• Alli (10/5): Fantastic - wonderful house and hosts - This was our second stay in this charming and spacious apartment. We loved it just as much second time around! Yannis and Georgia are wonderful hosts, friendly and kind and with lots of really good recommendations for places to eat traditional Cretan food. They welcomed us on arrival and couldn’t have been more helpful. The house is beautifully decorated and furnished and very well equipped, and very cool in hot weather. Everything is really clean. We cook a lot, and found everything we needed in the spacious kitchen. The beds are really comfy and the bathrooms are excellent. The sitting room is lovely, lots of different seating, cushions etc. The bedrooms are spacious, very quiet and with plenty of storage. The air con is very effective for both cold and heat. Only one issue arose during our 2 week stay, and Yannis got it sorted for us immediately. Thank you for a wonderful time! We found the music from the primary school opposite quite charming, but if you’re someone who needs to sleep during the day, you might find it challenging.
• Caroline (10/5): Great stay! - Beautiful, spacious property with plenty of street parking outside. The rooms were all large and airy. Beds were very comfortable and there were two great bathrooms. There is a very large supermarket within walking distance. Yanni, the owner, was exceptionally pleasant and helpful. Loved our stay. Nothing.
• Irini (10/5): - Beautiful, magnificently decorated apartment at a great location, with easy parking. The apartment offers a lot of space and is vey comfortable. Only a short walk to the centre, with beautiful cats coming to the garden. The hosts are very nice, helpful and generous. Nothing. We liked a lot the music played at the school opposite from the apartment, but it could be an issue for some people.
• Elizabeth (10/5): Sehr schöne , großzügige Wohnung - Unser Gastgeber Yanni ist überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit, wir wurden persönlich begrüßt und die Wohnung gezeigt . Yanni spricht Deutsch und Englisch. In der Wohnung ist es absolut ruhig . Die Räume sind sehr schön eingerichtet. In der Küche ist alles erdenkliche vorhanden - Bestens zu empfehlen! ♥️🇬🇷
• Alli (10/5): Fabulous! Beautiful, very comfortable, spacious - even better than the photos! We’d love to return. - Yannis and Georgia are wonderful hosts, friendly and kind. They met us to show us round and left us fresh Cretan pies and excellent Cretan wine, both of which we much enjoyed on our first night. They also provide good guide books and personal recommendations to eating places. Their house is wonderful, beautifully designed, spacious and extremely comfortable. The kitchen is very well-equipped, we made most of our meals here. Fantastic showers and excellent A/C throughout the house. The outside seating area is a great place to spend mornings in the sun and late afternoons in the shade, with very comfy outdoor seating plus a table and chairs for work or eating. The neighbourhood cats are a bonus! The location is great, it’s a quiet, tree-lined residential area, away from the hurly-burly of the central town but within walking distance. Absolutely nothing. Snap it up!

• Paul (10/5): superb and loved being in town so we could walk home after a glass or 2 of wine - The host was the absolute best.. a very charming man who grew up in the property... He was way more than a host, any challenge I gave him he exceeded any expectations, including arranging a sail boat for the day to do an amazing trip of a lifetime. Yanni is a charming lovely man and his wife is equally charming... Nothing to dislike.... The walk into old port was a little more than 10 mins and was really quite pleasant after over indulging at one of the many excellent restaurants ...
• Federica (10/5): - Abbiamo soggiornato in questa splendida struttura per cinque notti e tutto è stato semplicemente perfetto! La casa era pulitissima e dotata di ogni comfort: utensili per cucinare, lavatrice, tutto il necessario per sentirsi davvero a casa. È molto spaziosa e comodamente situata a pochi minuti a piedi dal centro e dalle spiagge. Nei dintorni ci sono anche supermercati e farmacie Ma ciò che ha davvero reso speciale la nostra esperienza sono stati Yanni e sua moglie, due persone meravigliose. Fin dal nostro arrivo ci hanno accolto con grande calore e gentilezza, mostrandoci la casa e facendoci trovare in frigorifero un’ottima bottiglia di vino. Durante tutto il soggiorno ci hanno dato consigli preziosi su dove mangiare e cosa visitare, permettendoci di scoprire luoghi bellissimi che senza loro non avremmo conosciuto. La sera prima della partenza ci hanno persino portato del cibo locale delizioso, che abbiamo molto apprezzato. Yanni è stato inoltre estremamente gentile a raggiungerci in aeroporto per restituirci una giacca che avevamo dimenticato in casa. Non dimenticheremo mai questo gesto. Il nostro soggiorno è stato fantastico anche grazie a loro, due persone speciali che porteremo sempre nel cuore. Speriamo di poter tornare presto e avere il piacere di soggiornare di nuovo da voi. Vi mandiamo un grande abbraccio e vi ringraziamo di cuore!

• Caroline (10/5): - Excellent , spacious accommodation. Very clean and cool when coming in from the heat. Very useful to have 2 bathrooms. The hosts were very welcoming without being obtrusive and very willing to help book taxis for us. All facilities were of an excellent standard. Nothing.

• Sanique (10/5): Beautiful and comfy - It is absolutely beautiful, clean, and well taken care of. Large comfy beds and multiple showers made our stay very pleasant. The owner greeted us with a nice bottle of wine, along with tasty local treats. Lovely experience, if I'm ever back on the island, will be staying here again.
• Ved (10/5): Our host Mr Yanni is an exceptional host. - Our host Mr Yanni is an exceptional person, felt like a family visit. recommending it highly for value for money and nothing beats it if you are travelling with family for host makes you feel like a family member. Host's way of making everything extra comfortable and location was where can explore place while strolling. beaches are close by and so is market.
• Jakub (10/5): A successful trip, I recommend Casa di Batsi for a relaxing holiday! - Beautiful design of the apartment, space giving comfort. Location close to the school. Quite noisy during the school year when the school is in operation.
• Bush (10/5): Perfect - There was nothing not to love about Casa Di Basti. The property was as pictured, spacious and thoughtfully decorated, the beds were comfortable, the central air conditioning (individually adjustable by room)was glorious, when needed, the kitchen well equipped and two separate bathrooms, which worked perfectly for four bedrooms, rather than an ensuite and one separate bathroom. Not to mention plenty of cushions and sofas for lounging. All of the commodities were in abundance, clothes washing detergent, coffee pods, dishwasher tablets, sewing kit etc, contributing to our seamless stay. Our host Yanni greeted us with wine and warm pastries as well as following up with lots of great eating recommendations. The property has all of the necessities close by, supermarket, fruiterer and bakery, as well as some restaurants. It was a 10 minute walk to the old town with a plethora of greeting eating and viewing. We had a car and there was plenty of street parking directly out the front.
• Vicki (9/5): Superb - The location was perfect. It’s a 15-20 min walk to old part of town. 5 min walk to many restaurants, markets and cafes. We had a car and always had parking in front. The host brought us welcome treats which was very nice.
• Crina (10/5): It was a great 3 days stay for all of us. - The apartment definitely has the “wow” factor! It is one of those rare cases when the reality looks better than the pictures! Everything was amazing. The hosts were warm and friendly, extremely accommodating and genuinely good people. They welcomed us with a bottle of wine and warm pastries. We were in town for 3 days for a family friend’s wedding and were looking for a nice place for 4 adults, who have not seen each-other in a while, to spend few days together. Our “must have” list was long: minimum 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms; close to downtown; beautiful design (3 of us are architects); nice outdoor space; generous indoor space; all one level home (my mom is 82 years old and has a hard time with steps); flat street (no hills or steep slopes, no stairs or split levels); easy parking… The home itself is the first floor of a nicely restored building from the 20’s, with 4 meters ceilings, beautiful original woodwork, and classical architectural details; a “labor of love” renovation for the owners. When I say that this place has it all, It does have it all!!!! We enjoyed every moment spent in the apartment.
• Marta (10/5): Great place to stay in Chania 💚 - The place looked better in life than in pictires. Everything was of high quality. The hosts have surprised us with a bottle of wine and home made warm pies that arrived right after our arrival. Yanni and his lovely wife welcomed us at the arrival and when calling a taxi they saw us off. As the place was not immediately occupied when leaving we were allowed to occupy the place until evening. Air conditioning extremely efficient, beds very comfortable, nice and spacy rooms and bathrooms. Great place, great choice! So thank you again for wonderful time in Greece 😊
• Ramanjit (10/5): Exceptional - The accommodation was beautiful and clean. It is a short walk away from the centre of town.. The owners of the property were so helpful and took their time to give us recommendations (thank you Yanni and Rea). Also when when our flights were delayed they went out of their way to book taxis for us. The communication was excellent.
• Jill (10/5): Casa Di Batsi is a wonderful home in Chania. - The apartment was very spacious and comfortable for us (2 couples) during our 1 week stay. It’s a beautiful renovation of an older home with very modern bathrooms and furnishings. The kitchen was fully equipped- including an electric juicer we used several times for delicious, fresh OJ! We enjoyed the front patio to sit outside. The location is great—a quiet residential area; an elementary school across the street; short walk to a great bakery, grocery store, produce store; and several bars/restaurants nearby. We always walked to the Chania Harbor, Old Town, and beaches. About 15-20 minutes walk each way. We could park our rental car on the street and had some great excursions into the mountains. Our hosts -Yanni and his family were wonderful. They provided welcome treats, restaurant and sightseeing advice, new towels mid week, and they quickly responded to any questions we had about the house. Absolutely no concerns. We would all happily stay there again!

They hosted us generously, gave us recommendations and intentions and were available to solve problems if necessary There was a malfunction in the oven in the kitchen, but the rest of the fittings made it possible to overcome it. In addition, Yeni said it will be fixed soon

• Cristian (10/5): Our stay at Casa di Batsi was absolutely perfect. - Our stay far exceeded our expectations in every way. The property is incredibly spacious, thoughtfully organized, and tastefully decorated, exuding an abundance of style. Right in front of the house, there's a designated outdoor dining area that quickly became our favorite spot to relax after our delightful days at the beach. The entire house appears to have undergone a splendid renovation, with the kitchen boasting brand-new, top-of-the-line appliances, and the bathrooms and every other area equally well-appointed. During our week-long stay, we were pleasantly surprised to have a cleaning day included, which only added to the overall exceptional experience. However, what truly set this stay apart was the exceptional hospitality provided by Yanni and his wife. They are truly wonderful individuals who went above and beyond to assist us with anything we needed. Yanni even helped us arrange the rental of a van, despite it being a busy season, and this proved to be incredibly convenient as it allowed us to explore other parts of the island at our own pace. The wealth of recommendations and invaluable tips we received from our hosts was simply extraordinary. Their boundless helpfulness and resourcefulness made our stay all the more enjoyable, and we cannot express our gratitude enough for their outstanding efforts. They are truly remarkable hosts. Our experience at Casa di Batsi was truly exceptional, as we found nothing to dislike during our stay.

The location was walking distance to the center, bus station and old town. We loved that we could park our rent-a-car in front. The hosts are beyond great and accommodated even some extra requests from us. The communication was flawless, proactive and with a lot of helpful suggestions on what to do and where to go in the area. We'd definitely stay there again if we return to Chania. Nothing. The place exceeded our expectations.

• Maria (10/5): Exceptional - Exceptional experience! The house was very spacious and comfortable with big windows, which allowed light to come in. The decoration was very beautiful and the hosts were amazing and very hospitable and friendly. The location is perfect, since you need only 10 minutes to go on foot to the old harbour and 5 minutes to the closest cafeteria. Bakery only one minute walk away. There is a lot of parking space in the area. Highly recommended.
• George (10/5): Lovely Stay in Chania - We had a wonderful stay in Casa di Batsi. The apartment is completely renovated with beautiful restored furnishing. It was spacious, clean and centrally located. The owner Mr Giannis and his family were friendly and kind. We had a lovely stay here and would definitely recommend it!
