• Caroline (5/5): Terrible bed - Central location No Sea view - there are 2 apartments and the one we stayed in had a balcony over looking the Main Street (we were expecting a sea view). The bed is terrible. We had to put the mattress on the floor as the bed frame is very shaky, unstable and noisy. It is the most basic of frame and not suitable for 2 adults to sleep on it. We had to move to alternative accommodation the next day but we were given a full refund.

• Martina (8/5): - Die Lage war für uns perfekt! Mitten in der Altstadt und wenige Meter zum Strand! Das Badezimmer ist aufgrund des Altbaues( besonders die Dusche) sehr eng, aber es war alles da, was man braucht!

Väldigt otydligt att det var två olika rum, en med balkong mot gatan och en med balkong mot vattnet. Skulle vara ärligare att tydligt skilja bilderna på de två olika boende i annonsen. Sängen var hård och ranglig, dåligt utrustat kök.
• Scott (8/5): Great view and location in a stunning town, and whilst value for money shortcomings need noted - View from the Seaview Suite was spectacular adding to the excellent location in a great part of Cefalu, with really easy access to shops and restaurants off the main shopping drag. Support from staff was also very good, especially pre arrival. Good spacious room, large comfy bed and although up a flight of stairs access was easy. Some street noise, although limited, drifted into the appartment. Should also note that whilst the balcony and view were fab (from this not the other appartment which has mainly a street view) you only get the sun late afternoon/ early evening.

• Travis (9/5): Lovely stay in a beautiful city. - The property has a really cool feel. It’s also huge. It’s comfortable, in a good location very close to the beach and many bars and restaurants. I liked how dark you can make the apartment as well if you’re sleeping in past 7AM. It’s quite tough to reach from the train station if you’re on a long trip with a few heavy bags, but if you’ve packed light, it’s really pleasant.

We loved Cefalu so much we were barely in the apartment anyway! Bed was firm which we like! (which seems to be hard to find in Sicily). Surprisingly quiet at night considering it’s on a busier street. We slept well :) PS next to a cocktail bar called Bordomari - you must go for a sunset cocktail. Vibe and view are amazing! The bathroom was pretty rough - especially the shower. But the soap provided smelled amazing! There’s a couple small things that could be improved to make the space a little more homey and comfortable. (Rugs, decor)

• Tomasz (9/5): Superb - The view from the room is amazing. The location is also great. The room was clean and nicely designed. The information about the parking lot should be clearer. The place when you can park your car is far away from the apartment and it's an unpleasant walk if you have a lot of luggage (rugged, cobbled street). You can't even enter a car to drop your luggage as the city center is monitored and you'll automatically get a ticket from the radar. Parking lot is not cheap.
• Emily (10/5): Breathtaking views in the heart of old town - An absolutely beautiful stay. The photos don’t do the view justice. The location is also in the heart of the old town and couldn’t have been more perfect. The old town is definitely where you want to stay. Water plumbing was a little slow so shower would overflow quickly. Need to have very short showers or on a lower pressure - not a dealbreaker at all.

The view cannot be beat. Love to wake up in two days beautiful beast, front coastal walk to the seafood restaurant Promenade. We have to find a car parking wishes you cannot drive in the city

Very close to the smaller side of cefalu beach which is nicer and meant we could easily nip back to the flat midday. Bed isn’t comfortable as you can feel the springs & the shower is tiny with one sided door only so the water can flood the nearby area. shower is powerful though.

• Kaldany (10/5): Exceptional - This room was incredible!! The location absolutely cannot be beat - ocean view with a balcony, and right in the heart of the historic downtown. The room was very clean with a private bathroom. I would definitely come back, and could not recommend it enough. The only downside if you are traveling by car, you cannot drive into the ZTL or you will be ticketed, so you will have to walk a short distance (~1-1.5km) with your bags. Was not a problem for us since we had a short stay with small bags, but I can imagine it would be less convenient with more luggage.

• Jolien (9/5): Amazing stay for the night - The location and the view are priceless. It's a quiet apartment with all the comfort that you need. The bed, communication, bathroom, ... was perfect. We spend most of the time outside and think that the room was big enough for two adults. Our neighbors left very early, and the light in the stairway brightened up the room (came in under the door). This is very easy to fix by putting something into or against the crack under the room. This would not keep me away from this lovely apartment.

We finally figured you had to push the toilet button 3 times quickly to engage the flushing mechanism. We have traveled throughout Europe for several decades and never encountered a toilet that operated in that strange manner. Maybe a sign above the toilet would be helpful.

The apartement is in the city-center and on the other side of the road is a delicious ice cream store. The beach is down the road, its only a three minute walk. The bathroom ist a little small. The mattress should be changed because you can already feel the hard structure.

• Claudia (5/5): Great place - rude host - I traveled with my dad. This review reflects our personal experience with the host and the place. The Central Balcony ROOM itself is good but has NO sea view. It has a balcony overviewing the old town of Cefalu, it is decorated with style and it has comfort. It is ideal for a family of 3, you have almost all the amenities one would need. PLEASE PAY ATTENTION this place has 2 DIFFERENT APARTMENTS and only one has a sea view. We booked the "central balcony" one that has NO sea view. It was the only option Booking.com showed on the booking process (because the other one was taken). We were disappointed when we arrived because the place had NO sea view, and NO TV. and contacted the host who fairly offered us to move into the sea view room on our last night or she can adjust the cancellation fee. As a customer, I feel that the host was rude during our messaging on Whatsapp (see attached picture) so I decided to contact the website. In the end, we resolved the issue with the help of Booking.com. The bed I slept in (the separate one on the upper floor) was NOT made (the sheet was not lined on the mattress). In the evening we noticed the trash in the bathroom was NOT emptied either (personal feminine products). I have asked for the cleaning fee to be paid back. My dad said his bed (the big one) was comfortable but the single bed upstairs where I slept, it was not (the mattress was very wobbly).
• Filip (8/5): Very good - The property is perfectly located with the beach, shops and restaurants as soon as you step out of the apartment. Even so, the noise wasn't too bad at all. The room was big, clean and overall very pleasant. Everything we needed was included in the room. The shower was really small and it would be a problem for even slightly larger than average individuals. The stairway into the apartment was quite small with tall steps which would be a problem for people with disabilities or maybe even elderly folks. Biggest letdown was the fact that the photos provided in the listing is actually photos of two different apartments combined. The one we got did not have a balcony over seeing the water but rather the streets.
