Guest Reviews
- Елеонора (8/5): - The location, the atmosphere, all necessery things were available A bit noisy building, lack of space for more luggadge
- Ruyters (4/5): -
- gaby28 (8/5): Cosy location near Turkish restaurants - The bed was cosy, the bathroom had all the necessary items, there was a clothes iron, hair dryer, etc. There really wasn't anything that we felt was missing.
The neighborhood is super nice, plenty of Turkish restaurants with really good and tasty food. After booking, the host asked us to pay either a big deposit to "cover for possible damages" or a damage waiver, none of which were mentioned beforehand. We refused both options and they "happily waved that for us".

- Paul Maximilian (6/5): Great location but the hidden fees, noise and general upkeep could definitely be improved. - The location of the room, right in the center of Dalston and close to Kingsland High Street, is great. The Wi-Fi worked well and unlike what a previous guest had mentioned, there was a small tube of shampoo in the shower and two sets of towels. There are some hidden costs that future guests should be aware of: After booking, you’ll receive a text message from a third-party website (not Booking.com) asking you to pay either £25, which is non-refundable, or a £250 deposit. This feels quite sketchy and since most people wouldn’t risk the higher amount, you end up paying an extra £25 that you won’t get back.
The studio is extremely noisy! It’s almost impossible to sleep through the night, as you constantly hear people coming and going, slamming doors, talking or playing music. The window blinds also don’t block much light, so unless you’re used to sleeping in a bright room, you’ll probably find it difficult to rest properly.
The room itself has definitely seen better days, with scratches and marks on the walls and some quick fixes that make it look less neat than in the pictures. It’s also smaller than it appears online.
I couldn’t find the keys right away either, as there’s another lockbox behind the apartment door that isn’t the right one. I called the provided phone number and got help immediately though, which was appreciated.

- Lauren (7/5): Good value for money, cosy, a little noisey. - Clean, cosy and great location Tv didn’t work properly, very noisy throughout the night, doors slamming etc, hot water for shower took ages to work.
- ponsa (6/5): - Even if the studio looks exactly like in the picture it is really very small. It’s quite noisy when other guests walk into the property and it needs some loving especially the painting. The windows in the first floor are directly to the trash bins.
Also there is an unexpected waiver fee before arrival.
Otherwise location is good and well connected and studio has a plenty of amenities.
- Patricia (9/5): This is a comfortable place to stay with easy access to all different areas of London. - This studio flat is in a great location with easy access to public transport. There are lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. The communication with the host was excellent. The flat would be a little small for two people particularly if they had a lot of luggage but it was perfect for me on my own. There is a comfortable bed with good linen. Black out curtains would be helpful as there is a street light outside making the flat quite light overnight. The fan was helpful as it was quite hot.
- Agnes-Ingra (8/5): - Cosy, small room. Floor sweeping brush would be nice
- Scott (10/5): Exceptional - Such a smooth stay. I didn’t have to worry about a single thing!
- Nesha (8/5): Good location, comfy place - It’s my second time booking the place, I book it because of its location, easy to reach everywhere with transport, lots of restaurants ( Mangal, Turkish restaurant nearby, delicious Turkish food) and shops around. Quiet street. Some variety of essential bathrooms needs like shampoo and body wash can be in great help for this price. I had to buy a shampoo to use for 4 days and left the bottle there.
Some variety of good coffee for the machine there can be also good. There were 2 capsules only and I bought a box of capsules. Little things like that make big difference for satisfaction.
The room was not as clean as expected , I asked the cleaner and she vacuumed it while we were out.
- Karen (5/5): Great location - The location was the best thing The communication was ok but they didn’t respond to request for early check in. Also the check in time was very late at 4pm, but still expected a 10am check out. They did respond very quickly when I had issues with the hot water
- Karen (6/5): Clean comfortable good location - It was clean and in an excellent location very near two good rail lines
- Giuseppe (5/5): Passable - The room was a bit too tight for a couple and the hygiene in the bathroom wasn't up to standard (the rims of the sink and shower drains were brown with lack of thorough cleaning ).
The entrance walls and the main wall in the room were patched up with non matching colours which gave the place a very shabby look all over .
Definitely not a 9 rating for us, but an average of 4/5.
When booking.com tried calling them, they never picked up regarding a query .
