• Claudia (9/5): Lugar confortable y personal muy atentos y amables - Como su nombre lo dice es una casa, y te rentan la habitación, que es muy comoda, grande y de buen gusto tiene una vista que a mi parecer es en lo que se debe de enfocar que es el lago aunque parece que van a comenzar a construir y en algún momento la van a tapar, debo hacer un reconocimiento al personal que es muy amable, calido y te hacen sentir en casa, mis respetos para el personal tan amable y atento. Esta bien ubicado pero la llegar me costo trabajo por el tema del google maps y las calles escondidas.

Rumorosa nel pomeriggio e con odori di cibo durante il giorno. Andrebbe isolata quella parte di casa per migliorare

El baño es privado, pero está afuera de la habitación. Además, el baño estaba sucio cuando llegamos. Por las noches puede haber algo de ruido de la calle.

• Wendy (Yun Wen) (8/5): Perfect spot to spend a few nights in San Juan! - Such a lovely family, friendly kind and helpful! Beautiful view of mountain and lake to wake up to. Spacious room! Only that the bathroom is in the shared hallway, so it’s a little less private but we were fine with it! The bathroom can be better ventilated.
• Sofie (9/5): - Goede ligging, dicht bij alles in San Juan. Zeer vriendelijke eigenares. Warme douche en propere kamer! Het is enkel wat moeilijk te vinden (het valt niet echt op), maar wij belden naar de eigenares en ze hielp ons meteen verder!

• Coleman (9/5): - Just as pictured in the photos and run by a super sweet family who shares the home in which you'll be staying. Located right in the center of San Juan La Laguna, and complete with all the amenities one might hope for during a stay in San Juan. This is not the fault of the wonderful family who owns this home whatsoever, but because the home is so centrally located and the windows a bit thin, there is a good bit of outside noise at all hours. I just recommend bringing ear plugs if you are a light sleeper!

• Kenneth (10/5): - Desde el momento de nuestra llegada la atención de don Walter fue espectacular no solo en lo referente al hospedaje, sino también en cuanto a las recomendaciones para conocer los pueblos que rodean el lago y hasta para coordinar el transporte qué nos llevaría desde San Juan hasta Antigua... Nos ayudaron guardando el equipaje cerca de 3 horas después del check-out para poder realizar nuestro itinerario de una manera mas sencilla, lo cual me pareció un gran detalle por parte de esta maravillosa familia... La habitación es exactamente como en las fotografías, espaciosa, limpia, con una gran vista al lago y al mirador Kaqasiiwaan... Además de estar sumamente cerca de puntos de interés como la calle de las sombrillas y el mirador... Sin duda alguna volvería a hospedarme con mi familia en caso de visitar nuevamente Atitlan...

• Eve (10/5): Ideal for quiet refuge while on the lake. - Very spacious double room with gorgeous view of the lake. Room and bathroom were very clean. The family who rent the room is lovely and were very helpful during our stay.
• Hoeflinger (10/5): Perfect stay for good rest and exploring San Juan - The views were stunning and the windows kept out night noise for good sleep in a comfortable bed. Shower was hot. Nice breeze from windows and fan in room. Safe. Some outside noise through walls though normal and only during the day not at night.

• Frank GV (10/5): Excelente lugar y trato súper amable. - El edificio luce prácticamente nuevo y por ende los muebles e instalaciones ni hablar, súper limpias, sin olor de humedad y con bastante privacidad, no se escucha el ruido exterior. La chica anfitriona mis respetos, en mi estancia ella me ayudó a conseguir el tour al rostro maya (ella lo gestiono), me dió tips y consejos de lugares para comer y a dónde ir o que visitar. También accedió a resguardar mi maleta un par de horas para no traerla cargando conmigo desde el check out hasta la hora en que tenía planeado salir del pueblo rumbo a San Marcos. No hay nada que pensar, si llegara a volver seria mi primera opción para alquilar un habitación. Lo que no me gustó y es totalmente ajeno a la administración y el edificio, es que algunas calles estaban en reconstrucción y había calles tapadas por lo que medio me complicó llegar al inmueble (nada del otro mundo, solo andaba por la siguiente cuadra)
• Leila (7/5): Prima voor een paar nachtjes. - Ruime kamers en een prima locatie De badkamer zit niet in de slaapkamer en je komt langs de keuken van het gezin als je in de badkamer moet zijn. Het gezin staat al vroeg op. Hygiene kon beter.

• Karen (10/5): Une maison moderne, très confortable et bien située. - J'avais une chambre très spacieuse, avec un grand lit très confortable et une belle couverture en extra pour ne pas avoir froid. L'eau de la douche était très chaude. Ma chambre avait un balcon, dont j'ai beaucoup profité, la vue est superbe! Il y a de l'eau pure disponible. Tout est neuf et moderne. Tout le monde était très gentil pour m'accueillir, et surtout Yaneth qui m'a donné toutes les indications via whatsapp pour accéder au logement. Rien, à part le chemin pour accéder. Ce n'est pas la faute de Yaneth, mais de Google Maps, qui s'entête à faire passer par des chemins qui n'existent pas. Note utile: prendre la route par le haut, pour accéder à la maison depuis la route principale qui monte. Bien se fier aux photos du quartier, ce sont de bons repères visuels !

La Ubicación sin problemas ya que el pueblo es bien pequeño y la casa se encuentra a 2 cuadras de la calle de las sombrillas. Los dueños muy gentiles y súper buena onda con disposición a ayudarte en todo momento.

• Christopher (9/5): Authentic Guatemalan Homestay - This property is more like a homestay. I enjoyed my time practicing my Spanish with the kind family. I had my own room and bathroom, and was able to use the kitchen to store food in the fridge and the stove to boil water. Everything was clean and well prepared! I would come back again! N/A

• Viktoria (4/5): Our poorest experience in Guatemala and in Latin America. - The bedroom and the bathroom are relatively modern. Get prepared for an overpriced and surprise home-stay experience. The room has no private entrance and no direct access to the bathroom. Instead, you will need to go through a hall which is basically one space (divided with some walls, but without a door or a curtain) with the family's kitchen, which heavily affects privacy. The bathroom was simply dirty (this was arranged when we indicated the problem) and also the bedroom lacked proper cleaning. The kitchen often smelled, as food rests were simply left around for the day/night. The view to the lake and the mountains is nice indeed in case you manage to overlook the somewhat shabby vicinity which straches directly from under your window. Given that these circumstances are not communicated on Booking in a fair manner, our stay has become a source of frustration. On top of everything, the owner wanted to charge us to keep our luggage for 2 hours longer. After we protested, he changed his mind, but overall, it was simply shameful.

• Lora (5/5): Economical choice for basics - Spacious and spare rooms, hot water, nice views. Owners seem nice. Safe and clean room. Not a lot of amenities such as filtered water and a cup in the room. Not the owners fault, but it was barking dogs all night long . Ear plugs did not help. When I booked, I didn’t realize I’d be staying in a home / not a big deal but without access to kitchen (may have been the language barrier but was told i would need to pay extra if I wanted to put a few things in their fridge)
