There are 3 steps between the lounge into the kitchen, and from the kitchen into the sunroom and from the sunroom into the utility room. (We do not provide stairgates and/ or it could be difficult if you have lower mobility.)This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties.

- Jacqueline (9/5): Lovely house… great location. - The property was ideal for visiting the area. Beds were very comfy. The kitchen facilities are excellent and the welcome pack was a nice touch. Access to the property was easy and hosts were excellent at keeping in touch. Location was excellent with local shops and restaurant within walking distance. Back garden would be lovely in the summer to relax. Tv wasn’t great we couldn't get it to work, however we were not there to watch Tv. The shower upstairs was difficult to regulate temperature, however shower down stairs was good.

- frances (7/5): Dec 2025 girls weekend - We love the location and this was our second stay in the house. We have provisionally booked it again for 2026. It's so handy for cafe, pub and restaurant and the use of the spa is a bonus. The house was really cosy during our first stay in 2024 but it was a lot cooler at times during our recent stay.
I did mention the next point in our review last year but it hasn't been addressed. A few hooks on the bathroom upstairs would be very handy and practical. A new comment is a mirror near a power socket is needed in the twin room.

- Frank (8/5): Nur einen Steinwurf vom ältesten Pub entfernt. - 100m bis zum ältesten (lizensierten) Pub Schottlands, Supermarkt nebenan, Pipingband am Donnerstagabend Für die Heizung waren wir zu doof, aber das war nicht ganz so schlimm.

Además el health club es toda una ventaja si vas con niños.

- Rose (8/5): Enjoyed our stay, it was quite central and within easy commute to all our targeted places to visit. Very thoughtful Host - Beautiful big house, loads of space for a big family…well stocked, enough cookware and kitchen ware if you enjoy cooking…even had toiletries and bathroom necessities. Internet and Wifi available….games available to play as a family/group very well thought out . Cleaners could do with vaccuming the carpets regularly, had a good go at it as I suffer from terrible allergies and dusty environments unfortunately are a trigger…each room
Filled the dust container of vaccum cleaner so yessss please this can be improved on.

Brilliant location in Drymen.
Car parking space is a bonus.
Clachan pub, Drymen Inn and Winnock hotel are all great for food and drinks and almost on the doorstep. There was plenty of storage. However one minor thing which could make a big difference is having a couple of hooks in the bathroom upstairs.

- Esmeralda (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely proper house with original features and lots of charm. All rooms well proportioned and some very large. All beds comfortable and good quality fittings throughout. Great sunroom and amazing to have a private garden. All very well equipped. We will come back in future We are a bit unused to leaving outer door (storm door) unlocked but its obviously a safe area and you are still secure having locked the inner one.
