Guest Reviews
- Artūrs (8/5): Comfortable, compact, historic apartment, well suited to the chosen area of London. - Comfortable, compact, historic apartment, well suited to the chosen area of London. Good location in a quiet neighbourhood. Easily accessible by public transport. Close to Cutty Sark, various small shops, and pubs. I would have liked the apartment to be a little cleaner. Everything else was good :)
- Suzan (1/5): Unsafe and stressful - By far the most traumatic experience we have ever had.
Before our trip, I informed the host that I had recently undergone prosthetic surgery and asked whether a full refund would be possible, as I am unable to use stairs. The host refused this request. While we respected this decision and chose to proceed with the booking, the communication already felt accusatory and uncomfortable, which made me hesitant to raise any further concerns.
Upon arrival, we were unable to enter the property as no keys had been provided. Once that issue was resolved, I immediately inspected the property, documented its condition with photos, and raised concerns about visible damage, mold, and general hygiene. (I am highly allergic and had requested a thorough cleaning). I asked whether these issues would be addressed or if compensation would be offered.
I specifically pointed out a broken sofa and mold in the bathroom. The host came the next day with a replacement sofa but accused us of causing the damage, claiming that “yesterday it was fine.” At that point, I already felt this stay would become problematic, so I calmly requested compensation so we could leave. Instead, the host accused me of fraud, stating that a dog and an additional guest had not been mentioned in the booking. I provided proof of our prior communication and repeated my request to cancel the stay with compensation.
On the second day, we received a complaint that our dog was barking continuously. In reality, our dog had been left alone for a maximum of 30 minutes. Later that day, the host’s neighbor approached us in the street, shouting and behaving in a physically threatening manner. Despite this, the host accused us of animal neglect.
I felt unsafe and trapped in this situation. I contacted Booking.com to request assistance and compensation, but the host refused. As a result, I had no choice but to arrange a pet sitter for the remainder of our stay.
This experience was extremely distressing and unacceptable.

- Samantha (9/5): Excellent stay - Great location for getting to the O2, quiet area and comfortable beds, had everything we needed and excellent communication from the hosts! Would definitely book to stay again next year! The stairs are a little tricky to navigate! Just something for others to be aware of who aren’t as mobile.
Could also really do with a bit of a deep clean tbh as was a lot of dust in areas. Was disappointed there was no coffee/sugar/milk as had to go out and buy my own and then leave it behind. But everything else was there that we needed and genuinely had a great stay!
- Sam (10/5): - The owners kept in contact and gave us all the information we needed. Perfect and cosy and location was brilliant
- Nascamani (10/5): -
- Heather (6/5): Great location and easy access to Greenwich - great location, responsive hosts Little things that would have made all the difference were missing - no hand soap in bathroom or kitchen, no hooks on back of doors to hang washbags or robes, no laundry tablets and only overhead spotlights for lighting (many of which were blown) Also no welcome pack to tell us what to do with recycling or how to use cooker (the markings had rubbed off all the switches so we couldn't use it)

- Daniel (10/5): - Lovely and comfy place close to the Thames path and Greenwich with all its lovely bars and pubs, park and market. And a perfect starting point to discover London (located off the overly touristy places, but still close enough to the city centre). We really enjoyed the London-style house and architecture. Can't think of anything (except for the pubs closing at midnight already :)

- Gemma (6/5): Great location for o2 however house needs some TLC - Great location for an event at the o2. Very close to the high street and shopping areas. Lots of parking close by. The property requires a thorough clean and some general TLC. For example the cups were tea-stained, the living room rug needs replacing, and the shower head was very unclean. There was visible dust in several areas, as well as some signs of mould in the bathroom and main bedroom.

- Norman (10/5): Exceptional -
- Katisha (10/5): Great spot to pitch up at for a concert at the O2 - Great little property in a really handy location - 35 mins walk to the o2 along the Thames Path and 10 into Greenwich town and the station. Everything we needed for a short stay and great communication from the hosts.
- Scott (10/5): Exceptional - Great pad for a London stay - well equipped and well located. We very much enjoyed our time here. Thank you!
- Louis (9/5): Superb -
- Kevin (10/5): A great little place, a short lovely walk from Cutty Sark DLR. Perfect location to explore from. -
- Helen (8/5): Very good -
- Penny (8/5): Very good - The location was great. Had everything we needed. Good communication with property owner Stains on the rug and armchair. Dust behind double bed. Stairs were a bit awkward.
- Roland (7/5): Good Location in Greenwich for Limited time - Greenwich can be explored from the Location. Markets, Restaurants and public Transport nearby.
Overall clean and comfortable.
Ok for some days. Windows in sleeping rooms moldy
Not a lot cuttlery in kitchen.
Greasy extractor hood.
Tiny rooms and steep and narrow staircase. (Did not manage to bring big luggage upstairs)
No shelves in wardrobe.
- Kate (10/5): A gem in the heart of Greenwich - Very clean, comfortable beds, good pressure on shower, location was great - close to everything you could want. Lovely courtyard where we had breakfast outside both mornings (fortunately sunny!) Parking was also easy ( hosts arranged permit at extra cost which was made clear before booking and was very reasonable for the area - £20 per day). We didn't do any cooking but there looked to be everything you would need. It's in a very quiet street too and there was no noise at night even with the windows wide open. I'll happily come back here again
- Krzysztof (8/5): Very good - Nice quiet area. Spacious living room although quite narrow steps up to the bedroom. Lots of restaurants, shops in a distance recommended to go through the pedestrians'tunnel to Canary Wharf side near Caty Sark. Amazing and empty meadow on the other side with a view to the skyscrapers.
For runners lots of choices- Greenwich Park, path alongside the river, or canary wharf reachable through the tunnel Narrow steps.
- Stevejr_b (10/5): Exceptional - Facilities and closeness to Greenwich and Central London. Nothing
- Jill (9/5): Great London break! - Perfect location for getting around Greenwich & using public transport once we were there. Parking was good, right by the house, and not expensive for London (£15 per day). Good kitchen too, not that we used much. Lots of places to eat out. Easy access to River Boats to get around the city. Lots of safe pedestrian walks - good for cyclists too. The spiral staircase would not suit all age groups & I would worry a bit with children, but we were fine. The furniture wasn't the most comfortable, but it was ok.
- Marsha (10/5): Very comfortable & location was super convenient - Great location, 10 mins from Maze Hill train station & Greenwich for the DLR & bus route to The 02 & North Greenwich for London Underground.
Self contained with all amenities for a self catering holiday with shops nearby. Gas top stove with nothing to ignite. And issues with the TV channels.
- James (10/5): Excellent - Great location, nice and clean, great communications Nope
- Clayton (9/5): Superb -
- Gill (9/5): Superb -
- Paula (9/5): Superb -
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional - Almost everything. I think the refrigerator needs to be colder. We were concerned that the milk would go off with the fridge not quite cold enough. The freezer was fine.
- Adam (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marnix (9/5): Superb -
- Belinda (7/5): great location, clean cosy apartment - I’ve c apartment , great location. sofa needs to be replaced as it’s very uncomfortable, springs poking through, but the apartment had everything you needed. easy to get around London, apartment was clean and also has a nice courtyard. it is quite small but the price was very reasonable for London. washing machine wasn’t working so this was an inconvenience with 2 kids. we’re not advised prior (the host said it broke before our arrival and didn’t have time to repair it) but quite inconvenient. also the lounge needs replacing .
