• Barbara Leith (8/5): We loved being in the centre of Bologna and access to a vibrant and fun area. - The location is very good and we it was very clean. Laundry was a bonus. All four of us had issues at times with the Vikey system to enter the building etc. We felt more instructions would have been helpful. There were no instructions on how to use the cooktop and the air con in the second bedroom did not work well. It was very hot during our stay. There were only three wine glasses so it seems that these items checked regularly. The stairs with suitcases were a challenge but we knew there were stairs.
• Maria (9/5): Great location and value accommodation with nice bathrooms and bedrooms. - Great location, massive bedrooms and beds and excellent bathrooms. Very thin curtains on the windows, if you don’t sleep well with light coming in then make sure you take an eye mask! Otherwise I would highly recommend.

Очень хорошо относительно центральных достопримечательностей (10 мин). Можно пешком дойти до вокзала. В 7 минутах пару супермаркетов. Открытие дверей через приложение пугает ровно первый раз, потом не доставляет проблем) Не хватает шкафа/стойки/крючков для одежды. Открытие стиральной машинки после стирки - квест (смотрите ролик на ютубе)))

• John (6/5): - Room was a good size for 5 people and was very clean. It would have been nice to know that the Building does not have a lift. This needs to be made clear as having to bring 5 suitcases up more than 50 stairs was a nightmare. Shower in main bedrooms was also very small and pillows were very uncomfortable.
• Carina (9/5): Extremely comfortable apartment with a fabulous location - great for 2 couples or a family of 4! - Both rooms were very spacious, each with a very comfortable bed and very clean, modern bathrooms and huge closets. Sleeping there was relaxing. The kitchen was well equipped and modern as well. The spaces were all immaculately clean and modern looking, it was as nice or better than the photos. The location was also incredible. This has nothing to do with the apartment; however, I feel it should be noted that the apartment is on the "first floor" in a massive old Italian building, which meant that it was in fact the equivalent of 2-3 flights of stairs. No elevator. For guests with big suitcases or guests with reduced physical ability, they should plan for this. The other issue to mention that is also unrelated to the apartment is the parking: the apartment is located in the historical center, which is prohibited for outside traffic. Guests should not attempt to drive there - they will be fined.
• ilaria (10/5): Stupendo - Bellissimo appartamento, arredato con cura. Due camere separate con bagno ensuite. Bello caldo e vista stupenda. Unica cosa: risalita di odore di fogna nei bagni. Magari dei deodoranti di quelli che fanno uno spruzzo a timer.
• Sammi DiBacco (9/5): nice stay - A really lovely apartment with autonomous check-in. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms with a sofa bed. Comfortable beds and very spacious. There were no capsules for the coffee machine (nor a moka pot for the coffee grounds). After we alerted the apartment to this, they said they would bring some, but didn't. Also, it appeared that someone had ripped the cabinet off the water heater. It was out in the open, not in a cabinet as shown in the photos.

• Mădălina (9/5): Nice stay in Bologna - Close to city center and close to a direct bus to central railway in Bologna. Lot of places to eat, drink near the apartment. Really liked the no key opening the doors because I didn’t have to worry about a physical key, i have the phone always handy and it was very easy to work with the application. Visiting in November it was cold outside in the evening (below 10 degrees celsius) and initially the heat in the apartment didn’t work. The host fixed the problem pretty soon but the building being old and the walls cold when the heating was stopping you could feel the apartment was cold. No elevator might be a bit annoying after you walked an entire day to visit objectives and you have to climb the stairs to the apartment.

• Edoardo (7/5): - Ottima posizione, il palazzo stupendo. Nell'appartamento ci sono tutte le comodità. Praticamente il proprietario non esiste. Il cliente deve autoregistrarsi per poter accedere alla struttura: compilare dati caricare le foto dei documenti ecc.. In aeroporto abbiamo dovuto compilare la "parte burocratica" che spetta al proprietario gestire. Il numero di telefono solo risponde automaticamente e banalmente senza dare nessun risposta e dicendoci che non esiste la prenotazione. Se hai un problema o una necessità particolare non potrai parlare a priori con nessuno.( Neanche ci ha risposto nella chat di booking.) L'apertura porte (3) è automatico, peccato che secondo l'app non abbiamo nessuna prenotazione. Ogni volta per entrare bisogna recuperare l'email dove appare il link di apertura porte. Se c'è qualche forma per entrare non lo saprai mai, perché nessuno risponderà alle tue domande. In questo senso la nostra valutazione è PESSIMA. Il letto in soggiorno è abbastanza scomodo per dormire.
• Caroline (5/5): Poor communication. No response when one was urgently needed - Very clean nice apartment. Comfortable beds. 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. Not convenient to main train station. They asked us for arrival time, which we told them was 1pm. We had trouble checking in at 1:30pm. We tried repeatedly to contact them, first ringing the doorbell which they said would connect us to someone, then via what’s app, between 1:30 and 3:15pm. No response. We reached out to booking who contacted the host. They finally responded via what’s app, telling us that we should have used what’s app to contact them. ?? Check in time is 3pm. They asked us our arrival time which we told them was 1pm. If they had informed us we could not access the apartment until 3pm we would not have tried repeatedly. If they had responded to our what’s app messages to inform us we cannot access the apartment until 3pm we would not have tried repeatedly. But there was no communication until after 3:15pm when booking reached out to them. Just a simple message to us on what’s app or thru booking would have been much less stressful and frustrating for us.

• mario (9/5): Unterkunft war super, sauber, zentral und wir hatten eine gute Zeit in Bologna - Betreuung durch die Sprachassistenz . Wir hatten Probleme mit dem virtuellen key und es konnte uns nicht geholfen werden. Wir haben über what’s up kommuniziert , doch der sprachroboter hat immer nur auf den General Manager verwiesen, der uns gleich helfen wird. Kam natürlich keine Info zum öffnen der Tür! Das war sehr frustrierend.
• Richard (8/5): Delightful apartment in a wonderful location in Bologna that unfortunately lacks personal service. - Location was great. Fabulous area in the University district. The property is very comfortable. Like all AirBnB's in Italy it is a pain to do the online pre-documentation, city tax, and photo evidence process. Not something you have to do when you stay at a hotel. No host to greet you when you arrive. and everything is automated and communication is only via text. If you arrive early you can't access the apartment unlike hotels and there is no personal service at all. There was no helpful information in the apartment to familiarize yourself with the City, no water on arrival in the fridge, in fact nothing extra is provided. We were aware that the apartment has many stairs to get to it as there is no lift but the fact is it is a problem if you have heavy luggage. Many of our friends who have visited Italy over the last year have informed us about the AirBnB inconvenience that is now a part of any Italian stay. We did not have this issue in Greece where hosts do still meet you and you will find many extra items to greet you when you arrive. We come to Italy every year and have learned from our extensive visit this year. Like our friends, and as highlighted by popular 'visit Italy' podcasts that we follow, we will no longer stay at AirBnB in Italy. Given that all our hotel stays in Italy were fabulous and the excellent personal service was so noticeable, we will only stay in hotels when visiting Italy again next year.

La entrada es con una aplicación en móvil, si hay problema con red o te quedas sin bateria no puedes entrar a la casa. Éramos 5 y había servicio para 4 en cocina, podría haber algo básico como sal, agua.

• Bert (8/5): Afgezien van bovenstaande was het een fantastisch verblijf! - Mooi ingericht prachtige locatie heerlijk appartement voor 4 personen De slaapbank in de woonkamer is erg slecht het is niet geschikt om comfortabel op te slapen . Helaas zijn de luiken aan de buitenkant verwijderd daardoor wordt het in de middag erg warm in het appartement en moet nodeloos de airconditioning aan. Check in procedure verliep niet plezierig de door booking gegeven code werkt niet want je moet een App gebruiken.

• Dakis (10/5): We had a lovely stay in Bologna and enjoyed each second of it! - A lovely place to stay, ideal for 2 couples (or a family of 4), in front of a lively piazza, really close to the center of the city, Bonus the amazing view from the apartment, while enjoying breakfast, a light dinner or just a wine. If you are into history, check the beautiful staircase you have to go up to the apartment (4oo hundreds years old!)

Location was great Not the cleanest floor, didn’t seem vacuumed, and difficult to talk directly to the property manager, it was a bot that responded most of the time. Also unflexible about earlier check in and later check out. Check in was at 3 pm and the check out already at 10 am. I said we would be 10 minutes late for check out and the response was okay but please no later… not very accommodating considering the price.

• Letizia (5/5): Was ok but would not stay again - Location is great Not luxury at all - beds were comfy but furniture and appliances are basic and cheap-ish. I also only received an invoice for the amount of the tourist tax, am still waiting for the whole amount to be invoiced and have had to chase, I guess most people don’t bother. We forgot a dress in the apartment and have sent several messages to ask if I could retrieve it, but as soon as we checked out communication stopped and there was not even a reply to say no….

• Caroline (10/5): Exceptional - The location was fabulous, easy to walk everywhere including the train station (mainly under porticos too so we didn't get wet in the rain!) The property was very clean and the washing machine was brilliant, loads of storage for suitcases etc. Two showers was fab. there were basic facilities for cooking but fine for heating the delicious handmade pasta we bought when we figured it was quicker to go home with a take out than queue one lunchtime! There is a fab pizzaria (Berbere) around the corner, about a 2min walk where we ate in one night and got takeout another. The square opposite is filled with places to drink and grab snacks at night. And the ceilings are as beautiful as they look in the photos! The sofabed was not made up as we had requested but the owner got that sorted the next morning and we were pleased he was so prompt. I would reccomend this property!

• Susan (9/5): Clean, great beds, and a perfect location but be prepared for stairs. - The property is very comfortable, modern, clean and nice. The Wifi worked great and it's in a great location! It had a washing machine but it was not easy to figure out. It also had drying racks to help dry items. The kitchen is pretty well equipped but if you want to cook it only has salt, oregano, and a little bit of oil and vinegar. There were a few different color coffee pods provided but I had no idea what they were. There was a heated towel rack in the bathroom that was very nice and the hot water and water pressure were both great. The beds were very comfortable. The historic building was impressive. There is a hair dryer, shampoo and body gel. There is a tax stand across the street that we noticed. Coffee and pastries are on the corner. A restaurant is also on the corner, coming in around dinner time, this was convenient. Getting rid of the garbage was easy, it's literally downstairs in front of the entrance door. The room temperature was perfect. It had 3 TV's but we never turned them on. 64 steps up the circular staircase. (In the dark if you arrive at night.) We finally had someone come in behind us and tell us where the stairway light switch was located. The first light switch you encounter when you enter was not working, so we were struggling in darkness when we first arrived. In most of Europe being on the 2nd floor actually means 3rd (ground floor is "0") If you have huge suitcases, be prepared. I had a carry-on- it was not too bad once we had light. The key system is on your phone, paying $12 bucks a day to have access to a signal was irritating but I got over it. A few items that would make this a 5 star property - napkins, or paper towels to use when you eat. A bottle or two of water would be nice. A book with a few local suggestions- restaurants, things to do, where to find a taxi, emergency info, how to use the appliances. It's a beautiful property and so close to being perfect.
• Marc (6/5): Amazing appartment in the city center with a horrible sofa-bed - Its location, deco, spacious, clean, 2 wc , checkin -out experience, communication with owner… The apartament is great, everything is fantastic. I gave a 6 instead of 10 just because we were 3 people and the sofa-bed was terrible, really uncomfortable. Is the worse sofa-bed i have ever tried. A nice apartmanet like this really deserves a way better more comfortable sofa bed. I have no other complaints besides this
• Eleni (10/5): Absolutely perfect! Great location, clean and comfortable apartment, higher than expected! - Great location, quite area but very central. We could go everywhere on foot in a short time even to the train station. The apartment is renovated, very clean, comfortable beds, the kitchen is fully equipped, we liked that there is a nespresso machine. Very convenient the fact that each bedroom was big and has its own bathroom. Extra room to leave your baggage. There is no elevator but it's no hard to get to the apartment by stairs. There are no keys, the door opens via an application.. we had no problem with that at all! Although it was not a major problem at all for us, I 'd like to mention that in one bathroom there is only shower ceiling but in the other bathroom there are both shower ceiling and shower phone.

The location is fantastic, right in the center of Bologna, making it easy to explore the city. The apartment itself is spacious and ideal for two couples or a family of four. Each room has its own private shower, and there’s plenty of storage with a huge wardrobe and a walk-in closet. The views of the city are breathtaking, and despite being centrally located, it’s incredibly quiet. It truly has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Highly recommended!

It has everything we needed for our two night stay and is well located to reach the main historical sites. Although the view is over a back area, you still see some of the famous towers over the roofline.

Everything you need in the apartments (inc. hairdryer, iron, dishes and so on). Enough space for 4 people - separated rooms and bathrooms. Good wifi. Keys via phone application is a good thing but what if you forgot your phone or it was stolen or just turned off? Stairs to the apartment was not a problem for me, but for my mom was :( Didn't totally understand the garbage system, the instruction was not really clear.

• Jarosław (8/5): Bologna is one of the most beautiful cities in the world and we will come there for sure. - The location and view from the window were fantastic, the entire building with the historic stairs – beautiful. We really liked the cleanliness of the apartment. There is no wardrobe for clothes in the apartment and no hangers for coats. We didn't like the bedding: instead of a duvet cover, there were only two sheets – the duvet was between them and all this uncomfortably rolled up during sleep. The only spice in the kitchen was salt – it would certainly be nicer if there was also pepper and maybe olive oil. There was only one cutting board and only one large knife – a paring knife was missing. The owner is helpful only to a certain extent, we hoped for more involvement from him.

Fully renovated flat, with a great blend of history, modernity & comfort. Not much to note. Room to improve on a couple of details like toilet paper, towel & coat hangers.

• Gaukhar (10/5): Exceptional - Location, cleanliness, history The apartment is located in a historic building in the heart of Bologna. All the main attractions of the center are within walking distance. I especially liked that the apartment is located in a palazzo on Piazza Aldrovandi. The square becomes noisy in the evening and is full of tourists and cafes, but the windows of the apartment overlook a cozy courtyard with absolute silence. Apartment is very sunny but well equipped with air conditioning. Each room has a cooling system. Everything fully corresponds to the description, everything you need for living you will find inside. Newly refurbished, all appliances are in good working order. Everything is very clean, no foreign smells If you love history you will like that the apartment is located in the historical Palazzo Martinetti-Rossi building. Access to the floors of the building is via a unique spiral staircase built in 1616. -
