Logement pas très propre comme nous sommes venus en basse saison.

- Valeria (8/5): - Nice and flexible staff
- Samia (8/5): Very good - The owner is very nice and helpful and her daughter very cute and funny to talk to as she's very fluent in english!
Our stay was for one night only as we were expecting to reach Rabbit Island.
The room was very basic but ok for one night or if you're on a budget.
Garden is great and the guesthouse well located, 5mn walk from the boat to Rabbit Island.
We also tried the breakfast at the restaurant with the same name on the pier, good value for money.
- Roland (10/5): Exceptional - Great wi fi and air conditioning.
- Sven (8/5): Very good - Quiet Location, much greenery around the propertie Bad WiFi and bad Phone Signal
- Lewis (8/5): Decent value for money. - Lovely people. The lady helped us hire a scooter as well as transport to Kampot. Her lovely young daughter is always around chatting in her perfect English. Good location outside of the hustle and bustle but only 5 mins drive from it. The bathroom has a vent with open wholes which let quite a few mosquitoes in.
- Rasmey (9/5): Superb -
- Margot (9/5): Superb -
- Ellen (5/5): Definitely budget travelling - Nice staff, livable room, makes sense for the price Facilities are not well sealed so big spiders, worms, and lizards were in the room. There was also no air con, only a fan, so it was very hot.
- Cyd (10/5): Exceptional - Nice and quiet, away from the crowds
- Marcello (10/5): Relaxing and friendly guesthouse - Cheerful and kind host! We felt at home a we received prompt support anytime we needed information or help, thanks !
The location is peaceful and just a few meters from the sea
- Rebecca (6/5): Great location for walking to good coffee shop and along the view of the trees and water. - Breakfast was down the road at a good local restaurant, with a fancy one across the street if you'd like a nice view, both on a little harbor. I was hoping to see some wildlife, the photos make the 'guest house' look more jungly than it is. As I was leaving, the gracious lady showed me the open-air loft upstairs where I could hammock and watch for creatures that come from the trees to run along the banisters. The room might have been cleaner but she got it ready for me when I arrived early.
- Jo (10/5): Would definitely return to this lovely family run guesthouse - So friendly and welcoming
A lovely restaurant owned by family members with a five minute walk
Helping with onward travel details Nylon sheets, so hot
- Holger (9/5): Superb - Very friendly and well English speaking host. It's located close to the old pier in a calm area.
The guest house is a green oasis where you can relax and enjoy the silence.
Their restaurant is also very recommendable. They have a great selection of different meals and yummy shakes.
- Lina (9/5): The owner really helpful ,friendly and the location is close to the beach area -
- Besseau (9/5): Superb -
- Miroslav (8/5): Very good - Lady owner is so lovely helpful person. Very kind - allowed us to use a kettle uncluds water to make coffee. Helped people with transport bookings.
Room very basic, yet good enough for the price.
Outdoor common area - cute, nice. Would appreciate a few details like a cup you put toothbrush in, more toiletries than just tiny bar of soap. Not really an issue.
WiFi not working efficiently - annoying.
- Christian (10/5): Calm place in Kep - Staff is amazing , they helped me with my transfer and for rent a scooter
- Lewis (10/5): I would recommend for someone who is looking for a nice welcoming guesthouse with a helpful family managing. The locatio - Guesthouse is managed by family that is very welcoming and helpful. The family really improved our stay. They helped us with a good scooter rental for our stay in Keb. The room was clean and comfortable. Good value for money. The guesthouse is nice and relaxing with communal hammocks.
The location is not very central, this is nice if you are looking to stay somewhere more quiet. However, I would recommend renting a scooter to get to around. Nothing.

The lady and her young daughter communicate in English and a touch of French, adding charm to the experience. The rest of the staff is equally welcoming and friendly, creating a lovely atmosphere. Unfortunately, the restaurant is currently closed.
- Olgica (6/5): Pleasant -
- Josee (10/5): my place in Kep - I love this place every time that I come to Kep. cheap but ok, clean. nice family.
- Roneen (7/5): Need to invest in new linen. - The room and courtyard were kept very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. It was also very quiet. The linen on the beds and the towels were very worn, and the two pillows were covered in mildew. It seems a shame because the guesthouse is otherwise quite nice. It is also a bit far from town.
- Joyce (8/5): Very good - Friendly family guesthouse
- Lukasz (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tiago (10/5): Exceptional - Very very very friendly lady with a good english. We took a bus to Vietnam and she managed talking to them to pick us up at the guest house and suggesting a place which accepts credit card for us to have dinner.
We stayed only for one night, to cross the border to Há Tien. The place is very simple and we didn't need more than that.
- Gareth (9/5): Superb -
- Peter (4/5): A place to stay one night they should paint and charge more - The family I give a ten The rooms need painted we stayed only because the people were nice . I wanted to leave the moment I saw the room
- Jan (8/5): Very good - Nice place to stay in Kep. Friendly and very helpful owner. You can rent a scooter directly at the accommodation. Space in front of the rooms with shelters for relaxing in a hammock or outdoor seating. Before riding a scooter, take the current phone number of the owner, scooters can break down on the way! Faded walls, old tattered blanket.
- Peter (6/5): Basic Accommodation at very reasonable price - Location good and friendly helpful staff. Accommodation was definitely passable but very basic.
- Fiona (8/5): Very good -
- Marius (10/5): Exceptional -
- Madeleine (10/5): 10/10 incredible - Lovely family run place, rooms exceptionally clean with great facilities. Insanely good value for money. Very close the pier to rabbit island. Close to a small strip with Bakery and captain chims amazing restaurant Location not central to coconut beach area.

- Van (8/5): Good price - Cheap guesthouse in a quiet area of Kep. 650 m from pier, for boats to Rabbit Island.
The non AC rooms are equipped with fan but also AC, so if one feels it's too hot with just the fan, one can pay extra to use AC. No breakfast.
Not many shops or restaurants around. The shop of the Total gas station is the nearest to buy water. Captain chim restaurant is 500 m away and provides good food.
- Flavio (10/5): Exceptional - Host very friendly and helpful.
Great place to stay.
- Leevi (9/5): Backpacker friendly place - Host family is extremely friendly and welcoming. Host's sister restaurant is good aswell. Air conditioned room is good. And outdoor garden with hammocks is beautiful and peaceful. Room's soundproofing, eletrics and WIFI could be better
- Andrei (9/5): Superb -
- Lenin (10/5): Exceptional - Wonderful guesthouse, the room was clean and comfortable. The host was incredibly friendly and accommodating. She gave us sweet tasty mango everyday from her garden.
The hotel offer bike rental service, boat trips to Rabbit Island and help contact tuk tuk driver, making exploration of the area more convenient. The host's daughter, who is both happy and helpful, gave us notes with cute stickers.
The atmosphere at this hotel is truly special, with a super friendly and happy family vibe. I am already looking forward to returning and experiencing this wonderful hospitality once again. Highly recommended!
- Anna (10/5): Exceptional - Great value for money, the host was amazing and very helpful and so was her daughter :)
- Davina (7/5): Lovely Staff - Lovely owners and staff. Very happy to help and very kind.
Very nice outside area with lots of hammocks and space to put up your own if you have one.
We were left alone to enjoy the room and property, which is greatly appreciated. Sadly, there is currently a building site opposite that starts work at 7am and is VERY loud. We were offered a room swap, but it's too loud to avoid by just moving down the row of rooms.
- Karl (7/5): Good -
- Mark (7/5): Good -
- Keith (9/5): Superb -
- Guy (7/5): Nice place, but far from everything - Nice place, Super lovely hosts. Location. It's far from everything. Nothing much around. Mostly suitable if you're looking for a place to just rest, or plan to rent a scooter to get around.
- Petr (10/5): Trip with friends - I can only recommend. Nice and helpful owner assisted by her children. Nice accommodation for a good price.
- Igor (10/5): I was glad to stay at Captains Chim)) - Very nice owner, she manages business more than 20 years and can help you with advices and really friendly support. Amazing place with garden, very clean and calm. If you really want to meet Khmer hospitality it's the best place!! The owner speaks very good English, do there are no problem if you need to know where to go, to order Tuktuk or bus. Excellent! Thank you for great comfort! Everything was just perfect!

We had our laundry washed and dried $1 a kilo.
We hired a scooter
We ate at a restaurant recommended by the staff, which turned out to serve fantastic food at a very reasonable price .
For the price, Captain Chim was an amazing find.
Would highly recommend this place to anyone. X
- Kathy (8/5): Great, basic, guesthouse…. Close to dock for Rabbit Island - Lovely friendly staff
Nice room
Great location to the dock to Rabbit Island
Good aircon No complimentary tea/ coffee/ water
Shower head hose was spurting from 2 places and not hot water.
- Mark (8/5): Very good -
- Martha (8/5): Good value for money, friendly staff. - The staff were lovely and friendly, with the most adorable daughter (Chhing). Lovely outdoor area with hammocks, comfy beds, laundry was quick - overall great value for money. Location is a little far, tuk tuk is needed.
We had ants nest in our bathroom but was cleared with spray, bathrooms could do with a good clean.
- Theresa (8/5): Very good - Easy to rent a scooter, electric kettle available Very hot also with fan (however AC rooms available for an extra charge)
- Francis (9/5): Superb -
- Aurélie (9/5): Superb - The owner is very friendly, the place is clean and comfortable, the location next to the pier is convenient to go to rabbit island.
- Михаил (8/5): Very good -
- Alejandro (8/5): Very welcoming Guesthouse - Very welcoming staf.! They rent me a scooter on a spotless condition for a really good price. Clean rooms. Rooms were facing an inner courtyard and it can get a bit loud during the day, but at night it gets really quiet. Kep is really spread so there's no really a good area where to stay, but the guesthouse was a bit far from the crab market/national park area to walk. Closest restaurant is the one from the guesthouse (quite standard guesthouse restaurant, very clean food with easy-Khmer and western fare at good prices) at around a 5m walk.
- Cassidy (9/5): Superb - Nice room, big comfortable bed, beautiful garden and very friendly helpful staff. The hotel is close to the Rabbit Island ferry, just 5 min. walk, walking distance to butterfly garden.few minutes drive to Kep beach and National park. The hotel is far from the city centre, but the price is fair for the location. Bed clothes were not cotton, so they made me feel a little uncomfortable to sleep.
- Sopanha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ewa (9/5): Superb - It's a very nice place to stay. The hostess is very helpful, speaks English fluently. There's no food provided, but there are restaurants about 10 minutes away. Very good value for money . I recommend that place :)
- Valerie (10/5): Wonderful place with wonderful owners!! - Lovely place!
I actually had a medical emergency and the owner made sure I received medical attention and checked on me the next day.
Wonderful owner!!
I am so so grateful to them!!
Bed was comfortable!
Location is great!!
Quiet but in a central spot to everything
- Oliver (9/5): Good stay in Captain Chim's Guest House - We have arrived outside of their reception hours but late check in was granted shortly after request. We had a simple room without the use of air-conditioning which is no problem as there is a bis fan facing the bed and the nice green garden area cools down the temperature a bit. For Aircon user, there is an room upgrade with Aircon use optional bookable. Wi-fi was stable and fast. Very good information about transportation to border and quick response in booking com chat. Keep it up! Pro Tip! Their restaurant near the guesthouse serves delicious inexpensive breakfast. Give it a try;-)
- Leang (8/5): Very good -
- Dtmrf (7/5): Good - The owner was very helpful and always smiling. It was too hot with just a fan, but A/C for one night would have been more expensive than our entire stay. Very slow WiFi.
- Luigi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paul (8/5): Very good - Cozy and confortable room, with hot water.
The owner is really friendly and you can easily rent a scooter or book a bus trip to another city.
- Mike (8/5): Nice and quiet. The reception area needs some cleaning. Overpriced. -
- Lindy (9/5): AMAZING Budget-Friendly Stay - Loved how clean it was, especially for the price you would expect a dirty hole in the wall. But it was SUPER clean and spacious. The owner also allowed us to leave our bike there while overnighting on the island. We also checked in early and they had no problem with it. A gem!! When you open the taps (water) there is a smell coming from the pipes. The water is clean but smelly. Don't know if they would be able to do anything about it.
- Katie (8/5): Very friendly and cosy guesthouse, great value for money. - Captain Chin’s guesthouse is great. Very good value for money and if you’re happy to rent a scooter/car this is the ideal accommodation. Only a 10 min drive into the main town, it has cosy, comfy rooms with all the necessary amenities. Would recommend. The only thing is the guesthouse is a 10 min drive away from the main town so if you do not drive then you have to pay for a tuktuk or taxi to get in.
- Das (10/5): Exceptional - Enchanting place, beautiful people! All good souls..
- Samkim (6/5): It was o.k. - country feeling bed make a noise, no tv
- Baret (7/5): Good - The staf Internet network very bad
- Elena (10/5): Exceptional - I had a very nice stay with Rya who was always very helpful. I loved the place even though it’s a bit far from everything. Her sister’s restaurant at the pier is also worth trying (vegan options!)
- Adam (8/5): Captain my Captain Chim's - Comfortable beds, good ac, good shower. The owner, Rhea is very helpful and speaks English. It's also excellent value, I paid 15 dollars a night. No food or drink provided on site, but the guesthouse's sister establishment, Captain Chim's restaurant is near by and has excellent food and drink.
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good - Best value for money. Air conditioning was perfect and room and facilities were clean. A few little friends but nothing to indicate uncleanliness. Again, best value for money. A little hard to get to and out of the way.
- Santiago (9/5): Superb - Rooms around a lovely tropical courtyard. The owner is super helpful, she bought for me the bus tickets to Can Tho. There you can rent motorbikes which are convenience to move around the area. The room was spotless. Hard mattress as usually in Cambodia. Highly recommend the place. Everything was fine
