- Chris (10/5): - Everything is great Fence in yard is a bit high, sat at the table you can’t see the fields out the back

- Wills (9/5): Lovely place to stay - Very cozy and comfortable, cutie little place to stay and lovely views and beautiful places to visit and see. Alot of cobwebs in the hut and little spiders. And at one point after washing up only used little water it backed up through the shower not sure if that has happened before.

- Angelique (8/5): Wonderfully located small cabin. - Great location. Pretty outlook. Friendly hosts. Easy check in. First time staying in the cabin, but we had previously stayed in the annex. While we expected the cabin to be small, the bathroom was a little bit too small to be comfortable. Worked for two people for one night and would be ideal for longer stays for one person. For longer stays with more than 1 person I'd recommend the annex instead as it is much more spacious.
- ANDREW (9/5): Comfortable and peaceful - Very cosy and clean it had everything you needed for a short stay
- Ryan (8/5): Value for money and in a peaceful location - The property was really nice and had everything you need for a one night stay The shower was freezing cold and pressure was weak, it warmed up in the morning a little. We were only staying one night but if staying longer it might be a problem.

- Lilacflower (10/5): - This place is lovely! It is so cute and cosy.
I will stay again if in the area.
- Cerys (7/5): Its good but could be better.... - We returned after our visit last year and love the location hence why we booked again. We noticed that is lacked some TLC as well as personal touches that really made the trip special last year. Last year we were greeted with Milk for our morning coffees, a firelog etc but this year we needed to ask for the firelog as it was forgotten and we had no milk. It needed a good clean too, it seems as there were spiders in the bathroom and in the corners near the bed.
There is a safety point id like to point out being that the kitchen unit near the bed is practically hanging off the wall. This needs to be fixed.
I think checkout is very early considering you cant check in till 3pm!

- Ruth (9/5): A really lovely shepherd’s hut, comfy bed and great location. We would love to stay again. - Loved that you left us a bottle of milk. Leaving coffee beans was thoughtful but we didn’t feel up to working out how to use the coffee machine 😊 Only the weather on the next day, but that was just bad luck
- Chris (8/5): -
- Paula (8/5): - Very stylish shepherd's hut run by welcoming, helpful hosts! Only issue was that there was no information about the updated WiFi password so I initially struggled to get connected but the host quickly came to my assistance!
- Samantha (10/5): The Glen Hut - We absolutely loved the location. It was so wonderful to be out in the countryside, but close to all the places we visited. The facilities were fabulous and it was so cosy and comfortable. We liked everything!!
- Rebecca (8/5): -
- Tiffany (7/5): -
- Alison (10/5): A sanctuary during a v stressful time and owners were v helpful via text - thank you 🙏 - So cost and restful - thank you 🙏 A few cobwebs in corners but it’s right on edge of countryside so hard to avoid!
- Linda (10/5): Comfortable stylish accommodation in good location. - Beautiful location with views over countryside. Easily accessible with good parking. Accommodation was comfortable and stylish with all self catering equipment provided. Even coffee beans to grind!
- Annie (9/5): -
- Mikaela (8/5): - So cosy and absolutely everything you could ever need. Completely kitted out.
Absolutely loved the vibe and felt very homey
- Susan (9/5): Cosy and comfortable - Not taken nothing
- Kevin (9/5): Relaxing -
- Ben (9/5): -
- Holly (8/5): Lovely little hut in a peaceful location, has everything you need for a short break! - Perfect location for our one night stop over, quirky little shepherds hut Shower water pressure isn't great so difficult to regulate temp at times, bed length isn't overly generous if you are tall
- Bob (8/5): Had a lovely stay even though was difficult for us, host was helpful - Was clean and tidy, well equipped, garden was lovely to relax in the evening, lovely views It stated in description that was wheelchair accessible but this was not the case as there were iron steps into the property , bed was too high for my disabled wife to get into, she had to sleep on the couch, however would be nice for a led people
- Hayley (6/5): Pleasant - It was a lovely location and very cosy, lovely to wake up to the birds and the sheep in the morning. Shower wasn't the best and wasn't draining very well, when I lifted the plug out it was full of hair 🤢
Quite a lot of cob webs, could of done with hoovering.
Didn't book breakfast as it was quite expensive.
- James (9/5): Superb -
- Mia (10/5): A wonderful find for a cute weekend away, providing everything you could possibly need! - Such a spacious hut to stay in. Also have everything you’d need. Was very close to the house and could be seen through a lot of the windows, but I understand that’s awkward to change.
- Mark (6/5): Not quite as it seems - The actual hot was lovely It was a bit misleading as in the pictures looks like it’s overlooking a field actually it’s in someone’s garden with the dogs barking and kids playing football
- Miriam (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lisa (8/5): Very good -
- Ned (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mike (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vickig (10/5): Perfect relaxation - Was cute and cosy. Was the perfect home for the weekend visiting friends. N/A
- Alderman-wright (10/5): Exceptional -
- Matt (8/5): Very good -
- Samantha (9/5): Superb - Lovely little hut, perfect for a couple of night stays. Everything you need has been included and thought of. Not as secluded as anticipated.
- Noni (6/5): Comfy & compact - Location was good, comfy bed. Well equipped Coffee machine not cleaned still had coffee grounds in. Sink drains smelt unpleasant. Cobwebs pretty much every crevice and corner of the roof space - perhaps needs a good deep clean as end of season?
- Oliver (9/5): Superb -
- Helen (9/5): one of the nicest places I have stayed lately. - The hut was cozy, the person who helped me find the keys was really friendly I struggled to find the property.
- Rosemary (7/5): Lovely place to stay but our experience just had the edge taken off it. - Good location for us as we were attending a wedding locally. Have always wanted to stay in a Shepherd's Hut and it didn't disappoint. Very easy to find and separate entrance made it easy to come and go. Very peaceful and rural setting despite being on the edge of a town. Tastefully decorated and kitted out and a very nice outdoor seating area with outdoor wood stove. A shame we were only there one night and couldn't really make the most of such a nice place to stay. Our host didn't communicate the fact that, as she was away, there would be no breakfast service. We only found out that night. This took the edge off our stay as it had been a plus factor for deciding to book and we might have chosen somewhere else if we had known - or at least brought food with us. The Co-op down the road saved the day but it wasn't as relaxing having to go out shopping first thing. Also, the hut is under a cherry tree and we were woken up by birds(?) or maybe squirrels(?) making a lot of noise scampering around on the roof - not great at 6am after a light night!
- Marie (9/5): Superb - Very well equipped cabin I liked the little garden under the tree, but would have preferred a lower fence in order to enjoy the lovely view.
- Ella (9/5): Superb -
- Corey (7/5): Good -
- Paul (9/5): Superb -
- Irina (10/5): Loved cozy hut. - It was a great experience and we absolutely loved the place. Cozy hut, fully equipped with all necessary facilities. Clean, quiet and friendly. We will definitely come back and would recommend to everyone.
- Laura (9/5): Cute little hut in the countryside - Cute little shepherd's hut, very well laid out and designed. Nice peaceful spot, and beautiful views. The host was responsive and the keys easy to pick up. We requested dairy free milk and there was some in the fridge waiting for us. There's also some basic condiments in the hut like olive oil, and sauce. There's a coffee machine too, if you prefer that, so bring your own ground coffee. That we had to leave! The heater didn't work, and the hot water was intermittent. The vinyl player also didn't work, but it didn't bother us.
- Peter (8/5): Very good - Our dog was offered a sausage breakfast! We each ordered breakfast for 9am. We waited till 9:40- it never arrived! (Nor did Daisy’s sausage).
- Mitchell (9/5): handy and easy easy - Ideal as close to our son, daughter in law and only grandchild
- Dave (9/5): Superb -

Moreover, the breakfast provided was delicious and satisfying. We wholeheartedly recommend this hidden gem to anyone seeking a remote and tranquil getaway.
- Jakbell (10/5): Really, cosy night away - The whole feel of the hut was lovely and cosy !!
Had everything we needed
Secure private garden area for the dog was perfect. The shower water pressure was a little weak, but it did the job
