• Yilin (4/5): 房间还算整齐。但是房子隔音太差 第一天晚上就有个可爱的警察叔叔上来说我们太吵。明明楼下自己讲话我们都听的见。不知道是不是太久没忍住还是打扫不干净 阳台上有一只晒干了的死老鼠。我晾衣服的时候都吓死了。 -

• Paulina (8/5): Great location and good sized apartment. - Great location. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Only one station to Shinjuku. Good size family suite. We knew there was no lift but it was a bit hard carrying luggage up to the 3rd floor. One night we had a visit from a friendly policeman who asked us to be more quiet. (We are a family of four, including two teenagers and we didn’t think we were too loud.) It felt a bit unnecessary to have the police knock on the door instead of the neighbour who complained but after reading the other reviews it seems to have happened to other guests as well.

• EELIN (6/5): Be quiet then no issue - One stop from Shinjuku, nearby food and restaurants On the first day in the house, the police mentioned downstairs lady complaints about noise, we only take showers at that time.🫠
• Marissa (1/5): Ruined Holiday Due to Last-Minute Cancellation and Poor Support - Our holiday was seriously disrupted due to a last-minute cancellation by the host, which caused significant inconvenience, stress, and unexpected financial loss. We were already at our destination with very limited time, and our plans for 16 January were completely ruined. Instead of enjoying our holiday, we were forced to scramble for alternative accommodation at the last minute, which was far more expensive, and we also had to bear additional costs to move our luggage. This turned what should have been a relaxing trip into a stressful and frustrating experience. What made the situation even worse was the complete lack of meaningful support. A full refund alone is not adequate compensation for the wasted time, added expenses, and distress caused. Even more disappointing was Booking.com’s poor handling of the situation. Despite reaching out for assistance, they were slow, unhelpful, and failed to step in to properly support us or hold the host accountable. This experience reflects poorly on both the host and the platform. I would strongly caution future travelers against relying on this accommodation, and I am equally disappointed by Booking.com’s inability to effectively assist when things went wrong.
• RISA (5/5): - 新大久保駅からは徒歩10分〜15分でした。 周りはコリアタウンや飲食もあり立地は良かったです。 ベッドの台数もあり助かりました。 部屋の中の設備はもう少し便利にしてほしかったです。 ゴミ箱はキッチンのみ１箇所 一部屋はカーテンが遮光ではないので朝、明るさで目が覚めました。 食器洗剤はありますが ハンドソープが無いため、子供連れの方は持参した方がいいと思います。
• SEKIGUCHI (10/5): - 大人4人子供2人の計女6人で泊まったのですが すごく良かったです。 子供達も大喜びでした。 6人が座れるテーブルも置いてあり みんなそこでゆっくりしている感じでした。 横の家の声が聞こえるぐらいには壁は薄いので そこだけお互い気をつけた方が迷惑にならないかなーといった感じでした。 ほかは特に気になることもなく 新大久保も東新宿駅も近いので立地も最高でした。 また利用したいと思いました！
• Robecca (6/5): Worst value for money accommodation during our trip to Japan. - The property was clean. The home was cold and the bedding was insufficient and of low quality.
• Mary Bernadette (4/5): Feeling disappointment and uncomfortable - Nothing at all because we didn’t feel comfortable knowing that the lady living in second floor will call a police again. When we get there the lady living on the second floor went out to tell us to be quiet we didn’t even stay 10 minutes in the room from our arrival but she already called a police saying that we are noisy. Actually we got there almost 10pm because the flight arrival is late then there is no light in the stairs in 3rd floor we can’t see how to open the key box that is why we are talking outside the door and we have a 8 yrs old kid with us who walk freely in the room but since the police came we walk and move like a robot to make no noise and kid with us can’t walk freely in other words we don’t feel comfortable and do always think of the people living downstairs. It’s really dis appointing and sad.

• MIKE S. (7/5): Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would recommend this accommodation. - The room was excellent, very spacious with multiple beds. We were only 4 adults, but we were very satisfied with what we paid as each of us had our own bed. The toilet and kitchen were in good condition. The AC worked very well, with split units in each room, which is especially important during summer in Japan. The only minor issue was with the internet, which kept disconnecting due to a power connection problem. We managed to make it work by using our own cable, so it wasn’t really a big problem and didn’t require calling the owner. Another point to note (more on my side when booking) is that the unit is on the 3rd floor without an elevator. Carrying multiple pieces of luggage up the stairs was a bit challenging. This is not the owner’s fault, but I mention it for awareness of future guests.

Although the apartment felt a little crammed at times, the use of space for bed placements made it worth it, as it allows 5 people to sleep in separate beds. All appliances worked well and amenities provided included soap, shampoo, hand foam soap and laundry soap. Curtains could not fully cover all sunlight coming in, occasionally leading to an early wake-up for light sleepers.

• Jens (9/5): Ema Eve House - Great position. Large enough for family of 5. Easy check in check out. No communal sitting area however this is understandable considering the house caters for bigger families.

• Joelle (5/5): Passable - Location Cleanliness - it was dusty. Hangers were not cleaned. No chairs or table were provided, no hand towels either. No conditioner and the body soup was diluted, we ended up getting our own. No change of towels for a week. Host asked us to wash the towels ourselves, but there wasn’t a dryer to dry, how could the towels be dried at the end of day?
