The apartment was equipped with little treats like coffee or bottles of water which show the real care for guest comfort. The occasional noise from the street in the night audible in bedrooms

• Vincenza (10/5): Soggiorno fantastico nel cuore di Firenze! - Siamo rimasti stupiti dalla pulizia perfetta della casa: ogni ambiente era curato nei minimi dettagli e davvero impeccabile. L’appartamento è molto accogliente, ben arredato e dotato di tutto il necessario per un soggiorno confortevole. La posizione è eccellente, a pochi passi dalla stazione e comodissima per raggiungere tutti i principali monumenti e luoghi d’interesse di Firenze. Un ringraziamento speciale a Diana, la proprietaria, che è stata gentilissima, disponibile e sempre attenta. La sua ospitalità ci ha fatto sentire subito a casa. Consigliamo vivamente questo soggiorno: è stata un’esperienza davvero piacevole e siamo rimasti molto contenti. Speriamo di tornare presto!

Kitchen also was equipped with basic things like salt, tea, coffee etc. We loved the apartment and I’d definitely recommend for a stay in Florence. Host was also very communicative, helpful. • Alexandra (10/5): Un super appart. A réserver absolument. - L’appartement était plus grand que nous avions imaginé juste en regardant les photos sur Booking. Très bien équipé, nous avons pu nous faire des bons petits déjeuners. Diana nous a prévu des capsules de café, de l’eau dans le frigo et des snacks. Super si vous arrivez un peu affamés. Les lits sont grands. Il y a de quoi ranger ses affaires et il y a même des jouets pour les tout petits. L’emplacement était top : proche de tout et en plus juste en bas deux très bons restaus et à 100 m, le restaurant La Garga, avec de Taglioni del Magnifico….magnifiques :))). Un peu de bruit car la rue est passante. Aussi le trotuar est très étroit à des endroits et il est difficile d’y passer avec des valises et des enfants. Mais ce n’est pas la faute de l’hôte. Tout le centre de Florence est comme ça
• Kristien (10/5): mooi ruim appartement, perfecte locatie - Een mooi verzorgd en ruim appartement op een perfecte locatie 10 minuten wandelen van de dom, en minder dan 5 minuten van de Arno, Strozzi, Santa Maria Novella. Alles was piekfijn in orde. Diana was een heel vriendelijke host. Er was een lift in het gebouw, lekkere restaurantjes vlak buiten de deur. Beter kon het niet. Staat los van het appartement, maar in de smalle straatjes echoot het geluid van laatavond-stappers sterk. Dus een suggestie voor slechte slapers: best oordoppen meenemen.
• Natalie (10/5): Location, facilities, and staff are incredible! - We loved everything about Casa del Moro! The location can’t be beat - it’s right next to one of the bridges that you can walk across to get some of the best gelato in Florence. It’s a 7 min walk to the Ponte Vechio to get the best view of the bridge. And it’s at the corner of the shopping triangle. It’s also right next door to Trattoria del Giovanni, where you can get a delicious meal that is priced just right. The building is 600 years old but kept well and there’s an elevator (my mom loved this feature). The apartment is very clean and Diane, our host, was so friendly and helpful. I would stay here again next time I’m in Florence. Nothing
• Joi Freed-Garrod (9/5): Spacious, comfortable apartment in a fabulous location! - Location is fabulous! Very close to the Ponte Vecchio, Duomo and other attractions, one block over the river to the best gelato ever! Many good restaurants in the neighbourhood. It is convenient to Santa Maria Novella train station. Our host Diana was very helpful. The apartment is large and kitchen well equipped. We prefer to sleep with open windows and since the street is busy, there was both people and vehicle noise at night. ( this is just information when making an accommodation choice)
• Sharon (9/5): Amazing hosts and location. - The location was amazing. The beds were comfortable. Towels and linens were very good and comfortable. Definitely enough space for the two of us and our 21 year old daughter. Everything we could have needed was available in the apartment, even a sewing kit and first aid kit!! The host, Diana, was very responsive and very pleasant. There was an extreme heat wave in Florence which made it unbearable on the second floor (which was really the 3rd floor). Not the host's fault as I understand it is impossible to have air conditioning in every room in downtown Florence. There was one portable air conditioner in the living room, so we slept there on the sofa bed which made it bearable. However, our daughter was still quite hot in her room. The two working fans just weren't powerful enough. Not sure of the solution, but very difficult if you are middle aged and suffer from hot flashes!!!!!

• Elizabeth (7/5): Great location for exploring Florence - Great central location. The apartment is in a very old palazzo with great character. Dianna was a lovely host who explained everything like how to use the washing machine etc. No working oven or microwave. Shower did not drain and would easily overflow onto the floor. There was an ever present smell of sewerage but we understand it is a very old building with old plumbing. If you stay here you will need mosquito repellent, it was late October and we were constantly being harassed by the pesky little insects. This area of Florence is very noisy so bring ear plugs if you want to sleep.
• Vladislav (10/5): We had a very enjoyable stay here! - Spacious, roomy, airy and well equipped apartment with easy access by elevator. The perfectly central location is a huge added bonus: Il Duomo, SMN, Palazzo Vecchio and all others gems are all within a ten minute leisurely walk.

• Nangavaram (6/5): Apartment is spacious but for the money charged the fact that there is no ac and no microwave is not - Easy directions No AC . No washer and no microwave. This causes significant challenge during July August September months. Really hot and the fans provided were not enough. Also no dishwasher makes it hard when you have family staying and trying to cook and eat

• Christina (9/5): Great location, good valve. - Excellent location. Very responsive hosts. Unit is small, but has all you need. This unit well worth price, can easily walk everywhere. A few more amenities would be nice. Such as additional fans, more TP, info on water. Check in was a bit confusing since our train was delayed getting keys to check in could be problematic, we were lucky to arrive very close to one of the hosts.
• Fiona (10/5): Beautiful apartment in central Firenze. - Diana was such a lovely, responsive host. She was very accommodating to our changing check in time. The apartment was spacious, very comfortable and in a fabulous central location. It was perfect for our stay in Firenze!

Extras provided such as snacks, condiments and drinks, which was a nice surprise. Friendly host with excellent communication. Washing machine door needs fixing and oven wasn’t working, but host is aware and will presumably fix.
• Qinzheng (10/5): Exceptional - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa del Moro! The apartment was very clean, spacious, and felt like a second home! The rooms were very big and comfortable, and we could enjoy lots of natural light during the day. The place was well stocked with everything you could need: we used the kitchen, washing machine, drying rack, and ironing board, and our host was incredibly hospitable in showing us where everything was and how to use it. The property is located in close walking distance to many restaurants, shops, and tourist sights. I highly recommend staying here, it’s a beautiful home right in the heart of Florence.

Kitchen and dining room were put to good use as we prepped breakfasts at home before setting out on our adventures and sipped wine in the evening. Hosts were very accommodating and let us drop out bags off before check-in so we could start our day while they finished cleaning. Everything you could want for a lovely visit to florence! Great value, would definitely stay here again!

The apartment was spacious and clean and Diana had even left us a little basket of goods which was a lovely touch. There was no air con and we had to keep the windows closed at night due to mosquitos so it was quite hot for sleeping even with the portable fans.

• Mariana (8/5): Very good - We had a great stay in Florence. This is a quite spacious flat with all amenities (just no A/C), but fans for each room were provided. We stayed when the temperatures were high around 37C. The location is great, about 10mins walk from the Duomo. Little grocery shop around the corner. Excellent ice-cream across the bridge. We parked at the Garage Internationale, about 5 mins walk away from the flat (booked online in advance - was charged 35Eur/day, the garage does also the registration for the Florence inner city zone entry). Diana was always helpful and accommodating. Many thanks Diana.

The apartment is really characterful and tastefully furnished: plenty of space, Wi-Fi and Netflix provided too. A tiny bit of street noise on a couple of nights, though certainly not enough to be an issue.
