- Nijumudheen (4/5): Nice property design, but poor maintenance, cleanliness problems, and an unreasonably high cleaning - The interior had nice décor with some cool art pieces and games. The couch was comfortable, the outdoor fireplace was a nice touch, and the tennis court was enjoyable. The property felt quiet and private. There were a lot of maintenance and cleanliness issues during our stay. The road to the property is unpaved, and driving in at night was stressful because of rocks and loose stones. Several lights on the kitchen island didn’t work, and there was a strong odor with a dirty stain on the carpet in the kids’ room. The bunk bed mattress didn’t even cover the whole frame, and the bed was uncomfortable enough to cause back pain. The BBQ area was rusty and dirty, the pool was not clean, and the “game room” is really just a garage with a couple of games. The main bathroom tub didn’t drain properly and was stagnant while showering. We paid a $379 cleaning fee, yet there were visible cleanliness issues, and we were still asked to clean the place before a 10am checkout, which felt unreasonable given the price and condition of the property. Definitely, not worth the price!
- Glory (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was 100%, the property, the facilities, the location, the space, the views, all were excellent. We had a memorable experience staying here and will definitely stay here again. The check-in process was not convenient even though they explained why it was that cumbersome, but I think they should have communicated that clearly before arrival.
