• Ali (5/5): Clean rooms, but a noisy environment and unexpected price difference made it an uncomfortable stay. - The rooms were clean and the air conditioning provided comfort. However, although I booked the room for $36 via Booking, I was charged $40 in cash at the property. Additionally, a broken sound system plays loud Buddhist chants 24/7 inside the property, making it nearly impossible to rest or sleep. Not ideal for travelers seeking peace and quiet.

• Aisling (10/5): Great place to stay! - Such a lovely place to stay in Mirissa, less than 5 minutes walk to the beach and very close to some nice restaurants and the main street with shops, bars, restaurants etc. but far enough away that it is very peaceful and quiet. I booked a room with Aircon and the room was very spacious, comfortable bed with clean sheets and good mosquito net. The room and bathroom were both very clean and the shower was hot! You can order food to eat there and there is also a small shop in the front garden for buying drinks and snacks which is very convenient. A very enjoyable stay here, good value for money, the host is lovely and very kind and I would recommend it to anyone staying in Mirissa 😊
• Pawan (1/5): Bad - The lady here took more money from us and there is a rule to leave the slippers outside. When we checked out, my slippers were missing and when I asked about it, the staff spoke in a rude manner.i will never go there
• Mohammed (10/5): Surrounded by nature and close to the beach - We reserved the room only a couple minutes ahead cuz of the mixup in another place. The hostess was really welcoming and we got a beautiful room. Almost every day we saw a peacock on the neighbour house roof. Sometimes there were also monkeys. There were beautiful nature sounds and it made it super relaxing to stay there. In the enterance they also have a koi pond with beautiful details of ducks and such. There also a tiny store downstairs. Super convenient. Overall perfect place and would go again Everything was perfect

• Silviu (8/5): Very good - House is nice, room is ok. The ceiling fan was driving us crazy, was oscillating making a bad noise, hard to sleep with it. But turning it off would not be an option because of the humidity and temperature. Air-conditioning had also some problems with the display.

• Ольга (10/5): Exceptional - A wonderful place, wonderful mistress. The price, place is location, the ability to order breakfast, lunch or dinner at a good price. I lived in three places in Mirissa at about the same prices and this guest house left the best impressions! There are air conditioning, numbers with and without a balcony, I lived in two versions. If I am still in these parts, I will definitely return to this guest house!
• Thomas (1/5): Bad - There wouldn't be enough space here to list everything that's bad about this accommodation. But by far the worst is the terrible hostess, who ruined our entire stay.
• Alixandra (8/5): Comfy beds, good location - Very comfortable beds, large rooms. We had breakfast one morning and it took a while but was very tasty! Also very handy that they have a little shop at the end of the driveway . Perfect for water purchases and the ice cream treat. They offered a laundry service They charge more than anywhere else , it took two days to get back and it came back smelling of mould. So I wouldn’t bother with that.

• Monideepa (2/5): Very poor - I had a disappointing experience at this guest house due to multiple issues that made my stay frustrating. First, the **room service policy** was unreasonable. I was told that rooms are cleaned **only once every five days**. Basic hygiene and upkeep should not be such a struggle for guests. Second, **payment hassles** were unnecessary and unprofessional. The management **agreed to accept dollars**, but upon receiving $10 & 20 bills, they suddenly **changed their stance**, saying only $100 bills would do or that I should **exchange it for Sri Lankan Rupees**. This wasted **45 minutes of my time** just trying to find a currency exchange, which could have been avoided with proper clarity upfront. The experience felt like a **bait-and-switch**, where what was **promised did not match what was delivered**. It was frustrating to deal with inconsistent information and inconvenient policies. The **only saving grace** was the **fresh food**, which was probably the only thing done right. However, given the overall experience, I would not recommend staying here unless these issues are addressed. • Sally (7/5): Some good and some not so good points - Comfortable bed, Aircon, breakfasts Handy shop, run by cheerful husband, at the entrance to the garden. Power sockets - only one UK style socket dangerously-placed in the bathroom! Other types of socket, unusable, behind bed head which was too heavy to move. We would have appreciated a larger/extra shelf in the bathroom. For us (70 years old, but fit and strong), too far to comfortably walk twice a day to/from beaches/restaurants in the heat.

My room was very clean and well furnished, even the washroom was well modernised, considering I probably booked the cheapest room in town. I am also very impressed by the positive and kind attitude of the family running it, I was treated very well, which was beyond expectation.

The toilet, like in a good hotel, is clean, in general the bathroom is very good, clean. There is hot water, but only a solar system. The common areas are also very beautiful, very well maintained, plenty of space to sit. They have a cafe right there, the hostess cooks different dishes. They also have a shop where they sell everything you need, snacks, buns, water, ice cream. The guesthouse is reasonably priced. Located close to the beach and the center. There are many cafes along the street. There is a pond nearby, trees grow, peacocks, monkeys and many different birds. I think that such a ratio of price, quality, amenities, beauty and location is difficult to find in Sri Lanka. I highly recommend! Nothing

• Stuart (9/5): Quiet place to stay - The husband and wife that own the property were very caring and were very helpful in explaining about any questions I asked about Room was very clean with good air conditioner nice small sitting area out side my front door views not great from my room but that didn’t bother me! Plenty of tuk tuks driving up and down the road that you can catch for a lift cost 300 to go to the end of road and the same to go to beach Would highly recommended staying here The only thing the bathroom towel had a hole and was a bit thin, needs replacing but was clean

• Lili (5/5): Passable - It was clean and the location was good The host's behavior of cancelling my booking at first and trying to sell me tours or stuffs bothered me. the internet needed to be recharged and it took like two hours for her to do it. The most important thing is that in Google map you find this property with another name which was confusing and i asked her before going in booking and she didn't reply me so I went there by comparing t the pictures of google map and booking.

• Emma (10/5): Beautiful stay in Mirissa with very kind friendly hosts! - We only stayed one night here but it was the perfect place to stay in Mirissa! Run by a lovely, kind family who made us feel very at home. The lady was so smiley and friendly and offered us dinner, breakfast and whale watching if we wanted it. There is a little shop right outside which is perfect for snacks. Location is also ideal, walking distance from everything. Thanks so much!!

• Josefine (7/5): Good - Good location, Clean room with aircon and mosquito net, easy parking space for the TukTuk, Kiosk out front and nice food cooked by host available (dinner and breakfast). Laundry service was great, but a bit pricy. Accommodation was good value for price though. -24€ for two nights Bathroom started to smell heavily overnight, WiFi did not work, we had to ask for towels and toilet paper.

The price was cheaper than any other places I found, and its a very peaceful beautiful home, with separate rooms upstairs. The room with attached bathroom was even bigger than I needed. Also, there is a small store on the compound that made getting drinks and snacks super easy. Its a good location, and within walking distance to everything you need. Very helpful and kind family running the guest house. Nothing, I ended up staying more days...
