- Ferenc (10/5): - The house is spacious, bright, and very comfortable. It is in a great seaside location with easy access to hiking trails. We enjoyed the large yard, private dock, hot tub, and BBQ. There is also plenty of wildlife in the area; we saw deer roaming the street every evening The house faces a bay rather than the open ocean. While it is located only 2–3 km from downtown Sooke, it takes about 25 minutes to drive into town since you have to travel all the way around the bay

- Karen (10/5): A beautiful place to stay and explore Sooke and surrounding parks. - Beautiful home with plenty of space for 8 adults and 2 kids. The dock and beach were great for seeing all kinds of sea life - seals, clams,crabs and star fishes. Property was quite private. Beds were comfortable. A bit of a drive into Sooke from the property but it was worth it, as the home was perfect for our needs.
