• Aline (7/5): - The pool is nice because it's in the shade most of the day, and we really appreciated it after a day going around the island. Room is big and the bed was comfortable. The place is a little bit run down. The pool needs to be fixed in a lot of different places, and the water was a little bit cloudy, and full of insects. Deck chairs and bean bags need to be replaced. The room didn't look really well cared. The fridge was full of mold and even if you lock the door, there is still a hole between the door and the wall.
• Henrik Svend (1/5): Et fuldstændigt forfærdeligt sted uden nogen form for service eller stolthed! - Intet Her kommer jeg til at være kritisk: der var lukket i receptionen da vi ankom, og den var lukket resten af dagen. der var fyldt med små insekter og myg på værelset og bad. Udenfor døren var der en myggerede. Der var mug på gummilisten til køleskabet, som ovenikøbet var fyldt med vand. Der var store spindelvæv, det lignede ikke der var gjort rent længe. En flise var gået løs ved poolen, som resulterede i at vores søn faldt og skrabede skinnebenet hårdt. Poolen var beskidt langs siderne, så meget at badetøj og børneveste fik brune pletter ved kontakt. Føj! Da jeg efter en enkelt overnatning går i receptionen og pointerer disse fejl og mangler, samt siger at jeg ønsker at tjekke ud (vi havde booket en hel uge), siger bestyreren ingenting. Ikke den mindste beklagelse eller uforståelse, hun tager blot imod nøglerne og siger ok. Man kan ikke klage over serviceniveauet, for den eksisterer ikke der. Jeg pointerer tydeligt at jeg ønsker en form for refundering, hvor bestyreren siger at dette skal gøres via booking.com. Efter flere henvendelser, har jeg dog ikke fået refunderet en eneste krone. Overvej om I ønsker at bo her. Der er ingen valuta for jeres penge her, medmindre I ønsker at brænde dem af.

Bed was so comfortable - Shower was great! The pool was often in the shade - not always a bad thing when its boiling hot - but makes sun bathing a bit more difficult!

Ubytovanie má jednoduchšie zariadenie, ale bolo ciste. Občasný hluk z vedľajšieho pozemku, kde stavajú další hotel. Ale nie je to nič tragické iba občas robotníci buchli kladivom.

• Sarah (5/5): personnel gentil mais ça ne suffit pas du tout … rapport qualité prix très décevant - Le personnel et l emplacement ainsi que l’offre petit déjeuner Très vieillissant, cher pour les prestations, le pommeau de douche qui fuit et plein de calcaire, la glace de la salle de bain cassée, le sommier en béton (pas du tout confortable pour dormir), le linge de lit avec des bouloches ça grattait pour dormir. Rapport qualité prix très décevant, je pense que l’on peut trouver mieux, finalement on paye plus cher pour la piscine mais elle est petite et pas nickel par rapport à l’eau (mon fils a fait une éruption cutanée après s’être baigné). Au tarif des chambres, cela semble quand même d’investir quelque centaines de baths dans les équipements de salle de bain a minima !!!

Peut etre la piscine car chaude, et à la fois ensoleillée et ombragée, mais il ne faut pas regarder sa propreté 😱 Personnel absent (fermeture de l’accueil à 17h, c’est censé être ouvert jusque 22h), les enfants ont été malades du coup impossible d’avoir des draps propres pour le reste de la nuit Insonorité des chambres,clim bruyante,lits inconfortables, Travaux juste à coté, ils ne nous ont pas prévenu en avance et nous avons demandé à quelle heure commencaient les ouvriers, soit disant 11h mais à 7h ils faisaient déjà du bruit 😱 Bref surtout n’y aller pas !

Cena też była spoko Mieli naprawdę smaczne śniadania - tutaj duży plus - łazienki do remontu - grzyb, zapach pleśni, swoja świetność miały laaaaata temu. - kto wpadł na pomysł klimatyzatora 50cm nad łóżkiem ? Przy dziecku śpiącym na górnym łóżku, klimatyzator w nocy nie do użycia. - sama klimatyzacja nie za czysta - basen z tona chloru, ale przez 4 dni nie widziałem by ktoś go czyścił. - no i niestety budowa zaraz za murem, jak rano pijesz kawę na tarasie to budowlańcy zaglądają w twój kubek. To naprawdę jest „zaraz za”
• Mirjam (5/5): Det som ändå gjorde vår vistelse bra var läget och närheten till stranden. Vi var bara på boendet när vi sov och åt fruk - Det positiva med boendet var läget och frukosten. Även personalen var hjälpsam och trevlig för det mesta. Det är många saker på boendet som är nedgånget. Poolen är inte fräsch, i vårt rum var det många fläckar på väggarna, myror inomhus och en allmänt sjaskig känsla.

• Renée (7/5): Friendly staff and good location, but… - Friendly staff and good location. And the swimming pool is really a plus. There was an awful, almost unbearable, smell from the sewage in the room, which had been there when we moved in. Obviously it was not only in our room. It took two days of complaints before the hotel somehow resolved the sewage problem and then it got better. However almost the half of our stay in Koh Lanta had been spoiled by this. We did not get even an apology (nor any hint of some kind of refund). Also, in the bathroom, the old shower has just a few holes left that still let water through, so it is almost no shower (water pressure was OK though), the toilet sometimes did not flush and the light in the bathroom sometimes worked and sometimes not. There was no complimentary drinking water in the room (as we had in every hotel in Thailand). All in all, the premises are outdated and neglected, and not especially clean, the price that we paid (about 100 EUR per night) does not correspond at all to this “quality” of the accommodation. Yes, and there is a noisy construction going on right next to the hotel now.

Hotellia ei ole ylläpidetty, ja siivous ei ole kovin laadukasta vaikka siivojia monta päivittäin. Kylpyhuone varsinkin kaipaisi päivitystä. Huoneessa myös pieniä ötököitä iltaisin lattialla.

• Roberto (3/5): Meglio evitare - Nulla Non è un hotel ma un affitta camere. Le porte a vetri delle camere affacciano sul ballatoio comune: si sente e si vede tutto e non vi è alcuna privacy. La camera viene pulita una volta ogni due giorni, la colazione non è nulla di speciale. La piscina è stretta tra il fabbricato e un muro. Esoso in rapporto alla qualità e nel complesso piuttosto brutto.

The staff were super friendly and kind, just like I remember from my first time on Koh Lanta over 20 years ago. There was some construction work going on next door which was a little noisy although it didn’t start too early so it was okay.

• Marta (8/5): Perfetto per qualche notte - L’hotel è a pochi passi dalla spiaggia. La camera era molto semplice, pulita e aveva tutto l’essenziale per il soggiorno. Viene pulita solo su richiesta. La colazione era super abbondante e varia. Lo consiglierei e ci tornerei! Forse un po’ caro rispetto ad altre strutture della zona per quello che offre.
• Juliette (2/5): Passez votre chemin si vous chercher un minimum de qualité - Le pire hôtel que nous ayons fait en Thaïlande jusqu’à présent. Chambre très mal finie : la plainte du mur est tombée en pleine journée. Le personnel est froid et peu accueillant. L’insonorisation est inexistante : on entend absolument le moindre bruit. La nuit, nous étions réveillés par des bruits de souris courant dans le toit, et le matin par les passages des gens et des enfants. La salle de bain est sombre et peu fonctionnelle. Le jet du pommeau de douche est extrêmement agressif, plus adapté pour trancher une pomme que pour se laver correctement. Si vous recherchez un minimum de qualité et de tranquillité, passez clairement votre chemin

Petit déjeuner excellent avec 4 formules différentes au choix. Piscine petite et pas nettoyée. Draps jaunis (mais propres). Au global on a passé un bon séjour mais cet hôtel est cher pour la Thaïlande et pour cette qualité.

• Silvia (8/5): Good value for money - The location is definitely a strong point. The beach is just a two-minute walk away, and there are many restaurants nearby, which is very convenient. The room was quite spacious, and there is also the possibility to rent a scooter directly at the property for 300 baht per day, which made getting around easy. The room door did not close properly, which affected sound insulation and meant the air conditioning needed to stay on most of the time, including at night. This was a bit uncomfortable and not very energy efficient. The bathroom would benefit from some maintenance, as it felt dated and had an unpleasant smell. The shower had very low water pressure and, being open, caused water to spread throughout the bathroom. Overall, considering the price paid and the excellent location, the stay was acceptable, but some maintenance and small improvements would greatly enhance comfort. Additionally, when renting the scooter, we were asked to pay in cash, as paying by card was discouraged due to uncertainty about whether they would receive the money in their bank account or not, which was a bit unexpected for an accommodation that hosts international guests.
• Martin (7/5): - Na pláž cca 200 metrů, slušný bazén, blízko mnoho restaurací, barů a masáží. Přijeli jsme, předali nám klíče a tím veškerý zájem personálu skončil. Po celém Thajsku doplňována voda, zde ne. Úklid jednou za tři dny. Wifi prakticky nefunguje. Za cenu, kterou jsme zaplatili, to bylo drahé. Navíc hned vedle se momentálně staví nová budova, takže celodenní hluk.

• johneyde (7/5): Ein einfaches, persönlich geführtes Hotel mit sehr guter Lage, nettem Personal und gutem Essen - Die Lage des Cha-Cha Hotels ist sehr gut: in wenigen Minuten zu Fuss ist man am Klong-Khong-Beach, zudem gibt es zahlreiche Restaurants und Bars in direkter Umgebung. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist insgesamt fair für Ko Lanta. Der Betreiber und sein Team, insbesondere Nathalie sind sehr herzlich, offen und hilfsbereit bei Empfehlungen für Ausflüge, Restaurants oder beim Rollerverleih. Die Roller waren in gutem Zustand. Die Atmosphäre ist entspannt und persönlich, mit einem gemischten Publikum von jung bis alt. Das Frühstück war gut, ebenso das Essen im Restaurant – wir haben dort mehrfach gegessen und waren jedes Mal zufrieden. Auch der Wäsche und Bügelservice hat zuverlässig funktioniert. Obwohl das Hotel gut ausgelastet war, wirkte es nie überfüllt oder laut. Am Pool herrschte eine ruhige, entspannte Stimmung. Wir haben uns für ein Upgrade ins Familienzimmer entschieden, die Grösse war dann für uns optimal. Die Zimmer entsprechen einem klaren Budget-Standard und sind einfach sowie zweckmässig eingerichtet. Die Sauberkeit war insgesamt wechselhaft – sowohl im Zimmer als auch im Poolbereich wurde nicht immer konsequent und gründlich gereinigt. Der Pool hätte aus unserer Sicht regelmässiger gepflegt werden können, war für uns aber dennoch eine willkommene Möglichkeit zur Abkühlung. Die Dusche war sehr einfach, funktionierte jedoch zuverlässig. Die Zimmerreinigung erfolgte auf Nachfrage.
• Leah (10/5): Really clean and comfortable stay. - Our room was spotless and one of the most modern we have had on our travels in Thailand. Room has air con, a fan, hairdryer, extension lead, laundry bag - everything we needed. Hotel does laundry at a reasonable price. The hotel was all out of mopeds when we tried to rent, but the staff gave us recommendations on where to go instead. Room is serviced every two days but are happy to provide anything you need at any time. Location is great, only a 2 minute walk to the beach where there is many restaurants and bars. There was construction right beside the hotel during our stay, but only during the middle of the day so didn’t affect us as we were out exploring.

A stone throw away from the beach which was also nice and quiet, with the most gorgeous sunsets! Room cleaned every 2 days and the pool area was lovely too, with sun on it most of the day. Wi-Fi dipped in and out for us quite a lot but worked outside and by the pool.

• Rebecca (10/5): A week of paradise - We chose cha-cha hotel because it was most budget friendly for our trip and for the location and it completely surpassed our expectations. We had a double room which was spacious, en-suite with a good shower and a chairs and table outside which was really nice to eat breakfast and lunch. It’s about 100m from the beach and the pool was such an added bonus and a proper sun trap. There are resorts on the sea front where you can buy a drink and have access to their sun loungers etc so personally the fact it wasn’t beach front did not matter at all! All the restaurants by the hotel are great, tried out different ones each evening and it’s about a 15 min drive to Klong Dao for the night market. 10/10 would recommend and stay again.

Breakfast place is cozy n cool so homey The lady serving us has a smiley face n v friendly Room..we had room 8 which has 4 windows giving us views in privacy. Location Well located...a short walk to beach to enjoy the stunning sunset .And only 15mins to the east of island to witness a geogeous sunrise . Both old town n Sepladan pier are both easily accessible. Definitely will recommend !

The room was very clean, comfortable and had a great view of the ocean! The staff at Cha Cha were extremely friendly and accommodating. Not a dislike - but the pool area is very small and shared with families with small children, but was not a problem for us as the beach is so close!
