- Springer (10/5): Exceptional - We had a wonderful time at Dona’s villa. If you're planning a tour of Colombo city, this is an ideal place to stay, as it's located in a very peaceful and tranquil area. We ordered food from them, and it was absolutely delicious (the chef had experience working in hotels in the Maldives). The villa itself is spacious, spotlessly clean, and the garden is beautifully maintained. It’s excellent value for money, and we were truly satisfied with our stay.

- Martine (6/5): Okay for a couple of nights. - The location is close to a nice beach although we were advised not to swim. Property has a lovely garden. Property is large with plenty of space. It is a well known tourist area so plenty of restaurants close by. Lady was very helpful and friendly although her English wasn’t great. There is no name on the property so although taxi dropped us close could not find it. Although a pic of property big gates and in the dark made it hard to find. Luckily called to a neighbour who helped. Nobody in the property and waited at neighbour for about an hour before lady came with the key. Phone number did not work. Only one shower and it was pretty useless dribble and no consistent heat. Light switches so many and so complicated. With the heat and not a beach to swim in not a family place.

I made a last-minute booking, and despite the short notice, the host was incredibly welcoming and made the check-in process smooth and efficient. The room was clean, well-maintained, and had all the amenities mentioned. The villa is just a short walk from the ocean, perfect for relaxing by the beach. The next day, I had a flight to France, and the villa's location made it very convenient for me to reach the airport. I highly recommend this place!
