Guest Reviews
- Wenjing Jenny (8/5): Great for big family gatherings and big group stay. We loved cooking in the kitchen with plenty of pans, pots, kitchen t - It’s very specious with a large kitchen, two living rooms deck, yard and enough beds for 11 people. The house is not new so some areas especially the doors and windows may need maintenance
- Yuan (8/5): Generally it was a great house to stay for a big group, everyone got their own space. - Big spaces, great for big group Some of things a bit old and needs maintenance.
- Pam (6/5): It was a place to stay but would carefully consider any future stays given the price and condition. - The space was large and gave us room to all be comfortable within the house. We could spread-out and do our own thing when and if we needed to. The beds were comfortable and the bedding clean. Plenty of towels but no face cloths provided. While there was shower wash there was no shampoo and for the price one would have thought this could have been included. The outside space usable an pleasant given the warm weather. The arrival code provided for the lock box did not work so had to ring for another code. The outside of the house looked awful and was poorly maintained. Inside was much better and almost luxury compared to the exterior. The window catches were hardly screwed in and the coffee table in the lounge was covered in sticky slime and cup marks. There were dirty dishes in the cupboard. The shower heads in two of the bathrooms flopped down and could not be used thereafter. The upstairs bathroom toilet for the far room blocked. The blinds fell off the window and were often hard to open and close.
- Neil (8/5): Very good -
- Tania (7/5): Could have been much better if the house was warm and the TV was working. - It was my second stay at the house and I was disappointed as I had had a very good experience in my first stay and I was expecting a superb time at the house with my students. The first time we stayed at the house it was not too cold and we managed to stay warm with the provided heaters. This time it was very cold and there were not enough heaters in the house and we all felt very cold throughout our stay.
Another issue was that the TVs were not working and finally after a few requests the property manager came over on our last night at the house, but she could not make the TVs work either.
It was very disappointing because I was with a group of school kids from Brazil and they could not watch TV in the evenings. They wanted to watch The Lord of the Rings before we went to Hobbiton on Sunday, but as the TV was not working it did not happen. We did everything we could to fix the problem, but unfortunately we left without the kids being able to enjoy any time watching movies. The house was cold and the TVs were not working. Not enough pots and pans either and the dishwasher on the left is not working properly.
- Gerber (8/5): Very good -
- Tania (10/5): Our beautiful house in Rotorua for our July tours from Brazil. - Everything! It was perfect for our needs. Beautiful, comfortable and very spacious. Finding the house was difficult, but a kind neighbour helped us.
- Fov (10/5): Marvellous - We have all the comfort we could ask for. There were enough choices of rooms and everything needed for a family stay. The location is a little tricky to find the first time.
- Xinyi (10/5): Exceptional -
