Guest Reviews
- Nicole (3/5): Close to beach and sleeps 8. - Mostly quiet. Comfortable lounge. Modern kitchen. Very steep and narrow off street carpark. Very steep terraced backyard with no shade - not possible for use in summer. No towel hangers in bathroom. No blockout shade on floor to ceiling concertina doors in living/dining making this room hot and very difficult to see the tv during the day. No fans. No fly screens on windows and some windows don’t open. Needs a good clean throughout.
- DAWN (9/5): Highly recommended - Great place and location
- Karoline (9/5): - Loved the space, beautiful interior, kitchen was well equipped! Close to the beach ,restaurants and shops. We loved our stay!
- Andrea (9/5): A wonderful house to stay in for our first visit to Rosebud. - The location was perfect for us, the beds were super comfy and the kitchen was great to cook in.
- Judith (10/5): Responsive hosts and cleaner. A great place for a weekend away with 2 couples or a family - Lovely decor and well maintained.
- Domenica (8/5): Very good - Very Clean, beautifully decorated. Had all the little touches to make our stay comfortable
- Ryan (10/5): Exceptional -
- O.k. (8/5): Very good -
- Amanda (10/5): Stylish, well appointed house within walking distance to beach and resturants - GREAT stay! - Location of the house was excellent as it had close proximity to the beach and multiple choices of cafes and resturants all within walking distance.
The house had all that you needed for a short and/or long stay. Beds were really comfortable and stylishly appointed. There was nothing not to like - stay was just what we wanted for a small break.
- Matt (9/5): Superb - Host was lovely, easy to communicate with.
Newly renovated, nice decor, good location for our weekend plans.
Has absolutely every amenity you could need in a holiday home.
Check in and out was easy It would be great if one day guests were able to park securely (ie use the garage door). This may be a future planned renovation stage, im not sure. Regardless, there were multiple easy parking options with photo instructions provided so we knew our options.
- Molly (10/5): Had the best time! Will definitely be back - Was a beautiful place to get away and enjoy a beautiful house near the beach
- Jodi (9/5): Superb - Loved the house. Great set up for a little one to run around in. Very close to town. Secure yard wad also a bonus!
- Leena (10/5): A lovely breath of fresh air, perfect location and a beautiful renovation, we hope to come back soon! - Modern, clean, well appointed and a gorgeous big kitchen perfect for foodies! It was perfect, we loved every bit!
- Kelly (8/5): Very good - Very spacious home that was in a great location .
And had everything we needed👍 Struggled to find parking for the home
- Ryan (8/5): Stylish and Comfortable - Fantastic renovation! Very comfortable house! Parking was a bit clunky
- Joe (10/5): Exceptional - We loved the comptempory design of the home, its a very welcoming home. We had a nice view of the sunset sky from the balcony while preparing for dinner. The bed are comfortable, plenty of bedrooms, full size dinning table enough to cater large family and friends. The kids loved the place and felt comfortable.
Close to the beach and a short drive away from everything. We would highly recommend to families Nothing much to complain, wasn't sure where to park, but ended up parking on the path like the locals.
- Hirst (10/5): A gorgeous renovated home located in central Rosebud. - The house is located central to Rosebud main street but in a lovely quiet street. The door is a coded lock which prevents locking in the key or having to remember to take them. The house was beautifully renovated and had all the kitchen facilities necessary to cook. Not having household staples like tea bags / coffee, oil for cooking, body wash / soap in the bathroom.
There was no way that we could have put our car into the “private parking” which was essentially driving up a very steep hill through a gate into the backyard.

- Anne (6/5): Potential with good bones - The location was close to the Rosebud Beach and all of the amenities. The Deck out the back was nice and large and the new Tas Oak floors added to the overall beach feel of the house. I loved the bench seating and the huge dinning table in the living/kitchen space. Plenty of storage. Unless you were driving a high-clearance 4WD there was no way to get a car up that driveway to the dilapidated garage with the broken asbestos (?) sheeting without bottoming out. The house definitely needs some finishing off to be completed over the quiet period such as corking around the outside of the French bi-fold doors before moisture gets in and rots them out, adding/changing the single globe ceiling lights in the bedrooms, fixing the landslip/erosion in the backyard, replacing the cracked window in the bunkroom and making sure there is soap in the bathroom dispenser.
- Lauren (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dilek (10/5): Beautiful stay! Highly recommend. - Love what Karen did with the renovations of this stay, it looks and feels incredibly sleek and modern. Beautiful view from the back yard to enjoy the sunset. Very comfortable bed, and close to the beach and town/restaurants. Will definitely be staying here again.
