• Shannon (4/5): God bless the hostess, but I would not stay here again. - The neighborhood was pleasant, public transportation was very convenient, and there were plenty of shops and restaurants a short walk away. I didn't like finding out the day before my arrival that the location changed (not updated on Booking.com), I didn't appreciate being asked for identification the day I arrived as I was on my way there. That seems like something that should have been sorted out at least a week before I showed up. I especially didn't like finding out I would not have a private bathroom, which made it necessary to shower in a downstairs bathroom. There were other guests there due to overbooking, and it seemed that people were constantly in and out. I didn't enjoy waking up to the sound of screaming children running around one adjoining room, and my room was small and stuffy; just big enough for a bed and desk. There was no air, nor could I open the window to let any in. Overall, I can only say I'm glad I had a place to sleep for the weekend.
• Joannebmr (5/5): Passable - The hostess was super nice and helpful. Place was relatively clean and in a very nice and safe neighbourhood. The rooms are kind of exposed to each other and although there wasnt anyone in the room next to us we were still in an open space next to the front door separated by a divider and we couldnt lock the bedroom door. Put up a few walls between the rooms and locks on the doors and it would be good. The breakfast was just instant oatmeal and a choice between tea and coffee which was a little disapointing.

• Elaine (6/5): very clean space, no bugs, not as expected of an actual home - too many things to fix! - At least they had a packet of oatmeal as something. they did not have “paper towels” in all the bathrooms. When I mentioned it that I had to use my clothing instead oh, we’ll put some up there, but they did not include the 2nd washroom on the main floor. So then you have to open the door with dirty hands and run to the kitchen for a paper towel and wipe off the door handle. Should be supplied regardless. I had no idea there were so many text message instructions to read prior to opening the door as I’m not familiar with that so that was annoying as I stood there for 5 mins reading them all!
• Rosalind (8/5): This was a nice spot to stay and get work done for a couple of days, and I’d gladly come back in the future! - Great location, and excellent hosts! The sound-proofing isn’t the greatest, for general-level noise. It just carries really well, for some reason.

• Nakamura (2/5): Very poor - When into the house, the entrance and slippers were scattered,messy. I don't know which ones I can use. The bathroom was dirty and the floor was wet. The atmosphere inside was dark and the garden was not well maintained. There were only amenities for one person even though we were planning to stay with two people.

• Yoseph (9/5): It wasn't too bad, and I would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area. - I loved the open layout, the modern kitchen really stood out, and the location was quiet yet convenient. We also appreciated the landlord's hospitality. The bathtub wasn’t as clean as expected, the included breakfast was self-serve with only oatmeal, which we didn’t anticipate, and the basement was extremely cold.

The accommodation was fully furnished and equipped with kitchen facility for cooking, washing machine for laundry etc. The deluxe room size is reasonably big. Only nonvegetarian items kept in the kitchen. For vegetarian people, provide veg items for breakfast.
• Prem (8/5): Very good - A lovely house located in a convenient location for accessing the train station to get into the city centre for sightseeing. The "self-serve" breakfast was a bit limited in choice. More choice of cereals & provision of milk for the cereal would have made our stay more enjoyable. Also, some eggs 🥚 to boil or poach + cheese 🧀 would have been more nutritious & provided the required protein to sustain our energy for the long day of sightseeing travels.

• Jimmytay (5/5): Beautiful room as advertised? No. - The location is good. It is near to 2 transit stations, supermarkets, restaurants and cafes. Kitchen was adequately stocked and washing machine and dryer worked though old and noisy. The room is described as beautiful but it is not. It is plain with one table and one chair. It is next to the main road and it can be noisy. It is also quite dirty. The area around the bed is relatively clean but underneath the bed is a layer of dust. The guest next door to me also complained about how dirty her room was. After she and her husband left, the room was open and not attended to for 4 days. My room has no fan and it can be hot. My room was listed as 25 sq m. I measured and it was roughly 16 sq m. When I booked it, breakfast was included. However breakfast is instant noodle and packet soup. It was disappointing. The whole place needs upgrading and refurbishment!
• Samuel (6/5): Great location and value but a bit lacking in comfort and personality. - Location was excellent. Easy walk to get to the shopping center and the train to downtown. We stayed here prior to running the Toronto marathon and the house was located within 1km from the start. Parking was easy and communication with the host was fine. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. With the window closed, sound from the street was not an issue. The house lacked much personality and felt a bit bare bones - kind of like an undecorated dorm or something. The room was a bit small and the bedroom window was broken so it became quite hot and stuffy without being able to open the window. The shower leaked a bit onto the floor, which required cleanup and the fridge had some old, spoiled food in it. Kitchen was otherwise well-equipped. Sharing a single bathroom with many other guests was not ideal.
