- Shakeel (10/5): An extremely comfortable stay in an excellent location with great shops, food and transport links. - Excellent location with shops, food and transport links. Views from the apartment were great! Great communication with host. Might be the best sleep I've had - the bedding was so sensational that I had to ask the host where it was from so I could buy them for my own bed. I stayed during when the weather was too hot, but there was cooling provided when I asked the host.
- Mary (4/5): - Shabby needed decorating
Light bulb not working in one of the bedrooms
Bedside table not next to bed
Peeling paint around the windows and pain of glass broken
Grubby bath mat and shower curtain
- Stu (10/5): Great location, very clean, beds were super comfy -
- Stu (9/5): Clean and comfortable place clost to everything and bery convenient for the london sights. Abina was very helpful upon c - Location was perfect, short walk to the tube
- Muuse (10/5): Great host, lovely stay - The area is so lovely and the house is the perfect cozy place to come back to after a long day out. Nothing
- Underwood (5/5): We managed but considering the poor maintenance of the property and the building, we will probably not stay again. - Location in South Kensington and next to Sainsbury’s
Comfortable beds
Kitchen
Front desk in building The key pickup and drop off were awkward as Chelsea Food and Wine did not have the key when we arrived after 3pm on the check-in day and we ought to be able to leave the key in the unit itself when we vacate. (We had an early flight to get to.)
Lights were not working in the 2nd bedroom, bathroom mirror and bathroom by shower.
There were only two mugs provided. There should be 4.
Bathroom was missing plug in sink.
One of the two lifts in building lobby was out of service for the whole duration of our stay causing queues and delays, and forcing us to walk down from the 8th floor at times.
- Irene (7/5): -
- Maria (6/5): Location very good, beds super comfortable and bath ok. Common areas are improvable - The property could have been cleaner specially the kitchen The windows in the living room and kitchen were not working well and one was broken. There were leftovers in the fridge
- Lee (7/5): -
- Candace (10/5): Two nights for a quick London weekend. Great, central location in Chelsea to hop around town. - Super friendly host and getting in and out was easy peasy. Elevators were a bit small and one was broken the whole time.
- Francis (4/5): Average. TV & internet barely worked. Expensive. But host was responsive + location was great. - Location was terrific. Host was also very easy to deal with - we highlighted a few problems and he was good in dealing with them. The collection of keys is awful. We had agreed to check in (collect the keys) at 3pm on the day of arrival. To cut a long story short, it took about 90 minutes before we were installed in the property (out of a total of less than 48 hours we had in London). Very inefficient check in process that involved walking back and forth between the property and the key pick up spot (lockbox). Property was also very, very small for a family of five. Tiny bathroom. Tiny kitchen. Tiny bedrooms.
- Ryota (10/5): -
- Stewart (6/5): Good value for money accommodation - Good sized apartment with a great view of the city. Key collection and drop off was a 5 minute walk from the property.
- Linda (10/5): Great location, would recommend - The pick up was from a small convenience store, so no good if you arrived late at night. Only one key which was a bit annoying, when you are travelling with others. Great location, apartment a bit tired but definitely suited our requirements. Lovely part of Chelsea handy to both Sloane Sq and Sth Ken tubestations, great little cafes close by as well as a small Sainsburys and chemist. Just could do with a coat of paint inside
- Gabriela (8/5): Location, location, location - It's within walking distance from the Royal Albert Hall and the museums. There's lots of restaurants around the corner and a Sainsburys almost next door.
The manager of the property was always accessible and very quick to respond to my queries. Big thumbs up to him/her.
The view from the windows is stunning and you can witness a beautiful sunrise. When I went to collect the keys, just after the check in time, the person in charge to handle me the keys cannot do it and it kept me waiting for 20 minutes. I have to point out, that the communication with the manager was always open during this time.
The other downside was that only one lift (with capacity for 4 people with not much luggage) was working and we were on the 8th floor and on the hottest day of the year, so taking the stairs wasn't much of an option. But again, this is out of the flat's manager control.
The flat doesn't have air conditioning and is facing to the east, so the sun rises beautifully in front of your eyes with a beautiful view of the London skyline... But that means on a hot day, and with AC, the room is boiling.
- Tracey (6/5): Great location but at a cost but needs a complete overhaul and a good clean - It was in a good location You had to collect keys from a different location and drop them back not too far away but not really what we expected. The flat wasn’t very clean, found rubbish behind furniture, no bedding available for sofa bed, we had to wash crockery before we could use it, shower not very good, on 8th floor but only one lift working and very small so took a while to get to room
- Craciun (4/5): Great area, filthy apartment - Great area, close to great food shops, museum and metro It was dirty on many levels. Kitchen was unusable, it stank and the kettle had some many layers of disgusting build up that we couldn't even boil water for tea so we closed the door and left it closed. Carpets and couch stained and stinky, carpets not vacuumed, sofa broken, did not want to sit on anything. Glass table had oily finger prints all over. Bed uncomfortable, mold on the walls and windows. Dust everywhere, including the wardrobe. I understand reparations take investment but properly cleaning a place is a must. If you don't clean, you shouldn't rent. I couldn't trust anything I sat on. Pictures are clearly deceiving.
- Jayne (10/5): Exceptional - The location was absolulty amazing, waking distance to chelsea flower show and battersea power station, owners were very accommodating, as my sister left her purse in the apartment, we contacted the owners , owners were great & honest , great communication with them, they kindly posted the purse back to my sister ,and also payed postage, which was lovely of them, I would highly recommend the apartment for location and very accommodating for a comfy stay.
Would highly recommend 👌 N/A
- Sam (9/5): Superb - The location was perfect for Chelsea flower show, the purpose of our trip. Apartment was warm but coolers provided. Beds really comfortable and great to have large bath sheets. Kitchen had everything we needed.
Great having a Sainsbury's next door. Only one lift working so did wait a while and would been hard if 2nd one not working as being on 8th floor, not great for getting luggage up the stairs.
- Hille (7/5): Good -
- Alison (9/5): Great apartment, good value for money - Clean, good location for underground station, good facilities and great contact from the host. Key collection was a little faffy.
- Adrian (6/5): Pleasant - Nice location, baby bed. Fungus in the home, some lights not working in the toilet, only one small lift to the apartment (8th floor) and a lot of people living there so sometimes you need to wait.
- Mateus (9/5): Superb -
- Katy (7/5): Good -
- Nicoleta (10/5): Exceptional - The property was clean, the apartment was beautifully organised and decorated. We had all the appliances needed and the area is very nice and peaceful. I could say this is one of the best places I have stayed in.
- Ronan (9/5): Superb -
- Anne (6/5): Adequate but definitely not luxurious. - Beds comfortable. Good towels and instant hot water. Good view of the City
- Louise (10/5): Lovey stay in central London, cosy apartment with rooftop views and very comfortable beds. - Excellent location, only a 12 minute walk from
South Kensington station. Sainsbury’s next door which was very convenient when travelling with kids. Beds were super comfy. I can’t fault this property, we had a lovely trip and the host was amazing to deal with. Very helpful from start to finish and was always contactable.
- Iurie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Karen (8/5): Royal Albert Hall visit - Prime location, lots of shops and restaurants nearby , good transport options nearby ,including tube and buses.
View from Apartment was amazing ,especially at night .
Apartment was well set out and had everything we needed . Beds were very comfortable . Would have liked the Apartment to have been decorated for Xmas . A small milk would have been appreciated on arrival. There was a lot of personal mail left unopened in Apartment.
The main issue was that only one lift was working and being on the eigth floor this meant long waits sometimes.
- Sarah (8/5): A lovely family stay in a comfortable apartment. It was quiet and in a great location - The location was great, kitchen facilities were very good. The host was in regular contact and efficiently answered any queries we had. It had been cleaned but was still quite dusty with some mould patches due to poor ventilation. A welcome pack with instructions, maps, information would have been useful.
- Colleen (9/5): Great location. Ceiling lights need updating - Superb location, short walk to South Ken tube, and lots of amenities nearby. Breakfast at Daylesford Farm diagonally across the road and dinner at Daphnes in the next street. We spent a day at Westfield shopping centre and a day at the Spirit of Christmas fair at Olympia. The apartment had everything we needed for two nights. Lighting. Many lightbulbs are out. Of 26 ceiling lights, only 14 actually work. No bulbs in the hall at all. Bathroom needs more lighting. The apartment needs updating with its electrics in the ceiling as it’s working with out of date bulbs, hence why the landlord can’t access replacement bulbs and just moving the only working ones around the apartment. They need to invest in updating them to current standards.
- Jessica (9/5): Superb -
- Sharon (7/5): Great value for this location if you just want a base - Location was great and it was fantastic value for money for this area of London . Owner was very helpful and contacted us regularly during our stay. It was small as stated, but definetely wasn’t luxury. It was clean and perfectly fine as we didn’t spend a lot of time there. The old crittle windows do steam up and paint a bit flaky with damp patches in places
- Jeanne (9/5): Would stay again - Most comfy beds ever, felt luxurious Needs a bit of tender loving care in places. There was peeling paint on windows and above windows, toilet door needs repainting, and a few lights need fixing, took a long time to get hall light working, I think an extractor fan would be a good idea in the bathroom as u have to leave the window open to alleviate condensation.
It's a handy venue for the city, very clean, and quite comfortable. Would book again
- Charlotte (8/5): The skyline view and location were fabulous. - The location of the property is brilliant.
- Elizabeth (8/5): Fantastic, clean, good for a family! So close to natural history museum - Cosy, easy to make our own meals.
Comfortable beds.
Lots of space
Clean and tidy. A little hot even with radiators turned off but only minor issue.
- Bharatee (10/5): Exceptional - It is a lovely apartment situated with all facilities. Much better than staying in a hotel Location, cost
