Guest Reviews
- PRATIK (7/5): We enjoyed - Location was perfect and even property was so well furnished, we all loved it fire place we could not get the way to turn on and in kitchen we found lots of ants
- catherine (9/5): Lovely place to stay when we are working nearby - Light and airy Towels are in need of an upgrade
- Carine (10/5): Parfait! - Très bonne communication avec le propriétaire, bel emplacement et silencieux .
Super appartement « À la maison loin de la maison! »
- Paul (8/5): - Perfect spot close to battersea tube station
- Julia (9/5): -
- Katrina (10/5): - Cute place. Close to buses and only 30 minute walk to metro. Very easy check in
- catherine (9/5): Lovely place to stay - very clean and great location -
- Manyl (10/5): -
- Peter (9/5): Lovely apartment in a very nice location - Very nice apartment as per the photos. Contains all facilities and with nice style. Great for the four of us. Nothing, but be aware there are stairs to get up to the apartment (top floor).
- Ivaylo (9/5): -
- CHIH hao (10/5): - It is convenient to take a bus and the apartment is near the park so you can go jogging every morning. I live there about 10 days. It just like a home and suggest here to everyone who would like to visit London.
- Luke (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marianna (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was stunning: from the neighbourhood, to the house itself and the inside was beautiful - the forniture, the pictures, everything was curated in every little detail. Moreover, the tube was only a 15 minutes walk through the beautiful Battersea Park, and very near there were also many bus stops (very useful if you have to get to Heathrow Airport). The check-in and check-out were also very quick and easy: we received a message with the instruction on how to open and lock the doors. Amazing stay; when I'll be back to London I will look for this apartment once again.
- Catherine (9/5): We have stayed before and Paul is very helpful if anything needs sorting out - Light and bright, clean and great location
- Carol (9/5): Thanks for having us! Convenient location, comfortable apartment with enough seating for all and tastefully decorated. E - Spacious enough for a family of 4 with everything we needed to be comfortable The bath towels need an upgrade. Small and scratchy.
- Asha (10/5): LOVELY, MEMORABLE & COMFY STAY - The apartment was very neat, artistically done up, clean and more than sufficient utensils. Bedding and towels were very clean with extra stuff in the storage. Books, toiletries, fire place everything was there. No complaints at all of such a tastefully done Apartment.
Only one suggestion that do travel light as it has some stairs to reach as it is on the third floor .
- Roman (9/5): Superb -
- Mary (10/5): Excellent location and value for money. - Comfortable and clean stay. Excellent location and price.
- Louise (9/5): Battersea Boutique apartment as gateway to visit London - The top floor apartment was in a fantastic location as a base to see London. It was a well designed space which felt welcoming to return to after a day exploring.
There were good transport links.
It was a dog friendly apartment with Battersea Park on the doorstep. The communal entrance was small and difficult to access with luggage as the downstairs neighbours left a large pram outside their apartment throughout our stay. This meant there was no space to put luggage down to lock or unlock the doors to the upstairs apartment.
Obviously this is no fault of the owners of the upstairs flat.
- Nicole (8/5): Cosy, comfortable and in a beautiful part of Battersea. - Location was fantastic. It was very clean and comfortable. Was perfect temperature. Getting into the apartment was a challenge as there was little room to move.
- Pavel (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was perfect.
- Rhona (8/5): We enjoyed our stay - Good location in central London yet little traffic noise A longish walk to the station (but it is a picturesque one through Battersea Park) so not reeky complaining !
- Gregory (8/5): Perfect to stay few days - We really liked the location because it's very close to public transportation (buses) and close to Cadogan Pier where Uber boats stop (then it's very close to Greenwich and other eastbound attractions. It's super close to Tesco Express which is open also on weekends - this is convenient when you arrive late on weekend days. The place was clean (given British standard of cleanliness, given German or Central Europe standard of cleanliness this was just OK). We also liked the fact is close to Battersea Park (which is huge park) and walking distance to Battersea Power Station which I do recommend for shopping or booking top-chimney lift). Neighborhood area looks calm , however sometimes road of Price of Wales can have a bigger traffic then you might imagine. Place is distant from Paddington respectively 30mins using taxi, or approx. 1h using public buses (with changes). Place is quite close (10-15min walking) to Clapham Junction which is somewhat biggest transportation hub near by.
I do not recommend the place for people with movement disabillites because it's a top floor, and number of narrow steps (no-lift older building) to climb, monouvring bigger luggage is also challenging but acceptable.
I've also met ground level floor neighbor which was quite stright to the point she was not happy with short-term rental above her, so I suggest everyone who is temporal tenant (over booking.com or else) to give respect to other people in the building and think about them.
Overall I would probably come back to this place because we liked it. - kitchen knives not sharp.
- dishware somewhat limited - (those big ones on the fridge are super-heavy)
- needs a new frying pan, current looks bad.
- only one dishwasher tab was given for 7days of stay.
- no instructions whatsoever how to use heating for example.
- no instructions on how to connect with wifi - obviously this is easy, but some people may need.
- sofa and armchair quite old - or used extensively.
- it does not feel like 84m2 space in description. maybe 50-60m2. Rest is taken by stairs.
As you can see almost all of 'not-likes' relates to kitchen or living space, this needs some improvements generally.
