- Thomas (8/5): A beautiful seaside house - The house is beautiful and spotlessly cleaned. The house mixes lovely authentic woody textures with modern touches and a simply gorgeous kitchen and bathroom. There's an enclosed garden and with only a few minutes walk you can be at a small, quiet beach in East Cowes or at the chain ferry going into Cowes. Within a 30 to 45 minute drive you can access the entire island. We would stay here again! East Cowes is very quiet and everything closes early (including supermarkets) so there's not much immediately here, which without a car to drive round would be a problem. However that didn't bother us much as we just drove all over the island anyway. The owner had arranged a workman to come and do some decorating on the outside of the property by the driveway at 9am on our checkout morning; while I don't have an issue with work needing to be done it is far from ideal to have this on the morning you check out when you need to be sorting your stuff out, packing your car, etc. and I think this should've been done at an alternative time. The street is very busy and thin and the driveway is very thin so if you have a large car you might struggle. It was a squeeze in our Nissan Juke, not a huge car. Finally one of the pictures on the listing is not the property at all (it's a drone shot of a random house next to a sandy beach with groynes, with a white circle round a cottage) which is confusing. The house is described as a cosy coastguard cottage but it is a terraced property. However as I say the house itself is gorgeous on the inside and is wonderfully furnished and a classic wood & wicker style.
- Simmons (10/5): Had a wonderful stay in the cosy coast guard cottage, really enjoyable stay….amazing views of the sunsets - Nicely decorated, felt very homely, comfy bed and stunning views and had everything we needed. Only thing, out door seating, not suitable for us.
- Bielawski (9/5): Superb -
- Mushair (10/5): Exceptional - Best choice for comfort Excellent
- Ben (9/5): Excellent east Cowes house - Excellent house and really well equipped in a great location for the sea, access to Cowes via the floating bridge, and the east side of the Isle of Wight Only issue is one bathroom downstairs but to be honest we quickly got used to this and clever sensor lights help night time wc trips 😁
- Lucy (9/5): Lovely little cottage - Fantastic location, great communication from the owner and lovely little cottage!
- Carol (10/5): Fab will be back - location excellent
- Michael (8/5): Extremely enjoyable wonderful launch point to explore the island.highly recommend - Beautiful location right on the water vocal seagulls the sounds of ferries. Very enjoyable. Just one bathroom downstairs from the bedrooms. fine for a couple, but we had other friends with us. Had to work around it but not a huge deal.
- Gavin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marnie (10/5): If you can find availability here take it - you will be building a lasting memory! - Oh my what’s not to like. It’s adorable Nothing everything was lovely. The bedrooms were cute, comfortable and clean - spacious even. Downstairs uber cute. Kitchen was well equipped much more so than most. Bathroom is beyond awesome the tub is an experience - fantastic one. The lounge and dining room provided more space than excepted for the five of us and the little garden and great vista. Literally no negatives
- Sarah (10/5): Fabulous home from home with beautiful views, brilliant facilities, and location. - The Cottage itself was a perfect, cosy place, great facilities, decor and location was brilliant. Check in and out was so easy. A real relaxing stay. The slight panic in the morning of check in, wondering if it would be cancelled due to the weather.
- Street (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mark (8/5): Very good -
- Keith (8/5): Very good - Good location Just 1 toilet

- Lizzie (10/5): Gorgeous cottage in a great location. Had everything we needed for a brilliant stay. 5 stars - Loved the location. The cottage is a former life guard’s cottage so right next to the sea 🌊 There was nothing not to like .
- Sham (7/5): Good - The hosts was very nice and cooperative
She prepared the extra folded bed in advance
- Lorna (6/5): Pleasant - Views over the harbour Advertised with parking and air conditioning.
There was no air conditioning and the parking was on the street which was always full of motorhomes owned by the houses surrounding as they never moved.
