Barry (2/5): Very diapapointed we did not get an apartment as described and paid for. - The location in Blanes near the beach and town was good and the apartment was modern and clean. We did not have the sea view we booked and paid for. Our room looked out directly at a dilapidated closed hotel about 15 feet away in a side road with pipes, cables and parts hanging off and piles of pigeon poo 30cm high and graffiti over the walls. Also we were refused sheets and towels for the second week even though they were paid for. The hot water came out cold after a minute or so, so we suffered cold showers for the whole two weeks. The air con was unusable as there were no instructions for the complex control unit to even turn it on. We had to get a taxi to Lloret and back to collect the keys from a secure keybox with our cases and luggage after arriving at the apartment from the airport. The apartment is directly above a Cuban musical themed restaurant playing music until after 4am some nights, do not expect a restful stay here. We were made to pay in cash before arriving instead of the credit card stated by Booking.com, this was unapproved by Booking.com and difficult to arrange to a Spanish company. Do not book this apartment which is deceiptfully described and photographed - this is a con. Shame on you Booking.com for not vetting this apartment, it is not suitable for holiday rental as described.
