• Johanna (8/5): À deux pas de tout ce qu'il faut visiter - Très bon accueil de la part de la personne qui tient le restaurant, la chambre est à deux pas de tout ce qu'il faut voir pour découvrir Berat ! Petit déjeuner très bien servie avec un personnel très souriant. Le parking est privé et ne dépend pas de l'hebergeur, attention sur place le tarif c'est à la tête du client et ils n'hésitent pas à vous demander de payer de nouveau une prestation déjà réglée. Nous avons préféré trouver un autre parking.

Nosotros cogimos la habitación triple, que es un ático con el techo bajo y, pese a tener dos ventanas en el techo, poco luminosa. Si volviésemos cogeríamos una de las dobles, que seguro estaban mejor, pero por lo demás todo genial.

There is no parking on site but there is a public car park that is very cheap ( 6€ per day ). The rooms are very nice and the shower was great. The rooms don't have the best sound proofing but as it is a calm area it didn't stop us from sleeping.

Aussi bien le passage dans les parties communes que les autres chambres. Les rues sont calmes la nuit donc nous avons bien dormis malgré tout. Il n’y a pas de Check in à proprement parlé. Personne n’est présent à la réception passée une certaine heure. C’est à nous de nous servir parmi les clés disposées sur le desk d’accueil.

• Stella (8/5): Hotel molt ben situat sense estar al lloc mes turistic i amb habitació amb molt d’encant - L’habitacio era molt gran i amb bacó amb una tauleta i dues cadires amb vistes boniques sobre teulats i el pont a un costat i el poble a l’altre. Habitacio molt lluminosa i amb mobles antics i ben cuidats que li dinaven una atmosfera que acompanya l’edifici. A l’habitacio hi havia un bullidor d’aigua i dues tasses i com q jo sempre porto infusions ens va anar molt bé. El bany era petit pero molt nou i complert. La noia que hi havia al hotel va ser molt ate ta a l’hora del esmorzar. Tot ha anat molt bé! Només, des del meu punt de vista, els hi recomenaria canviar les bombetes de la zona del esmorzar, ja que eren molt fredes, quadi blavoses i no ajuden a crear un ambient bonic.

The breakfast was varied and filling and the hosts were lovely! Room was clean and very comfy able. Restaurante Homemade Amalia is a must visit if you are staying, as the food was delicious!

This hotel was a highlight of my trip—the interior was amazingly clean and beautifully designed, offering a peaceful escape from the more crowded areas. ​The breakfast was super great, featuring fresh local ingredients that were the perfect start to a day of exploring. Staying on this side of the river gives you the best views and a much more authentic feel. Highly recommended for its comfort and hospitality!

• Michael (10/5): Charming place in the Gorica part of Berat - Just wonderful. In the quiet part of Berat, our host was amazing with a wonderful smile as she served a fresh breakfast each day. Enquiring about yesterday's activities and what we were planning on doing that day. Couldn't have been friendlier and more charming, thank you. The room was a good size and the stay was excellent value for money. Bonus was getting there parking just down the road for 3 euros per day.

Hay que asegurarse de elegir habitaciones con balcón. El acceso al hotel es por una calle empedrada no muy práctica para maletas. Hay escaleras estrechas para subir a las habitaciones. Baño pequeño y no cambian las toallas si se mojan porque no hacen las habitaciones.
• Lena (8/5): - Die Lage ist super und abseits vom Trouble. Das Frühstück war hervorragend, mit den beiden Frauen konnte man super auf Englisch kommunizieren. Check-in war etwas kompliziert, da sich jeder selbst einchecken musste und die Email zu spät kam. Als wir ankamen war nur die Reinigungskraft vor Ort, die kein Englisch sprach. Die Eingangstür stand bis 0 Uhr offen.

• Brittany (8/5): - This hotel is a good deal. The rooms are a bit antiquated. They’re clean and well stocked but could be better maintained (small issues with lights, toilets etc). Bathroom has a shower but no door or curtain, standard for Albania. Does not wet the whole bathroom though which is nice. Toilet seat in my room was broken but still usable. Breakfast is served directly to you - NOT buffet style (the description mentions buffet). Breakfast is byrek, a pastry, a hard boiled egg, tomato, white cheese and cucumber, plus coffee/tea, juice and water. Simple but filling. The staff is really quite kind. This seems to be a family run place and they take great care in their treatment of guests. They are able to take credit card but prefer cash so be prepared either way. Excellent location but a bit hard to find initially. You’ll need to walk up the hill, past the secret garden (path on the left when you arrive). Was not loud at night except for the cats on the roof. They were extremely loud one night, but that’s not the hotel’s fault. Just a part of being in Albania! No staff on site it seems for most of the day and all night. So if you have an issue, you’re texting or calling. WiFi did not work well so it was hard to work on a laptop. Minor issues with broken fixtures.

• Akano (8/5): If I had to visit Berat again, I would stay here. - We loved the room, the view from the balcony was spectacular. We are glad we booked the balcony room. The breakfast was great with coffee and fruits! The staff were happy to serve us at the balcony. Location was at the center, we walked everywhere. There was no handwash in the bathroom and the bathroom drain was taking a long time to drain, water was pooling while bathing so we had to wait for some time for it to drain.
