• Michael (3/5): Very disappointing. - Location at Brighton Marina is good for access to areas east of Brighton. We were very disappointed and communicated with the property company. Be aware that the property is covered in scaffold, that workers are looking into the windows before 8am, that the balcony is inaccessible and cannot leave the windows open. The shower in the master bedroom is the size of a telephone box, One of the neighbors enjoys weed and the smell permeates the apartment. Key pick up and drop off was clumsy. We were VERY disappointed considering the cost.

• Kenneth (6/5): Pleasant flat but the basics such as keys that work, enough bed linen and cutlery were inadequate - The flat was very comfortable, clean and the corner balcony was private. The allocated parking space is a bonus. The area was quiet at night and felt very safe. A selection of restaurants, pubs and bars are a short walk away. There is a very good bus service from the marina into the centre of Brighton. I live at the marina and booked the flat for three relatives. The key for the main entrance didn't work despite many attempts and the shop we collected the keys from couldn't help. Fortunately a neighbour of mine in the same block was able to lend us a spare key. This would be a big problem for anyone who is a stranger to the marina. There were three guests but no bed linen was provided for the second bedroom. Kitchen utensils were provided but there was no cutlery, not even a spoon to stir a cup of tea. The toilet in the ensuite does not flush properly and the plug in the bathroom does not hold water in the washbasin.
