Yusran (1/5): - The room is nice and bery suitable for family During our stay, the electricity was gone , and sadly the hotel does not have genset/battery or any other back up electricity compared to other hotels at its vicinity… the first time in my and family life stays at hotel without electricity, starting from 5PM until we checked out at 11am… no refund whatsoever!… quiet frustating, at least we have some refund from totatl paid by us!.

Noemi (6/5): Ok se si è di passaggio - Perfetto come punto di appoggio per una notte di transito per visitare il Borneo. Rispetto all'offerta, questo è risultato OK. La camera non è super pulita, pur essendo abbastanza nuova. Alcune camere hanno una finestra che dà su un muro.

Marina (7/5): Per gli standard di tawau va bene ma in assoluto no - Sicuramente per gli standard di tawau e una struttura migliore delle altre e più vicino agli standard europei ma siamo comunque ben lontani La struttura si trova al secondo piano sopra un KFC in un centro commerciale in mezzo al nulla quindi non è di certo un hotel. Il bagno era sporco con alcuni capelli e macchie

Anonymous (3/5): Poor - - The room was very damaged and unclean. The floor made the bottom of my feet black when I walked around. There was splatters all over the mirror and hairs in the toilet. The toilet seat was broken and further damage to walls and floor.

Tskhoo99 (4/5): This is my first and last stay at this hotel - The hotel (16-units) which was situated above a commercial block, was quite. 1)We were told that this is a boutique hotel so we were expecting a standard higher than a standard hotel. Unfortunately I thought the hotel was worse than a 3-star hotel. 2) When we arrived, there was only 1 soap bottle and 1 shampoo bottle. Both were half-filled. We approach the staff and was given half-filled bottles. 3)The toilet roll was half-used and there was no spare roll anywhere. 4) There was no information on which switch was for what so we wasted time figuring. 5) The bed-sheet seems crumpled and not neat. 6) There was no tea bag 7) Seems like the previous guest left a used bottle of drink in the fridge and there were some guest's belongings in the drawer. 8) There was no information on the F&B around the hotel.

Ridgway (5/5): Adequate to stay at for an in-transit overnight stop. - The price was good & the hotel was appropriate for an in transit overnight stop. The receptionist was very helpful in suggesting a cafe to get food. Location on the second level of a commercial building in an industrial estate. All food & beverage required exiting the hotel & walking to a nearby cafe. Felt slightly unsafe in the area after dark.

Nur (8/5): Receptionist saved the stay - For the first room (ROOM 309), the housekeeper did not clean it well. The fridge was filled with Heineken & Tiger (alcoholic beverages). And this does not sit well with Muslim travelers like us. Used face towel was not cleaned as well. The ceiling fan & balcony light were not functioning too. Fortunately, the receptionist was fast to act & changed us to another room (ROOM 311). The same thing happened with the fridge. It was not properly cleaned but the receptionist cleaned it up for us. Should be noted that the room was better than the first one except for the shower area. It was clogged. And few of the lights need to be replaced (the one located above the TV and the sink). The complimentary drink ( the coffee & creamer) was not provided but the receptionist provided it upon request. Not really sound proof as you can hear other guests talking and running at the hall. However, the noise from the street was completely blocked which compensated for the hall situation. The stay could be an unpleasant one, however, the way the receptionist handled the situation made it much better. She was fast to act & genuinely apologetic for the inconveniences occurred. And we were lucky as the hotel was not fully booked. Otherwise, we won't be able to get a new room.

Brendan (7/5): The hotel has a good business model but needs to equip the rooms a little better. - The location was very good, close to lots of eating outlets, supermarkets and stores. Not in the exact centre of Tawau but conveniently located. The room was compact and modern but there was 2 steps down from the entrance area of the room to the area where the bed actually was, which could be quite dangerous if you had to get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, which I did. Also we couldn't switch off one of the lights in the room and a member of staff had to come twice to the room to try and find where to switch off the light. This was after 10 o'clock pm and disturbed my wife's sleep. Eventually the member of staff had to switch off the light s from the main fuse box as it was clear that there was a fault in the fuse box.

Would like to compliment on the assistance and efficiency of the front desk staff who was exemplary in carrying out her duties. The hotel mngt is fortunate to have her services Nothing in particular but providing " a proper toiletry stand or container for stuff like soap , shampoo etc would be helpful. The flooring in the shower room could be better maintained.

Hm.f (9/5): Superb - 1. The cleanliness. 2. Facilities provided in the room. 3. Friendly, helpful staff. 4. Location within walking distance to various food outlets and shops. Once you've checked in, no need to drive out again until the next day to find food or stuffs you might need. Parking might be a little tricky to find if you happen to arrive during peak hours as people are flocking to the commercial areas. But after 5-6pm, finding a parking spot isn't a problem.
