the main esplanade where all of the restaurants and cafes are (5 minute walk). There is a Coles supermarket and bottle shop easily within walking distance. The main beach is a 10 minute walk, or you can drive to the beach car park. With young kids, we found it easier to drive to the beach car park.

- Kim (9/5): Except for 2 minor issues this was a lovely place to stay in Mooloolabah. Nicely renovated apartment with quality fittin - Great location, views of the ocean, onsite parking. Access to the beach walking paths just across the road. Could have been a bit more generous with at least I clothes washing detergent.. and pump shower body wash. Tiny soaps are not adequate.

- Paul (7/5): Had a great time - Great location, great views, really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was a bit tired and could do with a freshen up of the decor. The patio doors to the balcony were broken( I had to fix it back onto the track). This is not really a complaint but an advice observation. The condition was acceptable.

Unfortunately there were a few issues that it was hard to get addressed in a timely way.
The recliner didn’t work and it took several phone calls to G1 Holidays before they would even agree to look at it and find/plug in the cord to make it work. They kept saying on the phone that it must just not be functional - we really had to push hard for them to make enquiries with the owner to find the cord, which then took them a few days. When they finally did attend to it it was a very simple fix but I really had to push them to even acknowledge it was an issue and fix it.
The dryer was not working when we arrived but thankfully they did send someone to fix/replace it within a few days.
We raised the issue of the dishwasher not working by email on the second day of our 10-day stay - but they never replied to the email. When the maintenance man came to fix the dryer we asked him to look at the dishwasher also and we thought it was then working. Unfortunately it still isn’t - so we resorted to handwashing dishes for the rest of our trip rather than trying to get G1 to respond to our request for it to be fixed.
We were also very puzzled by the shower taps. It took several days to work these out, during which time we just had baths. The taps are very attractive but not very functional. Once again, we asked about this by email but received no response.
A suggestion is to include information about the shower taps, the recliner and other appliances in the online manual that lists the wifi password etc, as there is no printed manual in the apartment.
I did find one person - Carole - to be helpful but unfortunately the others I dealt with were less so.
Overall the apartment was beautiful - but unfortunately the lack of helpful and prompt communication with G1 Holidays did put quite a dampener on our trip. When paying over $550 a day, we really would have hoped for better service/attention.

The amazing views (front & rear), great sized fridge, back balcony with access as well as the great front balcony. Overall nice refurb!!! Showers were difficult to operate - difficult to adjust to right temp - expensive appearance with poor function.
Water pressure was poor.
Water pooled in shower floor - retiled fall inadequate to take water away to drain.
Need more towel rails, in both bathrooms.
Vacuum didn't work.
Right hand balcony sliding door stiff to move.

At we were not made aware that a deposit of $500 was required above the rental price. Unless you scroll to the end of the booking information, this should be front and centre of the booking price. Our accounts was locked for this value for over 7 days
