Robert (7/5): The place worked well for a short stay and a large group. We would have enjoyed it more if you could see outside of the - It was a 13 minute walk to downtown which was nice. The place was clean and overall worked well for our group. We were able to arrive 30 minutes before check in and when messaging the host she was responsive. Most of the windows were completely covered during our stay. When I sent a message to the host she said she didn't know and would get in touch with someone and follow up. A family member did arrive and only took the plastic/paper/tape off of two windows near the door. Many windows upstairs and downstairs were left covered during our stay. The host never followed up as stated and never explained why they didn't remove the plastic so we could see outside. I understand they are trying to sell the place and decided to paint it, but covering the upstairs and downstairs windows while people are paying full price to stay there was not acceptable. There was only one thermostat for both floors so upstairs was warmer than downstairs due to this. There were a couple of other minor inconveniences, like the batteries not working in the lighting/fan remote upstairs. Batteries were brought over, but those didn't work either so we just switched the batteries from the downstairs living room and upstairs bedroom when we needed to turn the lights on or off or use a fan. Light bulbs were missing and/or not working. Honestly we were not there long enough for it to matter.

Mary (10/5): Exceptional - We are a group of senior women and this home was perfect. We each had our own room. It was chilly so we didn't use the pool. But it was really cozy and everything we needed. Great location, price, and plenty of room for 5 friends to catch-up with one another. Really nothing. It was all good.
