• Ranjan Prakash (1/5): - It was a disaster. They gave me the wrong key. There were a couple sleeping inside the room when I opened the door. It was a bitter experience having to stay outside in the cold and windy weather. We had to stay outside the apartment until the police rescued me because I didn't know where to go at the time. I tried to contact them so many times but they didn't pick up the phone. Fortunately, the police helped me a lot and took me to another hotel around 4:00 a.m. Unfortunately, the property was unwilling to take responsibility for their mistake or offer transport back from the other hotel. When I complained, the respondent deferred responsibility and told me to contact the booking.com. I had to spend my own time and money on taxis. Worst of all, I missed the important meetings that were the primary reason for my trip to Brussels. In addition, getting a refund for the first night was a nightmare; I had to argue back and forth, and they were very reluctant to process the refund. I had to repeatedly justify my request to refund for the first night that I spent in another hotel. It was unnecessary pressure and it took more than a week to receive the refund. Surprisingly, they asked me for a 250 EUR guarantee after I had paid the full amount for accommodation in advance. They didn't provide me with the apartment details until I deposited 250 EUR as a guarantee, which is not normal. If I had known earlier, I would not have taken this apartment. They said it takes time to get a refund, which is normally three to seven days. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. We could feel the internal springs, and was impossible to or leave without disturbing the partner. There was no mirror, both Netflix and YouTube didn't work easily. The location was excellent, otherwise the accommodation issues this apartment is overpriced and not worth the price we pay.

• Audrey (9/5): Overall, great location, comfortable, clean. Would book again. - The location was really good in terms of being close to a station that is connected to Brussels midi, where I was travelling from the next day. It is also close to many tourist attractions, a lively area with food and shops, and generally near things you'd need. There is a Carrefour supermarket on the street. The apartment itself is a studio type apartment, with its own shower/toilet/sink, and a little kitchenette with fridge. Overall, a good little hub to spend a few days in Brussels or use as an overnight stay before travelling by Eurostar to London. The keys were easy enough to get once I'd found the building, and there is a little elevator for 1 person plus a suitcase. The customer service whatsapp was really responsive and nice. It's not clear from the street what the number is, so I wandered for a while. The initial area outside is a little rough around the edges, but overall I felt safe enough. The neighbours can be noisy and slam their doors a lot but I could tune that out. The damage deposit was 2x what the cost of my stay was, and was taken before my stay to be returned after check out. I think this information needs to be provided at the point of booking, so that customers aren't surprised by this. It was returned a day or so after I'd checked out, in full.

• Τατιάνα (8/5): Good for a short stay near the center. - Very well situated, near the center of Brussels and a couple of bus stops. Small but adequate for one person or a couple. Good for sleeping, preparing a simple meal, but not spending too much time inside. Windows look at the skylight, so no view and little natural light. Noisy neighbors woke me up at 4:00 a.m. and kept fighting, shouting and talking loud for about an hour.

• Sebastian (1/5): Misleading listing, poor comfort - only location saves it. - The location was excellent — very central and convenient for exploring the city. The apartment was nicely furnished and had a pleasant, modern feel (aside from the bed situation mentioned below). We also appreciated the Netflix setup, and the coffee machine was a thoughtful touch that made our mornings much better. Unfortunately, the apartment does not match the description. The listing mentioned one sofa bed in the living room and one bed in a separate bedroom, but there is no separate bedroom: only one living space with a sofa bed. The sofa bed is uncomfortable for two people, and because it’s placed in a corner with one side against a wall and window, it’s nearly impossible for the person sleeping on that side to get out without waking the other. The headboard is also directly against the elevator shaft wall, so you hear every movement of the lift and people passing by. Since the bed is next to the entrance door, morning noise from the hallway is unavoidable. Earplugs were kindly provided, but you’d need professional-grade ones to block out the sounds. There are also several maintenance issues: no mirror, a bathroom door that doesn’t close properly, and a shower head that keeps falling down, which makes showering frustrating. At around €125 per night, this feels quite overpriced for what is essentially a small studio with a sofa bed, rather than the advertised one-bedroom apartment. The photos are cleverly framed and don’t show the actual layout, leaving a misleading impression. I hope the host and Booking.com update the listing to more accurately reflect the space and conditions so future guests know what to expect.

La cama está pegada a la puerta de acceso al alojamiento y esta a su vez al lado del ascensor y aunque no había apenas movimiento de personas, este se oía mucho.

• arjan (1/5): Beware: you might end up not getting what you have booked - The only good thing here was the location. The little studio did look tidy as well. Very upset with this booking as the actual studio reflected in no way what i'd booked. Even worse, the matter of fact way this was dealt with by the host by simply suggesting it was was i'd booked. The offer clearly indicates a 40m2 room with sleeping sofa and additional bedroom. In reality it was only a small studio with a sofa bed, which did not suit us at all. As the host was not willing to come up with a suitable solution, we had to book another hotel. The whole booking process had already been somewhat annoying as you immediately have to check in on some platform they use. In total I received 7 messages through this booking process, 2 were 58 lines long. Undoubtedly well intended, but unmanageable whilst traveling. In short: I didn't get what I'd booked, got cheated out of 173 Euros that way and wouldn't recommend this as a result. I can of course back this up with all the details as I shared them with booking as well.

• Kayleigh (8/5): Good and affordable place to stay - Great spot to stay to explore most of Brussels, beautiful places to sight see, loads of shops nearby. The staff was super friendly and quick to help with everything. The little studio itself has most things you'd need to come back to and relax after a good day out. Checking in and out was also made super easy. I would definitely choose to stay here again. We struggled a little the day we arrived with the neighbours, it can be very noisy especially if you're wanting to have the windows open. The showerhead kept falling down so we put it up with a hairtie so we could have a normal shower (this solved the issue very well). The bed, which is a fold out couch, was also not the comfiest with springs stabbing my side all week. But these were the only issues we really had which are only minor things... besides that we had a lovely time
• Marharytach (8/5): Very good - Apartment is clean and very well equipped with all the main things you may require during your stay. Check-in process is perfectly organized - we've got detailed instructions on how to get into the apartment in advance before our arrival and it was extremely easy to follow them. The owner was available for the support during the whole stay and was very responsive. Nearby the apartment you can find a lot of cafes and restaurants as well as supermarkets, Central and Midi railway stations are also within the walking distance (10 and 20 mins accordingly), Grand-Place is in 5 mins walk, so location is really good. Apartment is really small, I think that for more than 2 people it would not be much comfortable (as even for 2 of us it was a bit challenging, especially talking about kitchen and bed). In the bathroom you need to get used to the shower as a curtain doesn't always prevent water from leaking onto the floor.

Bed (sofa bed, not a real one) is very small and uncomfortable. And very loud resident neighours on the top floor. Shouted the whole night. Couldn't sleep.

• Izabela (4/5): The next time I stay in Brussels I will not come to this apartment. - Location and the apartment was clean. I am not satisfied with the host's attitude. He decided to do a routine inspection in the middle of my stay there. I told him that I have no problem with that, but that it would be right for him to do it when the apartment is not booked. He charged me 25 euros because I asked to enter the apartment 3 hours earlier, reminding me that if I stay after 11 at check-out he will charge another 25 euros. The apartment's front door is old and drafty, and the bed is right next to it. He left only one pair of towels for four days.
• Mariana (6/5): Fair - The location was excellent, with plenty of shops and a subway station nearby. It was within walking distance of the city’s main attractions, making it easy and enjoyable to explore without needing public transport. Being so close to the main square, as well as great spots for food and drinks, was a huge plus! The apartment itself was well-equipped with everything needed for a short stay, and the shower had great water pressure—perfect after a long day of sightseeing The biggest downside was the bed—as it’s a sofa bed, it wasn’t comfortable at all. Every time one person moved, the whole bed would shake, making it difficult to sleep well. I really don’t understand why a proper bed wasn’t provided, especially since most guests will likely spend their days exploring the city rather than folding up the sofa to sit and watch TV. The shower pressure was great, but the boiler is too small, providing only about 20–25 minutes of hot water. As someone with curly hair, washing my hair takes time, and on the day I did, my husband had to wait over an hour before he could shower to ensure he’d get hot water. On our first night, my husband showered first, and by the time it was my turn, the water started turning cold—I had to rush through and even finish with cold water. With temperatures outside close to or below 0°C, a long, hot shower after a cold day out would have been amazing, but unfortunately, we couldn't fully enjoy that comfort.
• Mariah (9/5): Over all was great value for money, great facilities and great hosts. - To access the studio it was self check- in, which was easy to do, the hosts stayed consistently communicating to ensure our stay was good. Any questions we had they replied as soon as possible, and any problems they fixed in the same day. One of the best features was the netflix and YouTube on the tv that was already working and easily accessed, which was great. The wifi wasn’t as strong however we had full service. It was very convenient to have access to a kettle, coffee machine, hair dryer, toaster & iron. The location was great, nearby many shops & the metro ( walking distance ). Only downside was the hot water running out after certain usage & had to wait 30 minutes for it to reset & they could do with having a mirror in the bedroom ( only had one in the bathroom ).
