С первых минут чувствовалось, что здесь всё сделано с любовью и заботой о гостях. Дом очень уютный, красивый и безупречно чистый — продумана каждая деталь для комфортного отдыха. Особенно приятно было внимание хозяйки. При заезде нас ждали милые подарки, а также подробные рекомендации о доме, острове и всех важных местах поблизости. Она была невероятно доброжелательной, отзывчивой и всегда готовой помочь. Благодаря этому мы чувствовали себя не просто гостями, а словно приехали домой. Отдельного восхищения заслуживает терраса с видом на океан. Это настоящее волшебство — встречать там рассветы и провожать закаты, наслаждаясь шумом волн, тишиной и покоем. Такие моменты остаются в памяти надолго. Это место подарило нам ощущение уюта, гармонии и полного отдыха. Если мы снова окажемся на этом острове, то без сомнений выберем именно этот дом. • ana (10/5): We had a wonderful stay and would definitely return when visiting Pico again. Thank you so much Helena! - Helena’s home is a treasure! A typical Azorian home built with love. The patio with a view of the ocean was breathtaking. The house was spotless and very comfortable and the amenities were modern and in excellent condition. The downstairs living area surrounds you with lava stone and ambient lighting. Helena was a wonderful host. She gave us many great suggestions about the island. She left Azorian bread, cheese, and wine for us.

• Gilles (10/5): - Très jolie maison, juste a côté de l' océan. Très bien équipé et très propre.La propriétaire est aux petits soins, même a distance. Le village est petit mais vous y trouverez tout ce qu il vous faut. Manque d isolation au niveau des portes, surtout celle de la chambre.
• Marina (10/5): My stay was very pleasant. After two weeks in hotel, I really appreciated to stay in a house . - Casa do Canal is ideal for holidays. It is located in front of the ocean. The garden is very comfortable and permits to dinner outside. You can rest comfortably there and appreciate silence and the peace of the place. The house is fully equipped and very nice. It has the typical style of the house in Pico. It has huge black walls and red doors and windows. We could not find a better location ! Onestly, I do not have any suggestions. Our experience was fantastic.

• Herman (10/5): Top huis op een toplocatie - De locatie ligt direct aan de oceaan met zicht op buureiland Sao Jorge. De tuin is groot en comfortabel. Het huis zelf is echt van alle gemakken voorzien. Er is niets dat je zal missen. Het contact met Helena was erg goed. We hadden leuke appconversaties. Haar service level is erg hoog en laat niets te wensen over.

• Johanna (10/5): Friedliches Paradies auf Pico – mit Herz und Meerblick - Schon beim Ankommen haben wir uns in die Casa do Canal verliebt. Hinter der roten Tür verbirgt sich kein gewöhnliches Ferienhaus, sondern ein liebevoll gestaltetes Zuhause, das Helena & Manuel mit ganz viel Herz geschaffen haben. Zur Begrüßung standen Brot, Käse, Marmelade und ein Glas Terras de Lava Wein für uns bereit – sogar der Tisch war mit frischen Hortensien geschmückt. Die Terrasse mit Blick aufs Meer ist ein Traum: Hier genießt man spektakuläre Sonnenuntergänge, hört das Rauschen der Wellen und die einzigartigen Rufe der Cagarros, beobachtet Eidechsen und Fledermäuse – und findet unzählige kleine Lieblingsplätze zum Verweilen. Das Haus selbst ist perfekt ausgestattet, absolut sauber und bietet alles, was man braucht: zwei gemütliche Schlafzimmer, eine tolle Küche, ein schönes Wohnzimmer (das wir nicht genutzt haben, weil die Terrasse so unwiderstehlich war) und sogar eine Waschmaschine, die sehr praktisch war. Ein kleiner Badeplatz liegt nur eine Minute zu Fuß entfernt. Auch die Lage ist ideal: 30 Minuten nach Madalena, 30 Minuten nach Lajes und nur 20 Minuten ins wunderschöne Hochland – perfekt, um Pico in alle Richtungen zu entdecken. Besonders nach unserem Aufenthalt auf São Miguel haben wir es genossen, dass Pico so friedlich, entspannt und überhaupt nicht überlaufen ist. Helena & Manuel sind zauberhafte Gastgeber, die an alles denken, liebevoll erklären und jederzeit erreichbar sind. Dank ihnen fühlten wir uns von der ersten Minute an willkommen, geborgen und bestens umsorgt. Ein Aufenthalt voller Herz, Meerblick und unvergesslicher Momente – danke, liebe Helena & lieber Manuel, für dieses besondere Erlebnis auf Pico!

• Constance (10/5): - Helena was very helpful and always available when I contacted her. The location was peaceful and beautiful. The cottage was cozy and had everything we needed. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept in and the shower had great water pressure.
• Eric (10/5): Magnifique maison typîque de l'île. - Un petit bijou d'hébergement à l'aplomb de l'océan. Tout était parfait, la cuisine, la chambre à coucher, le salon qui se trouvait au rez-de-chaussée (très grande pièce et très confortable). Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. La maison était très rustique, partiellement en pierre de lave, avec un coin de jardin dominant la mer. L'endroit était très tranquille. L'hôte fût très disponible. Nous recommandons vivement cette maison pleine de charme. Arrivés de nuit nous avons eu de la peine à trouver la boîte sécurisée pour prendre la clé d'entrée.

The location was hard to beat with views over the sea and mountains at the back. Great terraced garden to enjoy and a quiet location for a restful stay. Helena was extremely helpful and communicative throughout our stay. Nothing!

• Christian (10/5): Beeindruckender Ort, haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, möchten gerne wiederkommen.. - Die liebevolle Einrichtung, die technisch komplette Ausstattung, ganz besonders zu erwähnen, die kombinierte Warmluft-und Klimaanlage, alles was das Herz begehrt ist vor Ort. Wir haben den Urlaub sehr genossen und haben hier für uns eine perfekte Unterkunft gefunden. Sehr fürsorgliche und nette Vermieterin, unkomplizierte Rücksprache.

Küche super ausgerüstet. Es wurde einfach an alles gedacht. Pico hat uns überwältigt. Wir kommen gerne zurück in dieses Traumhaus auf dieser Trauminsel.

• Linda (10/5): Amazing sea-front luxurious cottage - The house is just amazing! The lovely renovated lava stone beach cottage feels luxurious and has everything you’d need (there are teas and coffee and the host even welcomes you with a wine, how sweet). We loved the seafront location and late night dinners at the garden with nothing but sea in front of you. The matraces are very comfortable so the sleeping was great.
