Guest Reviews
- James (10/5): - Great stay at the Dome. Alex was very friendly and helpful during our stay!
- Celine (7/5): - Host was lovely, beautiful location and scenery. Thank you for the stay.
- Karol (7/5): Interesting experience - The idea and experience, host was super commutative and instructions are clear Not that I didn’t like but a better heater would be better, having the option of coffee or tea inside the pod would have been better. Maybe a standing mirror too.
- Priyank (7/5): -
- Dylan (10/5): Defo will be back - Peace and quiet. Alex very friendly and lets you be in peace with no distractions or disturbances
- Rekha (1/5): -
- Joyce (10/5): So peaceful and the host Is lovely. We will return and hopefully catch the northern lights next time. - The whole experience was amazing. The dome is warm and cozy even in the autumn season.
- Anne (1/5): -
- Christel (8/5): Quiet night in a bubble - Nice welcome from Alex who helped us as we arrived quite late with bad weather & night. He cooked for us a pizza we bought. Fresh coffee and tea pot in the morning:-)
Lots of tips & information for visits in the area.
After the rain stopped in the morning, the curtain opened and the mist disappeared thank you for the heater☺️), we enjoyed the autumnal colors on the Burren.
Calm and relaxing garden. We didn’t cook, so that the boiler was enough to prepare bottles of tea which was available in the cupboards.
Because of the rain and the condensation there was humidity…like in a tent, which is normal but good to remember😉. With the heaters also in the bed was everything 👌🏻!
- Robyn Yoga (10/5): Gorgeosu views and very peaceful - Gorgeous views. Very clean.
- Raul (7/5): -
- Sherri (8/5): Fun adventure with great views. - Super rural with cows looking into dome. Alex met us and was friendly and informative. Great area for hiking but we timed our visit to coincide with rain. Somewhat confusing to find without information email indicating where to find key and further instructions.
- Fiona (7/5): Lovely part of Ireland to stay in. - Shower was good and bed comfortable. It was not possible to cook or warm up any food as there was no facilities. We had a kettle and a toaster. I would have preferred a hand rail on steps from path to courtyard as steps were quite steep.
- Theo (10/5): - We stayed here in the most beautiful glamping pod and had the most amazing day and night! The hosts were absolutely incredible so kind and welcoming. They gave us so many helpful recommendations on places to eat and things to do, and even went out of their way to buy us wood for the fire, which made the evening extra special.
The pod itself was spotless and so cozy, and the kitchen and bathroom facilities were fantastic everything we could possibly need was there, including coffee, tea, milk, and cereal. It was such a thoughtful touch and really made us feel at home.
Most importantly, we felt so safe and truly welcomed throughout our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway.

- Natasha (9/5): Off the grid stay - Something different! Cute off the grid stay. Would recommend Kinvara - nearby town. Dog friendly 🐶

- Jeff (1/5): Worst accommodation experiences of my life. - Please read my whole story before booking this place. We booked the Luxury Glamping Dome with views of the Burren to celebrate our 10-year wedding anniversary, and what was supposed to be a magical experience turned into one of the worst accommodation experiences of my life.
We traveled 3 hours to get there, only for problems to start immediately on arrival. I had contacted the host in advance with my arrival time, and 15 minutes before arriving I messaged again. Upon arrival I messaged and got no response, so I called him. He told me there were instructions in a link he had “previously sent” – which he had not. Only then did he send it and apologized.
Shortly after, he messaged me asking for a €100 security/damage deposit, refundable the next day “in good faith.” This was never mentioned on Booking.com nor in any of his prior messages. I refused to pay it.
When we entered the dome, we immediately noticed two issues:
No bed for my daughter (our booking was for 2 adults + 1 child, which Booking.com allowed).
WiFi was not working.
When I contacted the host, it took him time to reply. He came over and seemed surprised that I was even able to book for 3 people, insisting his listing was for max 2 people and no kids. He then started suggesting that we leave and he would refund us.
After some back and forth, he offered to add a bed for €60, then reduced it to €40, but we refused. While doing so, he complained that Booking.com shouldn’t have allowed us to book for 3 people, and said he had “too many expenses” and couldn’t have us there for the €127 that Booking.com charged us. Again, he suggested we leave, adding that he “didn’t want a bad review from us.” Eventually, we agreed to leave as long as he refunded us immediately. He transferred the money through Revolut and said he would cancel the booking.
As we were packing, my daughter started crying, saying she didn’t want to leave. The host then changed his mind again, offering to provide a bed for free “if the little one wants to stay.
- Johanna (10/5): Incredibile - Struttura fantastica e proprietari gentili e disponibili . Una veri gioiello nel Burren da non perdere

- Guy (9/5): -
- Laura (10/5): Lovely spot - It was a fab experience, the place was spotless. Bed was comfy and lovely location. Hosts were so kind and would recommend the stay. N/A
- Mary (10/5): relaxation overload - location was great to explore the area. The dome was clean and well presented having to leave
- Amanda (9/5): Perfect glamping getaway - The dome exceeded our expectations, it was a brilliant experience and very comfortable. We were able to bring our dogs which is such a win for us and the adjoining facilities were perfect.
- Aparna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sinead (9/5): Superb -
- Joe (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nehrini (7/5): Great glamping experience with good facilities, tiny touches make it great. - The dome has a nice view of the burren and was warm and comfortable. Good glamping experience with good kitchen and bathroom. Very nice that pets are allowed. Dome also had a space heater which was very nice and electric blankets which really helped as it's winter. Bathroom and kitchen are a bit far away if you're caught in bad weather.
- Clive (10/5): Beautiful night under the stars in the Burren - Hosts were lovely and welcoming. Location close to Burren national park was excellent. Beautiful dark skies at night. Great experience
- Vlogs (3/5): Poor -
- Denis (4/5): Disappointing -
- Carmen (10/5): Magical and pet friendly - It was fantastic to sleep being able to see the stars. There’s a little heaten so we were cozy and warm.
We bring our kitten with us because the Dome is pet friendly!
You have your own complete kitchen and bathroom next to it so is very comfortable.
Alexander gave us some wood and we did a fire camping night next to it. I loved everything I will recommend it 100%
- Levi (10/5): Awesome Stay on one of our last days in Ireland - We loved this stay and experience! A must stay if your in the area. Host was great with things to do in the area! Best mattress we had entire stay in Ireland. My wife that is always cold was toasty under the nice comforter and with little heater! Great place!
- Michael (9/5): Superb - Location was fantastic & quiet/just what we needed away from the norm of lifestyle & would DEFFINATELY book again in the future
Our host Alex was VERY WELCOMING & the facilities where GREAT The only downside of our stay was that the small fire burner wasn't on during the evening/night,which would've made it alot nicer to stay outside longer
- Ashley (10/5): The Hosts Alex and Carol were excellent!! They made you feel welcomed from start to finish. We had a bad thunderstorm fo - The property was fantastic and private! Only a short spin to Kinvara and other areas. The view was perfect too. Have nothing bad to say about the property it was exactly as described!
- Maria (9/5): Superb -
- Nicole (7/5): Great glass dome - The location, the view of the Burren and the glass dome are great, the bed is extremely cosy and comfortable and it's very quiet and peaceful. Sleeping in the dome was a brilliant experience! We booked way in advance for two adults and a thirteen-year old, but when we arrived everything was prepared for two people only. Setting up the third bed was not a lot of effort, but we were disappointed that it was not done properly in advance. We also never got the third chair as promised by the host twice. We were not aware of the fact that there would be another glamping facility on the same site only about 20 to 25 metres away. I could not find any information about this in the description. So it was not as private as we expected, because the people in the tiny house were facing the see-through entrance of our glass dome. Previous guests had already complained about this so the host provided us with an improvised curtain to block the sight, which however fell off after a short time. He said at the very beginning of our stay that he would get a proper curtain done the next day, but did not. The kitchen is ok to prepare breakfast, but unsuitable for proper cooking because the portable electric stove is not strong enough to heat up the pan properly. The host was friendly and had a lot of ideas for future improvements, like an umbrella to get to the kitchen/ bathroom in case of rain. There were a few (missing) details which did not make this a completely pleasant stay for us.
- Karen (7/5): Good - We enjoyed the novel idea of sleeping in a dome. Watching the wild life & views. The toilet, shower room & kitchen facilities were quite a distance from the dome. I would have preferred a closer option, there was room on the grass area for maybe a small shepherds hut.
- Yvonne (9/5): Superb -
- Aoife (8/5): Our stay was extremely relaxing and peaceful - The view from the property was unbelievable it was extremely peaceful and relaxing There’s no curtain or cover on the door so is see through
- Muhammad (10/5): The dome stay was absolutely cozy and the host was super friendly! -
- Hailie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Patrick (10/5): Exceptional -
- Roberta (8/5): Fabulous location . Beautiful setting . - It was a great location and fantastic to sleep in the dome Would have preferred the bathroom a little closer to the dome but not too big a deal .
- Anthony (9/5): Very enjoyable, for our first glamping experience. - We self catered. A top quality mattress would be advisable.
- Nina (8/5): Very good - The location was fab. Our host was extremely helpful and friendly. Towns are nearby for restaurants but we stayed at the premises and enjoyed every minute.
- Alexandre (10/5): Great experience to chill out and be connected with nature.Don’t miss the opportunity to have that experience if you loo - Everything was perfect me and my girlfriend was planning to try this experience a while ago.
Alex and his wife provided everything that we need and also the thing I requested to him to have an incredible weekend.
He also gave a few pieces of advice for us to enjoy around. We went to do a hiking in Eagles Rock and also had a lunch in place called Gallery his suggestion as well.
If you look for a weekend of piece and be connected with nature don’t miss it out. To be honest don’t have anything I didn’t like; bring some snack or easy food to prepare in case you don’t want to go out in the night.
- Manuel (10/5): Amazing experience, 100% recommended. Something different and totally worth it. - Excellent host, really friendly and helpful. The dome experience was amazing, incredible starry sky.
- Stephen (10/5): Wonderful experience. Great location. Amazing host. - Lovely remote and peaceful location. Great views of the Burren. Very welcoming and helpful host. Nice kitchen and bathroom facilities. Very comfortable warm bed. Kindly provided breakfast produce. Make sure you use the Eircode provided by the host to locate the property - otherwise you might struggle to find it!
- Caroline (10/5): A unique experience with stunning views and a wonderful host. -
- William (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cara (9/5): It was a fabulous base for exploring the Burren. - Alex was a wonderful host, very helpful, friendly and accommodating.
- Kearney (10/5): Dome the experience - The views were lovely from the dome. It was so nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of the city and towns. Alex was a fantastic host making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed to make our stay a relaxed and chilled out one. We were provided with lovely fresh bread, eggs and milk, for our breakfast, the dome and annex were spotlessly clean. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and for making breakfast etc. I would highly recommend it for a stay and break away from the norm.
- Clare (10/5): Idyllic perfection - Exceptional location, accomodation and hospitality There wasn't anything not to like! Perfection!
- Mirela (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jessica (10/5): Exceptional - Really beautiful location and an amazing experience to sleep under the stars. Alex was great and gave some great tips for exploring the local area.
- Karl (10/5): Excellent place to stay in the Burren - Awesome spot in the Burren area. The pod is wonderful, slept amazingly every night. Has its own private deck area, and attached kitchen and bathroom, everything you need to be self catering and contained. Really nice and helpful hosts who are very knowledgeable of the area. Will definitely be my first choice when revisiting the Burren. Nothing to add.
- Anonymous (10/5): amazing weekend in nature - great location with loads of nice places to visit less than 10 mins away.
Alex is very welcoming and helped us finding good activities/places to visit.
100% recommended and will definitely be back!!
- Nicola (10/5): Wonderful, we can't wait to return :) - A beautiful location with amazing views. The hosts were so helpful, providing ideas for trips to enjoy, areas to explore, and restaurants to eat out. The dome itself is fantastic. It provides a panoramic view of the forest and night sky while being generous in size. The kitchen facilities and private bathroom were an added bonus. We spent 3 nights, however, would have gladly stayed longer as there was so much more to explore in the area. If you enjoy walking/ hiking and the general outdoors, this is a fantastic spot. Nothing
