• Ladera (10/5): - I had the opportunity to stay at Victor’s Madrid rooms last 14-16 September. The location was perfect, as it was situated in a quiet location about 10kms from the centre of Madrid. There is a Metro station nearby which is about 5 mins walk. What I love about the place is that it is very quiet and you can definitely rest up for the night. The place feels like your home, and the host Victor, is very accomodating and friendly. He even suggested an itinerary for my stay, which was indeed very helpful. There is a cute little cat in the house, and she is just lovely (she does not go inside the rooms though). Overall, if you are looking for peace and quiet and just want to relax for the night far from the hustle and bustle of city life, Victor’s Madrid rooms is definitely for you. 10/10 stars.

Victor, el anfitrión, fue excepcional: amable, atento y siempre dispuesto a ayudar. Su recomendación para desayunar fue todo un acierto, perfecta para empezar el día con buen sabor, de unos buenos churros. La ubicación es excelente, muy cerca del estadio, lo que resulta ideal si vas a algún evento y muy bien conectada por el metro. Además, el chalet cuenta con espacios comunes bien cuidados, como la cocina y el baño, con todo lo que necesitas. Un plus encantador: Clari, la gatita de la casa, es tranquila y adorable, y añade un toque especial a la experiencia. Sin duda, un lugar al que volvería. ¡Gracias por todo, Victor!

• Anonymous (10/5): Victor was very friendly, accommodating and informative. He made our stay in Madrid memorable. - Victor’s Homestay was easy to get to via Las Rosa subway. We were able to be checked in early and leave our luggage while waiting for a late flight on our check out day. The communal kitchen was very clean and well equipped, the lounge was modern and inviting and our room had ample storage, a comfortable queen size bed and a modern en suite bathroom. The room was quiet. He offered a full, delicious Spanish breakfast for 10 euros each, which we enjoyed. Nothing! It was all excellent!

There was nothing you couldn't like about Victors beautiful home and his hospitality, everything just top notch brilliant!
• Spineynorman (10/5): A superb 3 night stay. - Victor is a brilliant host, he's friendly and helpful with infinitely better English than my Spanish! Our room "the suite" was very comfortable, with it's own excellent bathroom. The optional breakfast (10 euro pp) is great value with plenty of variety and amazing coffee! The location was great for our needs, 15 minute walk to Riyadh Metropolitano and 10 mins to the (red) metroline station. The area is very quiet and safe, with shops, local bars and restaurants nearby. Nothing to report here!

This is a great place for the ones like calmness, has a great location ( not close to the center, but has a perfect location for the metro) the owner, Victor simply is outstding host, the was perfecty clean. The check in was easy and Victor was really helpful and friendly. He prepared really good breakfasts and was very helpful and gave great advice to our questions. The facilities in the familyroom, with jacuzzi and a billiard table was perfect for the children. Also in the kitchen we found all the utensils we needed. The location is not in the city centre, but in walking distance to the metro and to Estadio Metropolitano.

It's clean, everything is equipped, the bathroom is cleaned to a tip-top standard. The host himself is very cordial and helpful. The location is excellent, close to the metro and airport. Delicious churros nearby:) and a small park overlooking the Atlético Madrid stadium. We haven't had such a positive feeling after a stay for a long time. Thank you Victor for such great conditions. • Natalia (9/5): Will come back here again when in Madrid! - The location is super, - 2 stations of metro (different lines) in just 5-10 min away by foot; the district is safe and quiet, with enough places around to eat or have a drink. The host Victor is super nice! He is always available to guide you with the needed information around the city! If you request, he can offer a nice breakfast in his cozy kitchen for 10 euro. The shared space (living room, kitchen, bathroom) are cleaned every morning and have everything you need during your stay (short or long). The shower is superb! You are never immune to outside noise or noisy neighbours, especially if the walls are thin, but you can use the birouches the hotel offers))

Also, there is a supermarket and gas station nearby to stock up on food and to fill up the rental car before returning it. Had to wait a little bit for the host, but it was fine

Great walkable neighborhood and lots of restaurants and bars on Calle Suecia. (Piazza Italia was fabulous). Excellent coffee and breakfast provided by Victor, the host. At first it appears out of the way, but it is very accessible by Metro.

Room was spacious enough for a couple and the bed was super comfy, just what was needed after a 30 hour journey. 10-15 minutes in an Uber from the airport, next time we will stay longer to explore a bit more.

So if you don't like noise and loudness and would prefer a slow tempo and heady aroma of jasmine all over the place in June - this can be a good choice :) And the welcome message! This is just amazing and you will eagerly wait for your trip to Madrid.

• Hans (9/5): Very good, Like my own home - I stayed for 8 nights. It felt if I was in my own home, so it was very good. I had a sleeping room and there's a kitchen in the house. And yes, a shared bathroom, but if you've quests at your own home you have to share your bathroom too... The metro is convenient and the station is very near. And finally the owner will make the best of your stay. Yes, you will hear the noise of the highway. But... the windows are good. So, if you close them at night you can sleep almost without noise.

He make us feeling like we we're visiting an old friend! We really felt here comfortable. We had spacious room on the last floor with huge bathroom with wihrlpool, great place to sit and bilard. There was close to the Highway with some noise, but it was not really annoying.

• Nigel (9/5): It was pleasant, convenient and comfortable - clean and inviting. - Breakfast was good, homely Continental-style. Meats, cheese, breads, fruits, cereals and really good filter coffee. The place is well maintained and decorated, Victor - the owner & host - is great, congenial company. I may be biased, but anyone who likes Monty Python humour is great in my 'book! The room and shared bathroom were great, I'm sorry I couldn't use the BBQ but I was only there for a couple of nights for an exhibition. There's a very well-stocked, pleasant supermarket just 5 minutes up the road to get the usual essentials. Mindful of "what you pay for is what you get", I wasn't expecting 4-5 star hotel or airBnB. The freeway nearby was the only real negative, ventilation-wise, as one needs to keep the bedroom window almost shut to cut out the traffic sound..
• Stefanos (10/5): Exceptional - We really enjoyed our stay, the room in a house within 5 m walk from the metro station that takes you to Madrid centre, the breakfast was good to start your day, and we had the chance to play some billard and exersice at the gym in the basement. Communication with the host was great and he gave us some local tips. Everything was clean and good organised. We highly recommend booking there and we would be glad to come again when we are in Madrid. -
