• JOHN (10/5): Will stay here again 100%! - The entire experience with Monte and his wife was exceptional. “Mrs. Monte” (never learned her name) loaned us power cords and transportation cards. She drove us to the mall to purchase shoes as my wife forgot her walking shoes. Amazingly kind and generous people! Hot water took a while to arrive.

Monte ist ein guter Gastgeber und die Privatsphäre seiner Gäste ist im wichtig, was wohl auch auf seine chinesischen Wurzeln zurück zu führen ist. Neue Waschmaschinen und Trockner konnten mitgenutzt werden. Tolle Häuser in der Nachbarschaft Küche und Bad in die Jahre gekommen und könnten eine grundreinigung gebrauchen
• Ana Perić (7/5): Spacious apartment - The apartment is spacious and has many amenities. The host was kind and helpful. There is a washing machine, a dishwasher, fully equipped kitchen. The location is good, well connected. Good value for money. It is possible to do self check in. The apartment was not very clean. There were some surfaces that were dusty and the kitchen seemed all greasy. It really needed a good scrub, and that was disappointing. Also, there are no curtains so in the morning the sun shines through very early.

• Edward (10/5): Exceptional - Monte was/is a great host. He was there if we needed and not in there when not needed. That is a definite plus for a host. Thank you Monte. The location was ideal. Right across the street from where we needed to be.

• Max (8/5): Very good - Convenient location near a bus stop with private parking. Spacious room and dining area. Welcoming, friendly and responsive owner. The kitchen could use a bit more thorough cleaning from the previous guests. The ceiling isn’t very thick, so you might hear footsteps from the second floor. It wasn’t a big deal for me as I was out in town most of the time.
• Robert (10/5): good place to stay if not concernded about being in the city center. - very clean and comfortable. Kitchen had everything that we needed. Bathroom and shower were very good. Owner is very accomodating and helpful. Location is a way from the city center. Bus on Bathhurst to city center is outside the door. Subway is a 20 minute walk.

The unit is very spacious and comfortable with everything we needed. And the bed’s mattress was amazing!

I wasn't overly comfortable with how the door to my space was not very secure. The door had a lock on it, however, it felt like if you pushed hard enough on it, the lock wouldn't make a difference.

• T (8/5): Great location, clean, parking. I'd rent this place again - Lots of extra blankets and pillows, place was very clean and organized, parking spot is good for a car. AC in bedroom was great, neighbours were quiet for the most part. Great space to stay, lots of room. Windows were open when we got to the place, it had rained that day so there was water on the floor by the open windows and on the window sil. This made the place incredibly humid by the time I got there. Initially we had to sit in the bed room where the AC was and close the door to cool down. The window in the kitchen didn't close which was also terrible for the humidity in the house.

• Peter (1/5): The only good thing was that there was an abundance of clean towels in the cupboard and the location - Breakfast not applicable self catering Location good and convenient for our stay The place was shabby and filthy dirty , the living room still had the decorated dusty Christmas tree at the end June in the cluttered living room ! there were boxes stacked up in the living room and dust and dirt through the apartment. Had to go the local supermarket late evening after arrival from UK to purchase loads of cleaning materials and scouring pads to make the kitchen sink clean and the shower room habitable. Dropped a belt by the bed the dust under the bed the dust under the bed was unbelievable. The shower room was indescribable dirty , mould around the grouting . There was constant noise from the owner who lived in the apartment above , people running up and down stairs at all hours with a child constantly dropping things on the floor the owner was abrasive and abrupt . An awful experience we would have moved however we could not find anywhere in the vicinity at such short notice, we needed to be in that area for an event.

• Sarah (10/5): Exceptional - This was a beautiful place to stay. Very comfortable and clean. Everything in the unit was high quality. Small touches like coffee pods and toiletries were much appreciated. With the fully equipped kitchen, this is an amazing place to stay short or long trips... and the price was so reasonable. Truly felt pampered. The host was helpful and responsive. I will definitely hope to return in the future on adventures in Toronto. Great location, safe neighborhood and parking! We wanted for nothing.

• Semion (10/5): Exceptional - We, myself and my wife, spent three nights in a very silent suites. The suites have a good equipped kitchen and dining room, big badroom and huge privet bathroom. It is located next to station of buss #7. The suites owner is a very freindly, always ready for a help. Thank you, Monte, for a warm hospitality. Hopefully see you again. Semion and Julia

• Andreas (9/5): Toronto home from home in smart area with easy city centre access - Large apartment in very upmarket area with easy public transport access to city centre (bus stop almost outside and 5 mins ride to nearest subway station). Very well equipped including all you need in a kitchen (also nespresso style coffee machine with pods provided!), TV with Netflix and Paramount+. Host with great communication and very helpful. We had initially booked here as we could not find anything centrally located at a reasonable price but in the end preferred to stay in this neighbourhood and living a real Toronto residential experience for a few days. Nothing really but if I had to be picky, there is no sizeable lounge area and instead a large kitchen, dining room and bedroom with the TV by the (very large and comfy) double bed.
• Jayme (10/5): All the Comforts of Home! - Spacious, comfortable, ideally located, private, well-equipped apartment with free parking and free passes to local attractions! Free water bottles and Keurig coffee. Comfortable, clean bedding and towels. Great communication with the host. Excellent value compared to the surrounding area. Highly recommended.
• Cheryl (9/5): this was a clean, comfortable and convenient place to stay in the city. - There was noise from the street but we were able to alleviate that by securely closing the window closest to the bed as our host indicated. The suite is very spacious and comfortable.
• Daniela (5/5): Passable - Spacious rooms. Bathroom, toilet, bathroom garbage were not clean. Kitchen appliance's were not clean. Near busy road (no double glass windows) so traffic noise all night.
• Susan (6/5): Pleasant - Large roomy suite Parking on site VERY loud bangs and footsteps above us around 10pm for 1/2 hour. Traffic is pretty loud sounding even with closed windows.
• Boudreau (8/5): Very good - Full kitchen facilities if we chose to use them and host was very helpful with instructions to navigate for our outing. No air conditioning and tv was in bedroom so had to lie on bed to watch. Also bathroom had clear window so it wasnt very private if anyone was moving around in the bedroom or sitting on couch.
• Li (8/5): A nice house setting near an expensive area of Toronto - It is the first floor of a house with kitchen and 1 bedroom and a dining room. It is spacious and nicely equipped with kitchen supplies. One bed and one sofa bed, can accommodate a family of 4 people.

• Susan (3/5): Was noisy and run down looking-disappointed. - Spacious area Very noisy location-right beside Bathurst street and since no a/c windows needed to be open (summer), couldn’t sleep because of traffic noise all thru night. House looks run down, garden neglected, the pull out couch was so shabby that you could feel every coil.

• Marijke (7/5): Private but not a mansion suite. - Spacious unit with free parking in driveway. King bed comfortable. Lots of duvets and towels. Large dining table. Good access to downtown Toronto. Pull out sofa bed very uncomfortable with thin mattress, feel springs and coils. No separate air conditioning. Is controlled by owner above but was not on when very hot and humid. Fridge had bad smell that permeated food. Folger pod coffee maker only. Need coffee maker for own ground coffee or pods. Not soundproof. Can hear footsteps above bedroom and music playing. Not ground level. Uneven stepping stones outside and steps to first level.

The owner lives at the same house so easy to reach out to him and get everything sorted out. Owner is vety generious and already offers coffee and chocolate, maybe some teabags will make the stay more perfect.

• Dennis (9/5): As advertised with good support from host. - Monte was extremely helpful with good advice on transit and shopping. Parking onsite was very important for us. Very spacious and well stocked kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. That we could only stay one night.

• Billmann (8/5): Very good - Location was good, close to restaurants and public transportation. Owner and family were very nice and friendly. Neighborhood was safe, located in a affluent neighborhood. Property needs a little TLC especially outside curb appeal. High end Mansion is a bit of a stretch for a title. The amenities inside are lacking and the room lacks the proper prep for next customers. All in all not a terrible stay.

• Vimal (9/5): The stay was excellent. The accommodation was really spacious - The location was really close to most of the major city attractions. I didn't find any provision for air conditioner or fan. It could be difficult to stay in summer time without a fan or air conditioner.

• Rob (9/5): Pleasantly surprised by quality and hospitality. - Spacious, comfortable, well located. Pictures on listing do not do it justice. There is a full kitchen and large dining/sitting area in addition to spacious bedroom and bathroom. Host was friendly, hospitable, and very helpful (but not intrusive). He provided free tickets to both the Royal Ontario Museum and the Art Gallery of Ontario - very generous, very unexpected, very much appreciated. Definitely recommend this place. No problems. Told host about a few minor issues/suggestions and he began to take care of them right away.
• Semion (8/5): Mainly, it was great stay. Generally, the apartment is very comfortable for a long stay even. - The mansion suite location was suitable for our purpose. Its owner is very friendly. The apartment consists of two large rooms and big bathroom. Kitchen is well equipped. Some kitchen equipment should be maintained better, e.g., sometimes gas stove is very difficult to start. The apartment is not being locked well.

Pictures shown matched exactly.The bed was big and very firm. Also no TV but was not needed just a heads up if you plan on just staying in. The host was very friendly and attentive. N/A
