Guest Reviews
- Cathy (8/5): Very good - The apartment was clean and the owners were friendly and accommodating. It was the perfect location for us to visit family. Given that it was a basement apartment, there was a bit of noise from above...however not unreasonable. The bed in one room was a little difficult to get in and out of as it was against a wall. Minor issues overall.
- Rivarola (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tina (1/5): Not as described and poor service - Location to where we needed to be. Booked for two nights. The property was not ready when we arrived even though check in time was agreed in advance, the excuse was he was working and couldn’t use his phone. I had to ask twice for the access information. The bedding was not clean and there were only two towels for four of us and no bedding for the sofa bed which I’d requested in advance. The agent was slow to respond to requests via the app. We left the next morning after staying only one night and moved to a hotel as we weren’t prepared to stay another night.
To be fair the agent did turn up in the morning to explain there was clean laundry in the washing basket and we only needed to take it and make the beds ourselves. I don’t know how we were expected to know this laundry was clean when it was screwed up in a laundry basket on top of a washing machine that we weren’t allowed to use unless we stayed 5 days (notified to us in the long list of house rules).
- Monica (9/5): Superb -
- Twyla (7/5): Good -
- Ehinomen (9/5): 3 nights in Guelph - The apartment was very clean, and the bedroom was spacious with very comfortable beds.
The shower, though small, had surprisingly good water pressure. The shower cubicle was a bit discoloured, little mould starting to form.
We were told not to eat or drink in the bedroom, but there was no table or even side stool in the living room, so you had to place your plate on the floor or on your lap.
Other than that, everything was okay
- Juliet (5/5): Apartment was well located and inexpensive but not very comfortable or clean. - Well located, private, and cheap. Overwhelming smell of air freshener when we arrived. Property lacked some basic amenities such as a dining table, tea towels. Couch — only place to sit to eat since owner requests visitors not eat in bedroom — was broken. Walls and shower stall badly needed cleaning.
- Khaldoon (9/5): Superb -
- Sarah (10/5): Great stay! Host was very hospitable! - Clean with all the necessary amenities!
- Paul (10/5): It was quiet and comfortable. - Close to university. Quiet neighborhood. Easy parking.
- Jen (10/5): Great location, comfortable beds, friendly and responsive host. - Coco was an amazing host! Great location with all the amenities. There was a private entrance and lots of parking on the road. The property had comfortable beds and every thing we needed!
- Gálvez (10/5): Exceptional - Thanks for all
