It smelt bad, VERY HOT and couldn’t stay in the room so I had to leave within 30-45mins of arriving! The toilet is smaller than normal! So tiny that sitting on the toilet gave you no space in front of you or to your sides

It looked like a self contained annex but it was just a room in the house. The room was dirty. It was advertised as having an en-suite with a shower and complimentary toiletries . It was a shared toilet with the rest of the family. We could hear the host snoring and the kids woke us up at 7am!!!! Defiantly not worth the £115 per night very misleading

• Leanne (1/5): Dont stay here - It was close to Wembley walking distance The photos on booking.com are not what they seem its someone's house who live there too. It is a spare room in the house, which is very scuffy. Bedding didn't smell clean. Pillows had a stale bedhead smell. We had to bring our own blankets in from the car. My advice is dont book its false advertising. I didn't take photos, but now thinking about it should have to show people how bad it is.

Close to Wembley stadium It wasn't the same room from the pictures, it wasn't a self contained room but a room inside a house where a family lives, sharing the bathroom with them. We were not notified of the change of room. The bed was the most uncomfortable we've ever tried and quite smelly. A very old soft mattress that gave us back pain.

• Emma (5/5): Preis okay, wir fühlten uns unwohl wegen des Fensters - Es war wirklich günstig für Umkreis London und der Gastgeber war wirklich nett, was uns ein gutes Gefühl gegeben hat. Vom Wembley Stadion konnten wir nach einem Konzert einfach nach Hause laufen Auf den Bildern sieht das Bad besser aus als in Echt. Sauberkeit war auch nur okay. Problematisch und echt unangenehm war jedoch dass man auf der einen Seite in den Garten schaut und als wir uns gewundert haben, wozu an der anderen Seite noch ein Vorhang war, wurde und klar dass sich dahinter ein Fenster (!) zum Wohnzimmer des Wohnhauses des Hosts befindet. Ich glaube es waren auch zwei gegenüber liegende Fenster, die jeweils zur Zimmerseite aufgingen und von beiden Seiten war ein Sichtschutz angebracht, dennoch war das wirklich unangenehm. Wir wollten auch nicht genau nachschauen weil die Hosts auch zuhause waren. Wir haben direkt an ihrem Wohnzimmerfenster geschlafen und haben jedes Wort verstanden, das dort gesprochen wurde. Meine Schwester und ich sind beide Mitte 20 und für uns zusammen war es schon unangenehm weil wir uns nicht sicher gefühlt haben. Alleine wäre ich nicht über Nacht geblieben. Wir haben lange überlegt überhaupt eine Bewertung zu schreiben, da der Host wie gesagt sehr nett und hilfsbereit war, jedoch finden wir, dass das mit dem Fenster klar hätte kommuniziert sein müssen. Die Gegend war trotz dessen, dass dort viele Familien wohnen auch eher nicht so dass ich gerne allein dort herumgelaufen bin.

• Blade (8/5): Perfect for privacy, cleanliness and comfort with a 10 min walk to Wembley and trains! - I liked that the room was private with direct access to garden. The bed and bedding was so comfy! The TV was huge, in front of bed at perfect distance and height. The main light was a dimmer set of spotlights and also bedside lamp It was clean and the en suite had an extractor fan with the light. I was able to smoke outside in private without disturbing others or being disturbed and also shelter from rain with comfy garden seating. I do not like complaining and these are only trivial things and if this helps then minor things would be, the water pressure in the shower was very low, I would struggle to wash thick hair. There was no shelf in the bathroom apart from a tilted one that wouldn't take anything. The shelf prevented me cleaning my teeth over the basin. I had great difficulty accessing keys. Couldn't see numbers clearly especially in the dark and with a walking stick. Another automatic light there would help. I could hear noise through glass from room next door. As I said, these are minor issues and did not spoil my stay! (apart from needing the bathroom when trying to access room!).

Stains on the bedding dirty sanitary products left in bin, dirty floor, smelt of cigarette smoke garden over grown with rubbish outside. The area is run down and didn’t feel safe walking back at 10pm this isn’t the owner fault but doesn’t help when you find the accommodation so poor!

Com is a lie..This is not en-suite -this is just a room ,kind of extensions connect to another room which is separated by plastic door ,where they can hear you even when you whisper. The smell of mould is so strong that you can't even stay there .Bedding smells awful. We didn't stay there ,we couldn't accept something like this. The phone number provided on booking. com is fake.We were trying contact the owner from different numbers -unsuccessfully. He only picked up from his girlfriend which was in that room attached to our room.We showed her phone number which we use to contact owner and she said that is not a right number. All these reviews which says that is nice ,clean property-are fake.🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

• Luke (8/5): Very comfortable and within easy reach of central London - Location is easy to get to from central London. The shopping and restaurants around Wembley are good and about 20 mins walk away In winter, if you arrive later then it is handy to use a phone torch as the access to the property is not always lit.
• Radim (4/5): An uncompromising surprise - In the price/quality ratio the place corresponds. Location near the station. What I didn't like is the sink compartment, for longer accommodation I wish good luck to those who want to shave. The water pressure in the shower is slow and one has to accept that the water is either extremely boiling or icy. Another thing is the heating, the owner heated around 8-10h and then the end, we stayed in late November and the cold was quite unpleasant, leaving us without heating in that freezing cold was really great... Next problem is the noise, you can hear everything, the room where you are staying is next to the living room and you can hear the TV, the owner talking on the phone (and that it doesn't bother him for hours) or the kids. I understand that it's someone's home but if you are running a service in the form of accommodation it would be nice if you informed those interested that you have children (and loud ones). One more annoyance, the TV in the room was nice but it wasn't working, it reported a connection error when it started and even on repeated attempts it wouldn't work. It is a rather negative review but take into account that we were travelling as backpackers. We travelled around the city from morning to night, unfortunately we were struck down by illness and needed a day of rest which we didn't get. If anyone is coming here for a long stay, I don't recommend it.

• Murray (9/5): Great value for the money and was good for a short stay. - Well situated if you’re looking for something close to Wembley, roughly a 20-25 min walk away. Seemed to also be quite a quiet area. Also had the basic necessities. Bed was quite comfy and had a decent tv. The shower was a bit pernickety and I had to play about with it for a while to find the right temperature because it was either freezing cold or boiling hot. Also the water pressure almost disappeared with the hot water.

Mattress is uncomfortable and needs replacing. Very poor shower water pressure. No cup or glass in room. Bathroom sink has protruding shelf above so can't use for cleaning teeth or shave. Overlooking garden was untidy

The next room you can hear every sound. They turned it off at 10pm, but if you want to sleep earlier it is quite impossible It is close to Wembley but still took quite good 20 mins walk.

The letting agent did not supply the full address after messages and 2 phoncalls until we was on the street. We had to disturb the another tenant to get into the property. 2. No outside light for night time, negotiating the gate and the door to the room. 3. Bed extremely uncomfortable, could feel every spring and pillows were like handkerchiefs. 4. Television not connected to an aerial and no freeview. 5. Bathroom sink very small, about 6" x 10" and a shelf almost directly above so washing, shaving and teeth cleaning made a considerable mess.
