Guest Reviews
- Kimberly (10/5): Beautiful whimsical stay - We had a very comfortable and whimsical stay in this cottage. Never had one like this before. Lovely hosts and very thoughtful. x thanks for the little bits and bobs we enjoyed them xx magical location as well right in the center of Haworth Main Street. The home really took us back in time. It was unique experience. Other than the poor signal and no wifi as described, it didnt really bother us as you can get data at the balcony. x but just to keep that in mind when booking xx no other issues at all
- Eric (10/5): Excellent cottage in which to detox from modern life; perfect location in the centre of Haworth. - The cottage is themed and hits the brief very well. With no wifi and no TV, the cottage provided a fantastic space in which to detox from everyday life and is perfectly located on the main street. The cottage also includes a really useful balcony at the rear of the property, which was a perfect space to take breakfast or relax in the late evening. We were lucky with the weather! Communication with the hosts was also exceptional. Nothing to report.
- Catherine (6/5): Haworth is lovely ‘Fairy Cottage’ is not. - Location So stuffed with ephemera there was nowhere to place belongings. Dead plants everywhere. Nowhere comfortable to sit.
- Victoria (10/5): The experience of staying in this wonderful cottage. - The setting of how life was in the 1800.Emma and Reese was very helpful from start to finish. What a credit to you both designing a home like this.
- Meggan (10/5): We have loved every second of the cottage! - The cottage is super cosy. It’s like stepping back in time to a much more relaxed way of living. We have had the best nights sleep in one of our favourite places. We enjoyed a complimentary hot chocolate out on the decking in the sunshine in the morning. We can’t wait to visit again. Absolutely nothing!!
- Joanna (9/5): A very intriguing, unique property. Very well located in the centre of Haworth. - Location and welcome packs were excellent. Priority had been given to the theming of the property. However a few more details were needed to the practicalities in the kitchen e.g. baking trays/bakeware for the oven. Cooking utensils were limited. There was no microwave.
- Kit (9/5): -
- Billy (10/5): - Very quirky little place not stayed anywhere like this before Nothing not to like really
- Andrew (10/5): - Beautiful little cottage. Nothing
- Ethan (10/5): our stay was cute, funky and in a prime location. Fantastic hosts! -
- Neil (10/5): - The exceptional presentation, and the thoughtful goodie bag There was nothing not to like, the accommodation is unique and like no other
- Jyothi (10/5): A unique and quirky experience stay in the middle of Haworth village- Bronte country . The Bronte parsonage is literally - You have to see this place ! The house is absolutely gorgeous. It’s like a mini museum and exceptionally cosy !As soon as you walk in you are transported back in time. So quirky with beautiful character and little antiques everywhere. The owners have really created a unique experience that we really enjoyed and certainly will not forget. It is so peaceful and central to the village. Haworth is a special little village. My son and I had a beautiful few days. I have travelled the world but have never stayed somewhere quite like this . We will be back !
Don’t hesitate to book this place ! You won’t regret it . Nothing ! It’s a brilliant, thoughtful ‘experience stay‘ .
- Clare (10/5): Quirky and fascinating - Location was spot on
- Glenda (10/5): We had a lovely time at this gorgeous little experience cottage - Fabulous Quaint little cottage. Everything you need provided by Emma the host. She went out of her way to help us and responded quickly to our queeries. There was nothing we didn't like about the property. The location was amazing and the views were beautiful.
- john (10/5): Absolutely loved it, very quirky & fun, an unbelievable experience. We will definitely be back - Perfectly located & the attention to detail inside was absolutely breathtaking
- Jane (10/5): Fun and memorable with excellent customer service from the owners throughout - This is exactly what it says on the tin. A quirky, one of a kind experience which someone has clearly put their heart and soul into. The attention to detail is second to none and the cute little cottage provides any couple with a fun and memorable experience. The location couldn’t be better and views from the balcony are breathtaking. The owners were helpful and attentive throughout and leave the most thoughtful little welcome gifts in the kitchen and bedroom on arrival. I don’t think it’s really fair to say “what I didn’t like about the property” but it is important to remember that as is clearly laid out by the owner, due to the nature of the accommodation it’s not going to be spic and span! So don’t expect that. You’re paying for an experience that isn’t bleach and shine!
- Agustina (10/5): Magical stag - Very beautiful decor, very cozy, superb location. All the small amenities really made my day, just felt like they went the extra mile to make it feel cozy. N/a
- Omkar Nevagi (10/5): Wonderful - The cottage is really beautiful. Emma and Reese had made sure it was perfect. The efforts they have put to set up this place is really appreciated. It’s completely different from normal Air BNB or cottage which makes it magical and wonderful.
- Kevin (10/5): - Everything Nothing
- Kellie (10/5): Absolutely beautiful little hideaway. - Everything!
- Shaun (10/5): Enchanting, whimsical, otherworldly, magical. - The most beautiful place we’ve ever stayed—and one we’ll be thinking about for a long time.
From the moment we stepped inside, it felt like walking into another world. The cottage is full of character in a way that doesn’t feel staged or artificial—it feels lived in, loved, and quietly magical.
Every corner has something to notice. From the old typewriter and vintage details to the cosy fireplace and soft lighting, it feels like a space made for slowing down. We found ourselves lingering, taking it all in, and not wanting to rush anything.
It’s incredibly cosy without feeling small, and everything has been thought about so carefully. The mix of textures, colours, and little details gives it such a warm, comforting atmosphere—it genuinely feels like a place you can sink into.
The location is perfect for exploring Haworth, but the cottage itself feels like its own little escape. It’s the kind of place you look forward to coming back to after a day out… and then don’t want to leave at the end.
We’ve stayed in a lot of places, but this one felt different.
More personal. More special.
We’ll absolutely be back. We didn’t book for long enough! 😂

- Liane (9/5): Lovely stay in a great location on the Main Street of Haworth. Loved looking around at the different themes and objects - Location and all the little details and various themes in each room, especially the 1940’s bedroom
- Zoe (10/5): - The theme and layout were fantastic! Loved the welcome pack and snacks. Plenty of toiletries. Great communication and location!
- EMMA (10/5): - The cottage was beautifully set out !and couldn't be in a more perfect location....WOW !!!!!! The cottage was also cosy and warm on entering....
- Tracey (10/5): A truly magical experience, like stepping back in time. - What can I say about this amazing place! It’s a truly magical experience to stay here! We absolutely loved it! Nothing!
- Michael (10/5): The property is excellently decorated, with items from many years gone by placed around the cottage. The beds were comfy - The period decor was outstanding, made all the more special as it was decorated for Christmas. It was easy to find and the facilities within were fantastic. There was nothing to dislike. It was fantastic
- Jenna (10/5): Great nights stay at the cottage - Great stay in the experience cottage!
Such a unique property - we loved it! And thank you to our hosts for ensuring we had everything we need. Great location and easy to find.
Reading some reviews I was assuming the living room would be uncomfortable - but I think quite the opposite! The sofa was extremely comfortable to curl up on & so was the bed. Would recommend 🙂 Nothing - we expected an experience and it delivered in abundance!
- Paul (10/5): Christmas magic back to basics. - Amazing cottage in a fantastic Christmas location. No tv or Wi fi but getting off the grid for a few nights is worth its weight in gold an amazing experience and the hosts are brilliant. 100% highly recommended Nothing the place is awesome.
- Shaun (10/5): Lovely homely stay for me and my wife, absolutely loved the cottage feel and a great place to unwind away from the hustl -

- Elliot (10/5): Step back in time for the perfect switch off and unwind. - The quirky nature of the property was great, the comfortable bed was a highlight and the location superb, Emma and Reece were awesome. Nothing really.
- Amanda (10/5): -
- Lorraine (10/5): Felt a part of history in this unique village. - Warm and cozy. Location amazing. I loved the balcony such a bonus for just sitting and watching the weather and the wildlife. Listening to the steam train from the Worth Valley line was very nostalgic. Also really enjoyed the bath. Very special. Just being able to touch history in that special part of the world and feel a part of it was incredible. Such a unique opportunity. Our hosts were very responsive and came out of their way wn we couldn't work out the thermostat 😊 We appreciated the cottage was advertised as an experience so were very happy to take it as that, and during the times we were 'home' to immerse ourselves into that.
- Debra (5/5): Nice concept, but too cluttered and lacking basic functionality for guests - My daughter loved this place! The location is perfect, the outdoor deck was great for relaxing and taking in the view. The overall house was short on usable space — there just weren’t enough clear surfaces to sit, unpack, or do anything comfortably. Every surface had something on it that needed to be moved or adjusted because the place was so full of stuff. I understand it’s meant to be a themed property, and that’s part of its charm, but it would really help if a bit more space was left clear for guests to actually live in and use during their stay — without losing the authenticity of what you’re trying to create. The lack of showering also made me appreciate ho
- Sunspots (8/5): Great place - Excellent location and just a fabulous experience No shower attachment for the bath to wash your hair. Had to use a saucepan!
- Kerry (10/5): Wonder experience in this quirky quaint cottage on the cobbles of Howarth, especially @ Halloween 🎃 - Myself & my granddaughter felt like fairy’s from start to finish in this property. An experience we will never forget & we got to share this true Fairy vibe together! A lot of thought & work has gone in to this experience. Really comfy bed & fab bath. NA
- Carla (10/5): Whimsical and so peaceful! - The property is in the perfect location and so much love and care has obviously gone into creating a magical space. Truly relaxing stay with my daughter. The added touches with the toiletries and treat baskets really made us feel welcome. Leaving!
- Lisa (8/5): - The location was excellent right in the centre. We loved the quirkiness of the place abd loads of interesting things to look at. Generally the house was as clean as it could be but our bedding had not been changed. There were hairs on the sheets belonging to someone else.
- Rob (10/5): Amazing gem in a beautiful little village - The property is very quirky and has some amazing artefacts on show it has been very well thought out Nothing
- Emma (10/5): Whimsical Stay in Haworth - The decor was beautiful and it was clear that alot of care and attention has been given.
The property is right on the main village street,, giving easy access to shops and pubs.
Such great value for money and I'd love to return to this cottage next year! Overall was great, but we did find it difficult to figure out how to turn the heating on (though in fairness, we also didn't message the host about this, so our own fault that we didn't figure it out, fortunately we were never too cold though) x
- Garry (9/5): Memorable themed experience, delightfully located. - Unique ‘theme’, lots of extras thrown in, very helpful to queries. No problems with the property at all.
- Elaine (8/5): Great stay, lovely experience, just a few tweaks and would be perfect, would stay again though! - Loved the experience of the Fairy Cottage, it is an experience stay!
Amazing themed fun, great location, so much to look at inside, great attention to detail.
Super comfy bed, the bedding was so soft literally enveloped you in softness, great nights sleep.
Lovely toiletries basket to greet you Unfortunately no comfortable seating in the cottage, wanted to enjoy the ambience of the cottage in the evening but chairs all hard DND uncomfortable, could just do with 2 comfy chairs to really make such a huge difference
No coffee, had hot chocolate, tea, but only coffee I could find was a jar that fitted with the age of the experience of the house and could not be used which was really disappointing
- Sophie (10/5): - Really close to the pubs
- Nicola (9/5): -
- Dave (10/5): Quaint and comfortable right in the heart of Haworth, - Lovely location on Main Street Nothing
- Matthew (10/5): A perfect night away. - It was in a perfect location, right in the heart of Haworth. The entire property was clean and cosy. We both slept really well in the bed and agreed we will definitely be coming back to stay again.
- Caroline (10/5): Best nights sleep and perfect location - Perfect location. Lovely outside space and the most comfiest bed. Best nights sleep I’ve had for long time.
- Denise (10/5): Has a lovely one night stay at this unique property - Unique and lots to look at
- louisa (9/5): - What an amazing experience staying here. So quirky and interesting. It's definitely worth staying a night or two!
- claire (10/5): Great night away - Location right on the main tourist st , the uniqueness and best but was the terrace with amazing views Nothing really
- Karen (10/5): Amazing experience must go again. - Great location amazing cottage so many loverly decorations and vintage items. Lovely toiletries basket and hot chocolate and biscuits too. Tried the local pubs they was loverly too. Nothing
- Leanora (10/5): Lovely short stay in Haworth - Lovely unique property full of character and charm. Makes a change to a modern hotel/B&B. Added little extras made us feel special Can’t fault it!
- Colin (9/5): Very characterful ,charming old building - The cottage is in a superb location in the heart of Howarth, lovely old building, the decking outside was an added bonus, which we were lucky to use as the weather was good. Just not very comfortable downstairs ,the sofa bed not very comfortable place to sit as it’s all antique furniture and wouldn’t want to break anything with it being old.
- Hannah (10/5): - The location is amazing right on the main street. The house is beautiful, you could look for hours and still spot something new.
It's clean and the owners are so friendly.
Thank you for letting us stay in your house.
- SUSAN (10/5): Unique - What a delightful cottage. It’s obvious a lot of time and live has gone into creating something unique. So many treasures inside. It brought back a lot of memories from my youth. Every room contained more delights to look at. Despite being 1800’s it still had all the facilities needed for our stay and the place was spotless.
Cottage is on the middle of the Main Street so convenient for all the sights , restaurants etc. Very enjoyable stay.
No parking outside but we parked on the museum car park at the top of the hill and walked down, it wasn’t a problem at all.
- Anne-Marie (10/5): Fantastic Stay
I'm - The location of the cottage was absolutely perfect. Roughly in the middle of the high street. We accessed all the beautiful visitor locations meeting people from all over the world 🌍 e.g. Gibraltar/Australia/California!
The cottage is also ideal for the array of bars & cafes, all reasonably priced.
We accidentally entered the Lion Heart pub at the top of the hill, Sunday night, to a live music independent music enthusiastic artists from the surrounding area. My sister & I had a blast! All the locals are so friendly. I even had a dance!!! I liked everything about the Fairytale Cottage + to the Brontë stomping ground. It was just an absolute pleasure to visit. Memories to stay with me Forever!
Thank you Haworth!!
- Sarah (10/5): Relaxing and fun. - Brilliant quirky little house with a super comfy bed. A helpful host and lots of thoughtful touches. Happy with everything.
- Samantha (10/5): Had a very relaxing peaceful time her, loved the whole experience. The bath was amazing the balcony was fantastic the be - It’s in a prime location with a fantastic balcony on the back of the property from the kitchen & it has fabulous views . There’s nothing to dislike
- Tracey (9/5): Absolutely delightful period property - The location was perfect- on the Main Street in Haworth ; we were able to walk to most of the attractions easily. The cottage is quaint and quirky - I spent ages looking at all of the ornaments and period items. The cottage is exactly as described- an almost perfect 1800’s downstairs and a 1940’s upstairs. The hosts were extremely helpful with any questions. We also loved the outside terrace and spent the evenings watching the birds and bats!
- Mary (10/5): Fairy stay - Unique experience and a beautiful terrace to enjoy the views.
- Amy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alison (10/5): A magical stay - we will definitely be back! - This place is magical! My 16 year old daughter loved it - it was better than we expected - like staying in a museum! So special and unique. The location is literally amazing - right on main street. We had an incredible time and will definitely be back. I cooked meals and we ate them out on the terrace with the gorgeous view. Nothing - everything was great.
- Deborah (10/5): Three lovely nights here - Highly recommended - What a stunning cottage, brimming with interesting artefacts and features! Fabulous bath and outdoor decking/balcony with a gorgeous view. We should've taken a radio! Minor detail though...
- Deborah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anke (9/5): Superb - We stayed 2 nights. We really enjoyed it, loved it, actually. There is so much to look at. Every time we entered, we found more to look at what we missed. We are easy to please and well travelled within very quirky, unusual places. Everything that we needed was there. We spent a lot out as the weather was amazing and the cottage is the best location for everything. If we decided to come back to Haworth, we definitely would book again. It was very clean and very tidy for what the ambience is. ⭐️🌟🌟🎖🏆🏅 The seating area in the house is not the most comfortable. Very small chairs. It's not great for big or tall people.
The dead flowers and bushes on the terrace, horrible to look at and far to many. They take most of the room.
- Aschofield (9/5): Great experience! - Great communication, an experience stay in a historic place. Really thoughtful touches.
- Sara (9/5): Superb - Very comfortable bed and bedding. Perfect location Animal hair all over the sofa bed downstairs. Needs a bit of tlc
- Sue (9/5): Superb -
- Ramona (9/5): My stay at Fairy Cottage on the Cobbles was a much-needed respite on my arrival in Bronte Country! - I liked that I could take a bath soaking in the epsom salts provided, and I used the complimentary face mask.
I appreciated the excuse to not be "plugged in" for a day since there was no internet nor TV, as advertised.
I loved the view from the balcony (it was dry so I had breakfast out there). The swag (slippers, snacks etc.) was all thoughtful and terrific. It was a little dusty, not too bad however the place needs a seasonal dusting (3 or 4 times per year) just because (a) there's so much [charming and on-point] stuff in there to attract dust, and (b) general "Spring" cleaning is needed periodically even in minimalist spaces ie. floors under tables/beds etc.
- Curtis (10/5): ‘Magical’ Stay - Very quirky! Fantastic location. Only thing it is lacking is a shower, we wasn’t keen on having a bath.
- Kennedy (8/5): Very good -
- Nina (8/5): Very good -
- James (8/5): Great location, cottage with character! - Great location in the heart of Haworth amongst the main restaurants, shops, etc. The cottage had everything we needed for our overnight stay, full of character, and having a bath was lovely! We didn't dislike anything!
- Elizabeth (10/5): Quirky experience cottage great fun - Quirky homely and perfect location Nothing it was exactas explained
- Sara (10/5): MUST VISIT!!! Amazing experience. - This house definitely has the WOW factor! Amazing stay. So much to look at just inside the property!
Beautiful, clean, well stocked and a delight to stay in.
Excellent hosts! Great communication, kind, friendly. Will definitely go back. Location was 10/10. Everything so close by and beautiful scenery. Going without tv was fantastic! Felt like a real experience. Didn't even have our phones on, it was bliss. There was absolutely nothing to dislike here.
- Wendy (10/5): One night stay away in Fairy Cottage - The location is perfect right on Main St Howarth, and the cottage is just so absolutely beautiful and the attention to detail in each room is just mesmerising. The balcony was such a relaxing place to take in the views of the moors beyond and forget about time. The wonderful personal touches like the beautiful toiletries and towels basket on the bed and sweets on the pillow aswell as a gift to bring home, a lovely book of Narnia, published by a local author. The twinkly lights at night and the plethora of amazing artifacts to look at . Just idyllic. Having to leave.
- Darrell (10/5): A hidden gem! - A great experience ! We liked everything !
- Lee (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing cottage, so much to see and alot of effort gone into making a great experience with little person touches
- Amanda (8/5): Leave the 21st Century behind. - Excellent location for the village, but beware it is at the bottom of a very steep hill. Parking nearby but you can drive and stop outside to unload luggage. Lots to explore in the cottage itself, the decor is quirky and well curated. Lots of facilities for cooking etc. Hosts have thought of pretty much everything. Loved just sitting in the rocking chair by the fire listening to a podcast. No wifi or TV but other home comforts are present, and a surprising suntrap on the deck. Although I preferred the quilt on the bed, blankets and an eiderdown would have gone one more step to authenticity.
- Michael (10/5): Really enjoyed our stay and the house was something different to the norm, in a great way! - Very unique property, comfortable and clean. Warm and everything we needed was available.
Perfectly located right on the Main Street of Howarth. Hosts were very friendly and responsive to messages leading up to the booking and checked in with us to confirm everything was good.
- Anne (10/5): Had a great time, very friendly on the budget. - It’s quirkiness. Very interesting and different. Lovely examining all the niknaks. Bathroom was gorgeous luxury for us to have a bath as we have a shower room at home.
Cottage was situated right in the middle of the tourist area. A few yards up the road was the Brontë house, museum and church. A few yards down was a lovely park ….and of course Oakworth station. Where they filmed The Railway Children. Great place to visit.
Cottage was spotless!!!
Very comfy bed also very cosy and warm.
Little treats were a nice surprise thank you.
Hosts were lovely. Gave us advice on where to park and best places to eat. Didn’t find the chairs very comfortable but this is in keeping with the time.
- Jane (10/5): Stunning house and location for the Bronte parsonage. - I loved the authentic 40s feel and it was in a great location. Whilst the brioche and accessories were a lovely touch, the brioche was stale and the toothbrush snapped.
- Melanie (8/5): Very good -
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional - The pictures don't do it justice, it was lovely. Great location right in the centre. Easy checkin and out with lockbox. Great communication from the host.
- Joanna (10/5): Exceptional - Charming - and lovely and warm. We really enjoyed our morning coffee on the little balcony.
- Christine (10/5): Exceptional - Walked in, and it was a wow. I loved everything about it. The place was very clean, there were bath salts, plenty of shower jel.
It was right outside the High street. The only problem we had to pay for parking and it was £14 a day it would be nice if you could get a permit.
- Justin (10/5): Beautiful period themed cottage. - Lovely period property, very cosy. Well presented little time capsule. Brilliant location close to all the sight seeing attractions. We loved it!
