Guest Reviews
- Jesse (4/5): If you love a challenge and a good story: go ahead. For peace and comfort: look elsewhere. - Our vacation turned out to be a serious test of patience and improvisation. The house? A little outdated, with still some single-pane windows and too cramped for 6 people. The pool on arrival? Dirty - filtering not working, pool floor clearly not vacuumed for several days. The aggressive concierge didn't notice, so we had to alert the owner ourselves. The next day, someone came, found a leak in the pump system, and fixed it within a few hours (but left the dirty pool floor untouched). But the initiative? That was entirely on us. The house keys? Only one set provided, apparently that's the new standard according to the (aggressive) concierge. Informing the owner was again on us. The next day the 2nd set was delivered. The heating? A game of "either-or": you could heat the pool OR the house, but never both (thanks for the 2 days of freezing!). Oh and the transition is not error-free even when done by the pool service man. Informing the owner was again on us. The garage? Worn-out but our dogs loved it, likely because of the free buffet of mice inside. Finally, the gate: I accidentally caused a light scratch while reversing. I immediately confessed honestly and thought, "Let me help the owner with a pot of paint." The response? "No, we must sand and repaint the entire gate to ensure a uniform color." Result: I had to call my insurance for the full cost of a total gate renovation, all for a tiny scratch.
In short: A stay where you have to play the technician, the concierge, the messenger AND the insurance adjuster yourself.
- Laetitia (10/5): Très bon séjour - La vue magnifique de la maison ainsi que la propreté et le confort de la maison L odeur de purin tous les matins et le bruit des avions toute la journée
- Dc (7/5): Welcoming and stay - Beautiful house and great location, all equipment is there. Beautiful terrace and swimming pool. Eye for detail in decoration. How we got welcomed by the agents locally and by message by the owner. The lady was not in a good mood when she showed us around and showed aggressively on phone "you need to pay 800 euros", we already paid by visa in September for our stay but she didn't say it was for deposit, which gave stress when we arrived. We showed and showed proof we payed for the stay. It was definitely not a warm welcome. The owner also messaged in an unfriendly way that we should have read conditions and they want to avoid bad situations by paying the deposit but this time they would let it be. I felt stress and it felt like we already got accused by arrival (we never have any issues) because of some bad history maybe for the owners. It definitely didn't give a good start for our stay but we tried to let it go. This is not a way to welcome your guests.. :( understanding the deposit, it would be good to work on the communication in this and communicate in a more friendly way.
