Guest Reviews
- Alana (10/5): Gorgeous - We extended our stay and we're so glad we did, it was so lovely. Gorgeous part of the world and fantastic facilities. Thank you đ
- Alana (10/5): Piece of paradise - Beautiful location, really great facilities with lovely touches for example a travel cot and log burner and shared electric radiator for drying. Only 3 tents so always space to shower use kitchen and toilets etc. Also they're adding individual kitchenettes which will be great! Views and ambience are stunning, loved getting the fire pit on and chilling out. Beautiful part of the world.
- Shahin (10/5): Beautiful place with amazing hosts. They also offer fantastic farm produce. As a family of four, this is probably one of - Clean, great location, beautiful scenery, overall stunning place
- Kimberley (10/5): - The setting was very very peaceful and quiet with stunning views!
- Linnéa (10/5): - We loved our stay at the Yurts, the surrounding country side and views where spectacular. It rained most of the time but it did not matter as we stayed dry and warm inside the yurt. It was very cosy hearing the rain smatter whilst lighting the wood burner.
In the morning we made it down to the farmyard and our sons got to feed the baby cow, Rosie. It was an experience of a lifetime.
We had our dinners in the local pub (which was partly built 997 years ago) as per Deborah's suggestion and the food was lovely and very friendly staff.
Highly Recommend the whole experience!
Thank you Deborah and Mark!
- Tish (8/5): Friendly host, lovely yurt and location - Perfect location quiet and easy access to other parts to visit There was nothing g to dislike
- Sophie (10/5): - Cosy and easy to access! Very clean and fresh :)
- samantha (10/5): I would return again could .for a quiet break .Lovely for families - Beautiful surrounds .Excellent facilities, The hosts Deborah and Mark wonderful hosts very friendly and welcomed us . The yurts are very clean and comfortable . On entry to wards driving to the yurts the road service was very un level . Just to bear that in mind . One of the Toilets door didnât shut properly. However everything else was very good.
- Neville (8/5): - Yurt was great. Nice and comfortable. Long stone drive not ideal for family cars. Toilets fine but doors not easy to open/lock.
- yasmin (10/5): Last minute booking with the kids and it was just what we was looking for! - Extremely peaceful and super comfy beds! We Couldnât have asked for anything more, the log burner was lovely in the evening. We even fed a baby calf!! Nothing at all, everything was great.
- Tracey (10/5): A beautiful place to stay . Wondetful starry nights. Comfortable yurt. Good facilities on site. All yurts are spaced put - The owner Deborah was very accommodating, met us when we arrived and invited my goddaughter down to her farm to feed her baby calf ! Nothing
- Marek (10/5): -
- Jeff (10/5): Lovely stay, kind hosts, highly recommended! - Clean, great facilities, warm and welcoming host, beautiful stay in nature.
- Lisa (10/5): First time yurter! - Amazing experience. First time staying in a yurt, away from everything, beautiful countryside, quiet and calm. Perfect! The bed was so comfy, bedding exceptionally clean, everything was spot on. Cannot wait to stay again!
- Kelly (8/5): Very good - The yurt itself was lovely and the surroundings were beautiful No hot water all weekend in the shower rooms or toilets, the kitchen hut has facilities for you to use but very dated and not that clean. The fousty smell put us off using it. Smelt like old mould.
- Thomas (9/5): Amazing - The yurts were amazing and so warm There was nothing to dislike , one small issue with the shower but nothing major
- Owain (8/5): Very good - Had a lovely time on the farm , thank you Deborah and family.
- Laurie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Daisy (10/5): Exceptional - We had a lovely trip, the yurt was very comfortable and cosy! N/A
- Oliver (10/5): Wonderful place. Only stopped over for a night en route but loved it, as did the kids. -
- Vic (8/5): Very good -
- Jeanine (10/5): Wonderful visit - The host and the location were wonderful. The host was very friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. The location is beautiful and perfectly located for us to stay and get out and about. Our Yurt was fab. We stayed in a Yurt with Electricity, and it was great to have with a young family. The bed was super comfy, which added to our lovely experience. The bathroom facilities were very clean and well maintained. The kitchen area had everything you needed for a stay. As a solo parent travelling with 2 young kids, I felt very safe here. My kids loved running around the field area, and they loved seeing the cows and horses on the drive into the farm. Nothing
- Rita (10/5): Our stay was very comfortable and enjoyable . - Excellent yurt with everything you need
Spacious clean and cosy
- Gemma (9/5): Superb -
- Cedric (7/5): Beautiful spot, quiet and peaceful. Nice little stove and very cosy which made up for the weather! - Beautiful location away from it all. Lovely owners who were really helpful and welcoming We stayed during a weekend of heavy rain and the yurt did have a small leak. To be fair the owners jumped straight on it and sorted the issue quickly
- Jonathan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Agnieszka (8/5): Nice family weekend in Devon - The location Is beautiful, right in the heart of Devon. It is close to Pennywell Farm, which kids love. The yurt has a log burner, the owner was very nice and friendly. Everything was clean. We booked our stay late in the year, after the weather changed, so I would recommend booking closer to spring or summer.
- Adam (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stuart (10/5): Perfect glamping experience! - Amazing location, so peaceful and quiet, just what the mind needed. Deborah is so lovely and welcoming! Always just a call away if needed! There wasnât anything that we didnât like. We will without doubt be returning again đ
- Nicola (10/5): Bank holiday bliss đđ - Absolutely gorgeous, so cosy with everything we could need for our bank holiday break!
Perfect location and the fact we had no Wi-Fi was bliss! The yurt was beautiful, we were so comfortable. We had our evening meals cooked on the bbq (provided) and when the sun went down, we went into our cosy yurt with the log burner roaring. Slept like a baby!
Fab location for exploring too - we went to Dartmouth, Coleton Fishacres, Brixham, and Paignton Zoo.
The added bonus for us was the on-site bathroom and kitchen - perfect đ No complaints!
- Craig (9/5): Superb -
- Bagley (10/5): A very enjoyable and well needed break! We canât wait to return. - We loved the location of the Yurts, as our trip was for my sons birthday, a trip he wanted to go fishing, we were perfectly placed to go to Brixham, Paignton and Torquay, and our visit to nearby Pennywell Farm just rounded off our visit! Deborah our host was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble for her, upon arrival she gave us some of her own raised sausages, and eggs, my personal favourite was our daily visit of Billy, one of the farm Border Collie Dogs, she is beautiful and I would have loved to taken her home with us! But she is where she belongs, the shared facilities were always available when needed, and very clean, the Yurts are well spaced out so that you are not overlooked, and very comfortable and equipped! Our stay wasnât long enough!!
Thereâs nothing not to like!
- Andrew (8/5): Very good -
- Ruth (9/5): Beautiful location - Beautiful rural location - stunning views & lovely comfortable yurts. Clean and well presented with all the creature comforts and thoughtful little touches like wood for the burner and breakfast from the farm provided for your first morning. Deborah is kind and welcoming - couldnât have asked for more
- Rob (10/5): Exceptional - Deborah and Mark were such fab hosts. Really friendly and accommodating . We had such a lovely time.
Many thanks
- Patricia (10/5): Very happy - Accomodation, furniture, environment. It doesn't apply.
