• Anna (7/5): - It was fairly good. Can’t fault anything, the room was nice but not good value for the price. It’s a bit tired and need of a refresh. Service was very lovely and very nice touch with the light breakfast and snacks! Location was also 10/10! For the price, there could be elements that could be improved. Like not having to go up and down the lift to have access to the sparkling water tap, there was no hair straightener for those who struggle with the humidity like me haha, and very limited facilities.

• Moira (10/5): Very comfortable hotel in a great location - Great location right by Maxwell's and handy for Chinatown. Nice spacious rooms (we went for a corner room). Before we came we were a bit worried about the reports of noise but it was absolutely fine for us. We could feel the MRT going past pretty regularly but it doesn't run late at night or too early in the morning. We didn't hear any noise from Club Street or Ann Siang Road but we were only there Monday - Thursday and the bars were pretty dead during the week. Have to give a mention to the unlimited free wine from 5-6 each night! Very drinkable french wine and it was nice to meet some of the other visitors and hear about their travels. Lovely hotel in a great area - I'd recommend.

Thái độ nhân viên khôgn có điểm gì để chê. Mặc dù ban đầu gia đình tôi gặp một số vấn đề về các thiết bị trong phòng, nhưng nhân viên đã hỗ trợ rất nhiệt tình. • Devahuti (9/5): Very friendly staff and good facilities right in the middle of Chinatown. - Location is excellent and just steps away from Maxwell and rest of Chinatown. It is surrounded by shophouse style boutique shops and cafes and is ideal for anyone looking for a great location in Singapore Coffee machine was not working most of the time and housekeeping timings were a bit unpredictable. But overall the experience was good. Booking.com should also mention separately about hotels that do not have kitchens and are no frills. This is a disclosure issue that the platform should take care of.

• sally (9/5): Very comfortable small hotel in an excellent location - Ann Siang is an incredibly comfortable small hotel with excellent, friendly staff in a fantastic location. 5 min walk to the centre of Chinatown but tucked down a quiet side street. The metro station is also 5 minutes as is the fabulous Maxwell hawker market which has amazing food at extreme low prices. Perfect if you are looking for something different from the huge choice of modern large hotels. No onsite restaurant but complimentary coffee tea and snacks available all day and pastries in the morning. Nothing

Central location close to landmarks. Chinatown. Restaurants. Should have been an older building, found it to be completely new, clean, comfortable, great staff and care. Water, coffee, tea and munchies in the lobby. Would not think about staying any place different on my next trip!!!! Could not find a news channel to watch, stock and market news only. May not have looked hard enough.

Staff kindly accommodated our request for a late check out We chose this hotel because of its old style and big windows in a buzzy part of town. All the windows are now sealed shut so no fresh air and minimal view of the street, I realise this is to help with AC and noise but it's a shame to feel so cooped up

• Bizzybirdie (10/5): Elegant accommodation in quiet street - Ann Siang House is a hidden gem located in a quiet street yet only a short walk to the vibrant Chinatown and a pleasant stroll to Marina Bay. The Maxwell Hawer Market is close by and it is a short and easy walk to Lau Pa Sat Hawker Market. Both great options for authenic hawker cuisine. The staff are helpful and friendly. The rooms are spacious with a kitchette, comfortable bed and lovely renovated bathroom. The complimentary light breakfast, all day coffee and snacks and evening wine are an excellent touch. Some juice options at breafast would be nice.

• Bpetek (9/5): Nice stay - The location was excellent. It’s close to Chinatown, with many great restaurants and cafes nearby. Marina Bay Sands and other tourist attractions are also within a 25-minute walking distance. The staff were very friendly, and the free snack corner was a thoughtful touch. We loved everything about it. An extra bed was not provided for our 7-year-old son, though I believe this is common in many hotels in Singapore.
